Liberia has released its LAST Ebola patient after going a week without any new cases of the virus, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Beatrice Yardolo, 58, left a Chinese-run treatment centre in the capital Monrovia after two weeks of treatment. Nearly 10,000 people have died from Ebola, the vast majority in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. WHO officials say there were 132 new cases in Guinea and Sierra Leone in the week to 1 March. It is the first time since May 2014 that Liberia has had no newcases of the virus, the officials added. Ms Yardolo, an English teacher, said she was "one of the happiest persons on earth" as she headed home from the treatment centre in Monrovia's Paynesville district. She was the last patient undergoing treatment for the disease in Liberia. 'Threat remains' But WHO officials have warned that populations are so mobile inthe region that there could easilybe fresh outbreaks in Liberia. "We look at the three countries as really a single country, so while it's good news that Liberia itself has no new cases, the populations are so mobile in thatregion that there could easily be re-importations of cases," said WHO spokesman Gregory Hartl. "We have to get down to zero in all three countries before we canconsider this thing beaten." Officials warn that the battleagainst Ebola in Liberia is by no means overThe final stage of testing of an experimental Ebola vaccine will begin in Guinea on 7 March, according to the WHO. WHO Director-General Margaret Chan said that if a vaccine is found to be effective, "it will be the first preventive tool against Ebola in history". A WHO news releasesays that the vaccinations will take place inareas of the Basse Guinee regionof Guinea, an area which has the highest number of cases in the country. The objectives of the trial are to assess whether a buffer zone can be established to stop further Ebola infections and to gauge its effectiveness among frontline Ebola workers. "An effective vaccine to control current flare-ups could be the game-changer to finally end this epidemic and [be] an insurance policy for any future ones," WHO Assistant Director-General Marie-Paule Kieny said.Medics are meanwhile getting ready to discharge the country's last confirmed Ebola patient in the Liberian capital Monrovia. The WHO says that Ebola vaccines could successfully end the epidemic. The country has to have no new cases for 42 days to be declared Ebola-free. In their latest assessment of the epidemic, WHO officials also warned that disease surveillance "may not be optimal" in Liberia because of the low number of samples. They say that some communities are still resisting pleas to bring infected family members to treatment centres. Only half of the 51 new infections in Guinea came from registered contacts of Ebola patients, the WHO says, and some cases are only identified after post-mortems are conducted. 'Unsafe burials continue' Ebola is still far from eradicated in Sierra Leone, which recorded 81 new cases, including 26 in the capital Freetown. "The number of confirmed Ebola virus disease deaths occurring in the community in Guinea and Sierra Leone remains high, suggesting that the need for early isolation and treatment is not yet understood, accepted or acted upon," the WHO statement said." Unsafe burials continue to occur, with 16 reports of unsafe burials in both Guinea and SierraLeone, respectively," it said. Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf on Tuesday called for a "Marshall Plan" for the Ebola-affected countries of West Africa. She was referring to the massive US aid programme for Europe launched after World War Two. Culled from BBC & www.facebook.com/hopesignatures

The police in Lagos state have arrested a Muslim cleric named Fatai Afobaje (pictured far left) for conniving with some of his friends including a security officer (middle) to kill and share the body parts of his bosom friend, 40 year old Kwara indigene, Rafiu Suleiman (pictured right) for money rituals at Oko Agbonla, Magbon in Badagry area of Lagos state on Friday February 13th. According to Punch, Alfa Fatai and Suleiman became friends after they met inside a public transport where Suleiman paid for the transport fare of Alfa Fatai as a mark of respect. After that, the two became friends. "The two men met in a commercial bus. Suleiman had offered to pay the transport fare of Afobaje after the conductor was about embarrassing him because he had no change. The Alfa then said he would like to know him better for being so gracious to him (Alfa). So, Suleiman gave the Alfa his address and asked him to visit. That was how the friendship started. From what we found out, Suleiman, who worked as a crane operator, would collect his salary and give half of it to Alfa at the end of the month and that happened for a long time.” a source who knew both men said Another source narrated how the late Suleiman was invited by Alfa Rafiu at about 8pm and how he connived with security guards in the area to kill and share the body part of his friend "As soon as the victim got to the street’s gate, the security guards surrounded him and asked who he was looking for. When he told them, they flogged him with charms and he died. They then called the Alfa to come and when he arrived, they shared his body parts. While one collected his head, another demanded all his intestines, while another