my source told me that they are doing background check on everybody that passed the interview. so if you met the requirements, just be relaxed and hope for a better outcome . you have nothing to worry about if your NYSC certificate is genuine, your school result and its grade is also genuine. if you know your grade is third class and your edited it to be second class upper just know that you have eliminated yourself.despite the fact that your nysc certificate is genuine. if you have second class lower and you edited your result to be second class upper just know that you are out. thats the information i have for all of you.
we should be calm as every officer sent for result verification to various schools will return with their findings and if all the information you provided is genuine,i think you have nothing to worry about.
he went further to tell me that the reason for them to go and do background check before you are employed is to avoid waste of time to get people to fill the impostors' position and also waste of resources. because if they employ an impostor they will find out later and if they do he or she will be dismissed leaving the position empty or the quota empty which will make them bring someone who is not trained from the beginning to make up the number and its not good for ICPC. so they want to take their time to conduct all the neccessary checks before rolling out appointment letters.
so anybody telling you that the list is ready for now is lieing and giving you false hopes such as cyberthief and flavour

The ICPC just like most government organisations, pay staffs according to levels, and ranks. An entry level staff in ICPC earns around ₦74,000 per month, which amounts to ₦888,956 per annum. Of course, staffs are also entitled to allowances, and this is paid with regards to the rank in each level of the organisation.

Every successful applicant was interviewed yesterday except few that didn't come with their original documents or had another issue and were scheduled for today (very few)! According to the official no more interviews or stage(so likely next is for either medical/appointment letter collection/documentation)

3 months Training is to commence at that Academy at Keffi from first week of October for the successful ones after which they would go for another 2months training at Kaduna/Kano on riffle handling/shooting for self defense.

Successful applicants would soon hear from them probably before next week ends according to one official

Could physique be a determinant of selection
Since they are gonna be trained on handling of rifles?
Most forces that deal with arm do consider height and physique

O.p pray you get the job first, that place is very tight to enter. The salary scale is CONPSS, just like the ministry, level 8 is 56-60k there about. But the thing is there's alot of career prospects there, once you reach level 12 foreign posting don start be that with alot of estacode. All the best.

Level 9 step 7 earns N83,637 In all the ministry including foreign affairs. But with harmonisation coming every graduates are likely to earn the same pay except people who seemingly work in risk prone environment.
