@ PHEESAYOUR

Have you sat down to think what the cause of your problem might be??

If you keep finding yourself in a same compromising situation over and over again, then maybe there's something you're not doing right??

Are you the kind that has to have a girlfrind?? Could it be you leap before looking instead of the other way round??

If all these girls really are your girlfriends then maybe you've been rushing into things wink

Take your time, don'tbe vulnerable, don't act desperate, Cos you'll only end up attracting the wrong girls. Before jumping into a relationship, take time to study a girl . . true love is difficult to find, only but a few get it served. When you find that true love, believe me your days of creating numerous threads will be over cheesy

FamilyRe: Thinking Of Getting Married But Living Apart For Now by cuteass1(f): 3:14am On Jun 01, 2007

@ cute-ass
your point is duly noted. A neighbour of my uncle's i once knew lived separate from his wife for the first 2 years of their marriage. there were married only 2 weeks and the wife did not want to settle in Nigeria so she could get naturalise as a US citizen. the guy had a good bank job here and did not want to leave.
After 2 years he got tired of hoping for one visit or the other and decided to go join her for good.
There were fine for the 2 years they were apart so its definitely possible for a relationship to survive that.
thats the thing, actually literally the chances are 50/50, but worldly chances of surviving 30/70

There are those things you seem to weigh the negativity to the possible positive, things like online dating, distant relationships and the rest

I guess the answer should be "following one's heart" Cos in situations like this two people will give an exact same story, but each with a different outcome.

Until you tried or not try, you'll never find out the other. A and B have different destinies . .

would i want to do that? lai lai! Where i go you go! grin
Are you asking sef?? Even if it means holding the edge of he aeroplane, as long as we land at the same destination grin

I could do a distant relationship just fine, but knowing the frustrations, i wouldn't want it in a marriage, esp. if kids are involved sad But dear what do you do when you're in the situatuon with "that one", . . life angry grin

@ Davidylan

I get your point, thought about that

But the truth?? you can't predict tomorrow wink

What if the 3-4 years turns into 9-10 years or even forever. Afterall she doesn't want to relocate to naija just yet, and there's no gurantee that she would in those number of years

When you don't live together, I mean a situation where you're dependant of the embassy to see your spouse, your view might change, you might fall for someone else during the period of time undecided

If they're not about to live together as man and wife yet, what difference does it make?? Let them wait because they stood the test of time, are meant to be and love each other . . not because of the "ring"

I know married couples sometimes have to go through the same thing, not all find it amusing either but then they couldn't prevent it wink

modification: Or is there something else they'll gain from it?? have they thought of having kids already?? which i think makes it worse, why have kids when mum and dad don't live under the same roof (yet)??

FamilyRe: Would You Encourage Your Husband To Have Aonther Wife If You Guys Can't Have Children by cuteass1(f): 2:32am On Jun 01, 2007
Noo ooh, no second wife

The consequences are just too much and disheartening, hm hm, lai lai grin

Like someone else said, we'll adopt (God forbid i be in the shoe though but should incase), I'll rather do artificial insemination and the kid is ours

Second wives can be dangerous, family and home wrecking, peace and fun breakers, and before you know it, it graduates to "my own, her own, our own"

When you invite a lady to share your home and husband esp. on the grounds that you can't bear kids, you can as well wave your hapiness good-bye, Cos right before your two eyes it'll fly out the window

What i dislike most is the sharing and turns, *shaking head* Mba oooh, no, nei, nehi, no!!!

RomanceRe: Abortion: Would You, Won't You? by cuteass1(f): 12:37am On Jun 01, 2007
luxoire:
my question to you guys now is this:
WE ALL KNOW RELIGIOUSLY / MORALLY abortion is wrong. CAN YOU FIND ANY OTHER REASON (other than those 2) TO JUSTIFY KEEPING A PREGNANCY, YOU COULDN'T HANDLY OR LIVE WITH?
@ twinsy
So we're now doing the part 2 of the thread, shey? grin

Well if you ask me, it could only be one more

THE FEARS AND DANGERS OF AN ABORTION

I know like you and haywhy said, it isn't that risky but lets take it to the African standard.

For some reasons unknown to me (maybe because in Nigeria f.ex. it easn't legal to abort), the girs and their boyfriends choose to go to a quack . . now we all know it takes an extra miracle for a girl who has been to the quack's to come out whole. Some end up dead, while most of the rest end up wombless or organly difigured cry

Most girls after witnessing or hearing such stories, would run for their dear lives, forgetting the chances of a successful abortion if done at a reputable hospital, the fears beaten into these girl make those aware of the possible success as scared as the rest, hence they'll rather bear the kid and put it up for adoption.

Coming to europe on the other hand, where morals and religion aren't really the order of the day, and they take doing abortion as light as going to get an injection, the girls carry out abortions on daily basis.
Esp. if they don't want the pregnancy, without blinking twice, the pregnancy is already gotten rid of sad

So i really do think that the talk of "abortion" being such an important topic lies in the four corners of Africa undecided

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: My Girl Friend Is A Lesbian by cuteass1(f): 12:18am On Jun 01, 2007
How can you be asking whether to move on with a lesbian?? shocked

Don't you love yourself at all??

the truth is that even if both of you mutually decide to keep going, sooner or later her real her will take over, and where does that leave you if you guys have gone far??
If she's a defined lesbian, I suggest you quit at the top of the game, and prevent both parties any future dissapointments and heart break and ruined dreams cry

If she's bisexual on the other hand, thats a different story. Your chances of loosing her to another lady will be pretty much the same chances of loosing your straight girl to a fellow guy, you just have to keep your fingers crossed, No one can predict tomorrow sad