asked for his breasts, which were given out.” the source said Brother to late Suleiman, Yinusa Wahab, said his brother's boss was the first to notify his wife of his absence from work. The wife then called him and prevailed on him to go in search of her husband at the Alfa's place where they went with policemen on Monday February 16th and found his mutilated finger inside a pot with few Naira notes and his headless body in a stream close to his house "We went to the house, but he was not around. We searched everywhere and didn’t see my brother. Later, we saw a mutilated corpse floating on a stream near the house. It was swollen and there was no head. The breast had been cut off. We went back to the house and as we looked around, I saw some fingers in a pot which were still being burnt and when I saw them, I could recognize that they belonged to my brother.” he said When interrogated, Alfa confessed to have worked in connivance with the Chief Security officer of his area named Tanko and 4 others to commit the crime "He was on his way to my house when he was killed. When I got there, he had been killed and then we shared his body. I urge my accomplices to also confess because the act has been uncovered and there is nothing we can do about it". he said The case has been transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation in Yaba, Lagos where Further investigations into the matter is ongoing. The naira lost N4 to the dollar to sell at N213 at the black market and N210 at the Bureau De Change (BDCs) segment of the official market. A dealer, who preferred anonymity, told NAN that the depreciation might not be unconnected with the closure of trading at the interbank market by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The dealer also said that the CBN’s decision, which was meant to control speculations in the market, might be responsible for the depreciation. Meanwhile the naira against the pound sold at N307 and N314 at the BDCs and black market respectively. However, it exchanged against the euro at N235at the BDCs, while it sold for N237 at the black market. On January 28, Godwin Emefiele, governor of the CBN, directed that only BDCs and banks with genuine demand for foreign exchange should get forex allocation. He said the apex bank put up measures to calm the strong volatility observed in the forex market to save the naira from further depreciation. It increased the weekly supply of dollars per BDC operator from 15,000 dollars to 30,000 dollars and also set aside extra 30,000 dollars to the BDC sector. The banking sector regulator said the move was part of measures to deepen the BDCs segment. Yet we are deceiving ourselves through the Federal Government that we are the largest economy in Africa. Let the FG come clean & explain more to us. We can't be the largest & our value will be depreciating Gotten from www.facebook.com/hopesignatures

#Health Like Mother, Like Daughter.... Like Father, Like Son ![]() Lol.... So Lupita Nyong’o shared a throwback photo of her mom from 1983. A question popped up. in my mind the very moment i saw the side~by~side picture of Lupita Nyong'o and a younger version of her mum. They are both basically twins & look very cute together. Very few people have this glorious luck. It is so in some families though. There are cases whereby a child looks EXACTLY like a younger version of a parent. And also, a child poses for a picture, twitches her mouth, and the picture comes out only to be discovered during a family abulm compilation that she struck EXACTLY the same pose like her mum & grandmum at that age. They say the world goes round... yes it does. The earth is geoid in shape & that ensures that it goes rotates & revolves. Putting aside the geographical factors now, i personally have a sister that doesn't resemble my mother at all! But she looks EXACTLY like one of my sisters. They look alike in complexion and everything. While my mum is on the ebony side of life, my sister is on the white side of life. Also, i've come to notice in my family that the first child might be dark, the next most certainly will be fair, then the next will be dark. The only thing you can attach my sister towards my mum's angle is the gap~teeth. Most of us come from homes where you or your sibling looks like one of your parent identically. Or they don't look like any but they look like a relation, be it a fellow sibling, aunt, uncle, nephew, etc.... If you look exactly like any of your parent, you are safe. I came across an article & i couldn't help but laugh out loud. It was in form of a question. In it the lady sounded scared. She said the son of her husband's brother looks identical to her husband. It intrigued me & i found out that she was not alone. Another woman said her husband freaks out because their child looks exactly like his brother. Some children even grow up & begin to worry "I no resemble papa, I no resemble mama, who i kan resemble? You sure say dem no adopt me?" Lol.... really, it is very much possible for you to have a child that looks like your in~law, so stop fidgeting. The truth is, it depends on the recessive gene. This fact is something that will make Gregory mendel's followers very happy. It all depends on whose gene pool. The gene pool is the set of all genes, or genetic information, in any population, usually of a particular species. Family resemblances can be highly unpredictable. But