Ok

I know my voice is not that loud here but does anyone have an inkling as regards when Mutual Benefit is likely to go on suspension.

@Wanajo, I WILL LIKE A COPY OF THE SPREADSHEET.
It will be a blessing for me to get started on Naija fundamentalist thinking BTW I am both a fundamentalist and Speculator. Speculator for Naija stcok (cos I am not on ground nor have paid much attentio. Fundamentalist for Offshore)

@NBA,

Thanks for your quick response.
What about remitting money from Nigeria to UK.
Who has the best rate and how do you go about it.

Also if I need to give money to someone in Nigeria from my UBA account how do I do it.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Banks, Stockbrokers, And Services For Nigerians Abroad by cutebabe: 8:09pm On Nov 20, 2007
@NBA, thanks for this thread.

So in one word the better option so far is the UBA NRN SAVINGS AND VETIVA FOR STOCK BROKERS.

Is that correct.

I currently use LEADS but since they changed my customer service office it's been one kind. So I may diversify.

it will change our economy in the sense that things will be a little bit cheap; and so many inferior goods will be instincted; like cheap buscuits and so many other cheap things will be upgraded.
How can you say it will make things cheap when my salary has been equally divided by 100. The only difference is we will start talking of kobos and hundereds rather than million and thousands.

@ all,
i would like to know what excatly penny stocks are.

also, no one is saying anything about IBTC chattered bank.
can i have a heads up it.

should i buy
Penny stocks are small company stocks usually as the name suggest share price is between 50k to N6, they are not very liquid though. By all means buy IBTC that is if you find anyone who will sell to you but with Stanbic offering N16 per share (currently listed at N11) I doubt you will get any.

Oh boy I am going to claim my money back angry

poske:
In other not to fall into that shoe read the book and pray. I rest my case,
Can you imagine that you are suggesting that the way not to fall into the rat race is to read Kiyosaki's book and then pray that one na B******t, some folks are following the guy as if say na religion. $500 dollar seminar my foot when your friend, pastor, brother, mother, father aunty or uncle is preaching the very same thing your mind is switched off (a prophet has no honour in his own home)

I bet you that just by reading the advices on nairaland business section you will do much better with all the so many business ideas with the ways and hows to do it. Tips on stock market investment, banks to use e.t.c.

When you talk of business management there are so many books out there and so many people you can go and learn from, try being a protegee to someone successful. My uncle is very successfully and all he ever read was his former Managing Director's life learning from his success and mistakes now he is a force to be reckoned with.

The Sturvs site seemed preety cool.

My question though is how to ensure a blog's longeivity, there are so many lovely blogs which are now missing in action.

I just discovered blogging recently and I have become rather addicted to reading a lot of the Nigerian blogs it is like peeping into other people's world.

I have since started my own blog.

hello all

do you have any clue of where Firstinland bank is heading to?
I have asked my brokers the same question but they had no answer for me, they are waiting on the company results which is long overdue. A few people are wondering why it is taking so long and hence some have dumped the shares in jitters.
