brain54: Yam planting maybe…
With the right knowledge.
But fish business I have always thought to be unprofitable although never really practiced just watched from afar. But I think it’s not as profitable as people make it seem.
I think hatching of the fish is a little better in terms of profitability…
Just an opinion from the outside though! lol.. My brother. You reason this way because of the set backs of people. In that same fish business, people have cashed out massively because they followed simple instructions as well as God factor protecting their investments. Whether its poultry, fish, cow, yam, tomato, cucumber, groundnut or melon planting, As long as you pray, do the right thing, insure your investments, avoid pennywise poundfoolish habits, get trained before delving, seeking consultations from experts, agriculture will be profitable for you. But if you want to go into agriculture with a get rich quick mentality, you will loose everything. |

gokesoye: I lost my bank job last year.
Things have been so hard.
I am presently coping with a teaching job of 30k sorry about that. I'm in the banking sector too and i already have it at the back of my mind that my job is not permanent. This makes me to improve on personal development by taking up courses that will boost my cv and as well, setting up other profitable side hustles. The problem with many nigerians is that we get too comfortable in our paid jobs and think everywhere will be stew without contingency plans for the future. |

I coulda begged someone for the remaining #20 for top up or form money lost inside bus on motion but shame no gree me. I had to trek 40mins bus drive with legs - now Cutehector calculate the number of hours I used with my leggedis. loook young man. That i do not come online to beg on this forum doesn't mean i am rich/boastful, its all about standards as a person. You can never see me on nairaland begging because i have resolved never to do so. If ever i am short of cash, i have were to borrow money and as a person with principle, i do jobs and pay back my creditors on/before the stipulated time. Many nigerians do not have good credit score because they are not honest to themselves in terms of borrowing. Its all about character. |

Farfalla: The archetypal emotional kidnap.
She should marry the pastor out of fear of having her heart broken by other men? And what makes you think the pastor would not be the one to break her heart?
That pastor is just a predator taking advantage of a lonely, vulnerable woman. He's in fact colluded with his "spiritual father" to brainwash the OP into believing that there will be spiritual consequences should she reject his proposal.
Nothing will happen to her, same way nothing has happened to all the men who rejected girls they never connected with. ok you have made your point. My comment still stands |

detectivejones: If that man tell you the truckload of things in his head you'd be shocked. Please do not nag about his late nights, try to encourage and lift him with your words, also show interest in his work, be that person he can talk to about his job and challenges because most times Nigerian wives seem not to be interested in this thing and that is where the problem is. its because we men give them this false sense of entitlement that they are not meant to understand our struggles. Many fake ladies run away from me because they cannot keep up. To better understand what a man faces out there, i make these ladies get a job and pay bills. Yes you must pay bills, so that when you come back home looking so tired and worn out, only then you can come to my table and we can gist. |

Atarakpa: that's reason why we go for more mature now. In Nigeria today once you employ a person less than 40 be assure in less than 2 yrs he or she will japa. isnt it better to create a time stay contract deal with a younger person..that way you have more millenials to drive productivity and then they cant japa because of the legal binding. Access bank is doing it. |
