Politics › Re: Questions On Biafra by Cyberthreat: 10:28am On Jul 20, 2015 |
kengreatleads: With the emergence of Radio Biafra, the issue of the Biafra seems to have generated much agitation among Nigerians dividing the nation into two: it’s either you’re Pro-Biafra or Anti-Biafra. One of my friends recently raised an alarm concerning a Biafra fanatic threatening to kill him for being Anti-Biafra, isn’t that pathetic? Well that’s by the way, so I was having a conversation with an avid Pro-Biafra Igbo friend and somehow the Biafra issue came up. I asked her these simple questions:
Can the Biafra thrive if given a chance?
If Biafra emerges, who has more to lose, Nigeria or Biafra?
Before you give answers to my questions, permit me to give you a brief story involving Sudan. The people of the Dafur region of Sudan (now Southern Sudan) believed they deserve to stand alone by becoming independent. They fought tooth and nail until they eventually got their coveted freedom from Sudan. Fine, they got what they wanted; Southern Sudan became a country on its own. While the world was still congratulating them on their independence, leadership crisis emerged among the two ethnic groups (Dinka and Nuer) that make up the newly formed Southern Sudan. Today, Southern Sudan may be free from a lot of things; crisis is not one of them.
Now let’s go back to the Biafra concept. If formed, the Biafra will comprise majorly the South-East and likely the South-South part of Nigeria. The South-East will form the majority in terms of population while the oil rich South-South the minority. Please consider the composition of Biafra carefully pondering over this question: How certain are we that Biafra will not encounter the same leadership crisis currently tormenting Southern Sudan?
http://www.amebojoint.com/2015/07/questions-on-biafra_20.html we are running away from terrorism..so even if there is political crisis there(which i dont think there will be). We wont have terrorists who will be taking people's life anyhow... Hope av answered ur question |

Politics › Re: We Will Make Boko Haram Beg For Peace – Nigeria’s Army Chief by Cyberthreat: 8:18am On Jul 20, 2015 |
Franchise21: Nigeria’s new Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, on Sunday said under his command, Boko Haram would either beg for peace or face the wrath of highly motivated and combat ready soldiers. The Borno State-born Major General, who took over command of the nation’s army last week, said he was ready to lead soldiers to the dens and enclaves of the insurgents. He, therefore, re-christened the operational code of the counter insurgency efforts from “Operation Zaman Lafiya” to “Operation Zaman Lafiya Dole” – which in Hausa means ‘the quest for peace becomes a must’. Mr. Buratai, who was in neighbouring Yobe State to celebrate the Islamic eid-el-fitri festival with Nigerian troops, moved to Borno on Sunday afternoon. He arrived Maiduguri by road and was received by the Borno State Deputy Governor, Zannah Mustapha, who immediately accompanied the army boss to visit the 103 Battalion of the 7 Division, Maiduguri in Konduga Town where they met the troops and hailed their courage and gallantry. In his address, the army chief called for general collaboration amongst the troops and other security agencies as well as the general public in curtailing activities of the Boko Haram. He stressed that without the synergy of intelligence amongst all security forces, it would be difficult to defeat Boko Haram whose insurgency has caused the death of over 15,000 people since 2009. “The ongoing activities of Boko Haram is assuming an alarming dimensions in Borno state and other parts of the north east,” he said. “We will not tolerate the killing of citizens and destruction of property; in as much as we urge you (troops) to adhere strictly to human rights abuses, the time to crush Hoko Haram and other criminal activities in this country is now or never.” Mr. Buratai further told the soldiers that “as Chief of Army Staff, I will be actively involved in this ‘Operation Zaman Lafiya Dole’ to end the madness of Boko Haram if I will have your collective maximum support and cooperation. “My doors will always remain open to all of you for constructive criticism and advice towards restoration of peace in this part of the country. “Therefore, we are here to identify with you and to officially inform you that as from today henceforth, we have changed our Operational Code from ‘Operation Zaman Lafiya’ to ‘Operation Zaman Lafiya Dole’. Earlier in his address, the Deputy Governor thanked the Army Chief and the General Officers Commanding 7 and 3 Divisions for “taking their time to visit the state to see the gallant troops”. He promised that “the state government will continue to support the military and other security agencies in the fight against Boko Haram that have sacked almost 22 local government areas of the state with thousands of people mostly villagers killed and millions displaced”. Mr. Buratai later paid a courtesy visit to the of the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Elkanemi, where he informed the monarch about his new mission for the state. “We will reinforce the security. The government is not happy about the insecurity in the northeast. It is our desire to have a responsible and professional army that is responsive in the discharge of its duty. “We will need the support of the royal father and the people of Borno so that we will ensure peace returns here. “Since Boko Haram terrorists have refused peace (Zaman Lafiya), we will now force them to accept peace,” he said. “The peace that permeated Borno and transcended Lake Chad will soon return. My wish was to clear Konduga of Boko Haram vestige so that people can return home to rebuild their houses,” the army chief added. In his response, the Shehu of Borno said, “Boko Haram was not initiated by Borno people but those who came to live from neighbouring states. “Most of the people of Borno are either farmers or traders, very accommodating and receptive.” He noted that “the challenges of managing the IDPs was enormous and nothing could be better than ending the security situation.” He pledged to support the military in the discharge of its duties.