there are two things involved: It is possible your biological child might not look much like you. It is also possible that your wife might have gotten supplies from another filling station. If you are in the former section, you are pretty much safe, if you are in the later, you need to do a parental genetic test. Most men prefer the former though, especially when it comes to a child they love. Don't just depend on the physical traits though. Also consider other factors. There is the psychological & emotional part of it too. Despite this, there are men who have children with similar physical traits but once they touch this child, (s)he begins to cry loudly for no reason. It happens though. Just give the child time to grow up. Don't jump into hasty conclusions about the child. Take your time. It's not as if your wife cheated on you with your brother, just learn to bond. But if you have doubts, do carry out a DNA test (i advise without the knowledge of your partner in the first instance due to possible emotional stress). Some men prefer to protect the integrity of their family so they bottle up their doubts for years till the bubble bursts. For those who look luke their parents, kudos to you all. You are the beauty of your heritage! (Gotten from www.facebook.com/hopesignatures)

This is not the best of times for Ekiti workers as they face the test of choice over a presidential election marching order to attend President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign rally tomorrow in Ado-Ekiti, failure of which they should be prepared to forfeit their January salary. And so as Nigerians grapple with the tragedy of leadership over the years andthe opportunity presented by the February 14 election to support the leader who they believe is best suited to lead them out of the woods, Ekiti workers may not have the luxury of that constitutional liberty to support a leader well placed to lead them to the Promised Land. It's gathered that the maximum ruler in Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has sent out a circular ordering all state public school teachers, civil servants and their local government counterparts to attend the presidential campaign of PDP’s candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan, tomorrow. Attendance is compulsory and those who absent themselves do so at their own risk. A register is being opened at the entrance of the venue for workers to record their presence. Those who fail to turn up should be prepared to forfeit their January salary. It is now so bad that civil servants are compelled to attend political rallies such as the Jonathan Presidential campaign rally! Lol.... There is nothing like awoof in Nigeria. You can't collect his rice & go scottfree.

Attention seeking blogger, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo has been uncovered as a tool used in campaigning for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the coming election in the worst ways ever. Call this oppression, depression or bitterness, I call it modern slavery. It's high time Nigerians realise that she isn't who she claims to be. She's filled with lies. She goes about Nigeria, talking to & capitalizing on Hausa sellers, she insults them and tell them they Buhari is the reason for their failure. Some are bold enough to stand up to her but she gets upset, take pictures of them and post them online. Unfortunately for her, Nigerians were irked by her action this time around. I being fortunate to witness the events that unfolded that day must give special kudos to a young man by the name Derick,.who stood up to her and put her in her place. She posted the picture of the Hausa seller that stood his ground and supported Buhari for a change on facebook, with the caption: "#GMB15 #BUHARI supporter, 17, sells carrots and fruits on the streets, no education, no future." Her reference to the young man to be without future vexed facebook users. Here is the best reply she got from a young man Derick. "He supports Buhari 'cause he wants Change! & all this while GEJ hasn't shown any sign of that. Don't mock anyone, your children might end up worse than him. You think he has no future, wait the next ten years out, your children don't seem to have a future either, and that's because of you." Kemi got so angry and insulted him, blasting him and using vulgar languages. but this mature dude handled her well. Mocking her bad grammar and sent facebook users laughing, when he pointed out her blunders. I was so impressed and made it a point of duty to expose her the more. Kemi is a bully, a blackmailer, a liar. She calls herself "God". And jubilates at other people's failure. She posts pictures of people she hates and accuses them. Once she approached a young man to be her "Sugarbobo", He declined and she accused him of rape. She accuses ladies too. Has no regard for God & men of God. Her hatred for Pastor E.A Adeboye is something else. Nigerians should stop paying attention to her. Is this the change she is clamouring for? I must state here that Nigerians are not comfortable with some extreme measures most PDP supporters are employing. Bullying people just to get their votes is not a positive step to enhancing this nation. Kemi has to be called to order. Her lies against her own family are appaling. Say NO to cyberbullying! Say NO to Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo and her cohorts
