zoboizee: You can only use what you have. You can't have carpenter Ndidi, Ogu and Etebo in your midfield and expect flair. Right now, only Mikel (and rarely Iwobi) is capable of doing anything close to being described as flair in that midfield. The rest are only destroyers and kick and rush players. We simply lack talented personnel in the midfield department. It's not Rohr's fault. 3 Likes 1 Share |

sheyishemba: Sadly, I see the dinosaur picking Iheanacho again.. We can only hope he doesn't. Osimhen and Onuachu are far better options. We have no use for a professional footballer who struggles to trap the ball. |

edi287: Trump has done nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong with loving one's country and putting it's interests before that of other countries. I find it disappointing that many intelligent people here have swallowed the "Trump is a white supremacist" propaganda. It's just a pity. Seriously guys, we need to watch less of CNN and actually take the pains to actually investigate the facts about American politics and the Trump administration. Namaste. ....but that's by the way. Let's keep talking football 1 Like |

Italian giants AC Milan have agreed terms on a shock swoop on Leicester's Kelechi Iheanacho. The Rossoneri are currently short of options to lead their attack following the departure of Argentine hitman Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea of England. Financial details of the deal are yet to be fully disclosed to the public at press time, but according to Italian journal Gazetta dello sport reports, both club sides have agreed on a deal and personal terms are currently being ironed out with the player's representatives. The big lipped forward has scored only once this season across all competitions. - Biannosti Sporti journale de Italia. |

wayodude: I remember how Nedum Onuoha turned down a chance to star for Nigeria at the 2010 WC, thinking the oyinbos have plans for him. When his eyes finally cleared, the same Nedum Onuoha later declared for Nigeria and virtually begged to be called up to the SE. But by then it was already too late. These present foreign borns should learn from history |

"Our chances against Nigeria are very slim, they have good players playing in elite leagues as compared to ours who are in the second and third division."- Sudan U- 23 coach ahead of their clash with Nigeria U-23. This one sweet my belle die. O bring back the days when the mere mention of the word " Super Eagles" would send shivers down the spine of opposing coaches!. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Earthquake2: Seriously, I think Rohr has grown to LOVE the SE. The SE is more than just a job to him, it has become a personal project of his. Do you know that after the WC, many other African countries including Egypt with it's array of stars offered Rohr a more lucrative contract than the one he presently has with us. He turned them all down for our sake. All our insults to him notwithstanding. Rohr personally takes the pains to give our players advice on career choices, get involved in thier personal life issues (as in the case of Kalu's mom's kidnap), and even uses his vast connections to help them secure deals. This is not part of his job description. But he does it because he wants to. Because he genuinely loves the GWG. Rohr's tactical prowess may be suspect, but as far as team loyalty, man management and dedication to duty goes, you will hardly find a better coach in the whole wide world. 20 Likes 4 Shares |

Humility017: I am not insulting him for being poor. Many of us here are not so well-to-do but we hustle and scrape and grind everyday to make whatever we can to keep body and soul together. Unlike some lazy shameless people who will resort to begging strangers instead of hustling like their mates.