Politics › There Is A Big Difference Btw A Freedom Fighter And A Thief- Article by Cyberthreat(op): 9:43pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
This Article goes to those unrepentant Idiots, greedy, jealous and myopic IGBO people who were doing nothing to liberate our people from this bondage creation of a Hell called Nigeria, but busy castigating the Lords Chosen unadulterated (Prince Nnamdi Kanu) the brave Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra, The Commander of Biafra LOYAL ARMED FORCES worldwide. It's in record that since (Prince Nnamdi Kanu) the Leader of #IPOB worldwide started this great movement of Biafra restoration, not a single soul has been lost, Because of his Great sense of humor, he was able to coordinate Biafran’s all over the world, it’s a second to non- system of freedom fighting ever done by any one before him ,and i bet not even after him can someone achieve such in million years to come, he built a firewall against disobedient ,embezzlement of funds in the struggle, anyone found guilty of insubordination and sabotage was discharged and dismissed with immediate effect. No second chance for such people in the leadership of the struggle as a coordinator or principal officers of any post. We never count any loss of lives and Properties within the #IPOB and Nigeria Government under the leader of this Great Chosen Prophet and orator of our time. Example, On 30th of May, Uwazuruike with his Group gathered in Owerri and out of 2,000 Massob members that gathered about 68 of them were arrested by Nigeria state security agent in IMO state, due to ill-mannered act and hooliganism within the group, It is also in record that on same day in Abia state commercial city of ABA, Over 3 million Biafran's gathered to witness our 30th of May HEROES Day, and no single soul was arrested, not even a mobile phone was lost, this has proved that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is whiter than white and whiter than snow. His hardworking and resilience spirit has taken this struggle to a ground where the whole world is now talking about Radio Biafra. Any Igbo man speaking against him and Radio Biafra is simply an enemy of Biafra and friend of Hausa/Fulani Yoruba Oligarchy. I want to sound this as a warning Note to NIGERIA GOVERNMENT that any attempt to arrest this Man will Spell DOOM for each and every one of them including their family members from A to Z and the country in GENERAL, Because the THIRD WORLD WAR will start from that contraption called Nigeria. We the Indigenous people of Biafra are UNEQUIVOCALLY seeking for our freedom, we the oppressed people of Biafra should be left alone to govern ourselves and develop our region as a people. Our sovereignty is nonnegotiable. Right now Radio Biafra is now the number One most listened Radio Station in the world ahead of BBC. Those that castigated him saying that he is into this struggle for his personal money making like Uwazuruike did must have been put to shame by now. It’s on record that 85 Massob members under Uwazuruike's watch were killed and dumped in Ezu River, pictures attached. Can people like (Joe Igbokwe) or any reasonable human being show the world where and how (Prince Nnamdi Kanu) has betrayed this struggle? if none may his days be long, may God enlarge his coast, may his effort and doggedness towards this struggle bring safety unto him and his family, and any man who think of evil against him so shall evil befall him, anyone that rise against him both through writing and audio messages shall die a shameful death because there is no how a tree can wash through a forest without bringing down trees, anyone comparing this GREAT man with the Criminal, kidnapper and killer himself Ralph Uwazuruike must have brain damage, Uwazuruike is a liar that claim to be a Lawyer, Read bellow and pass your judgment. Excerpts...... Igbo youths to police: Uwazurike ordered murder of 18 Ex-MASSOB members POSTED BY SEGUN ADEBOWALE ON NOVEMBER 10, 2013 IN FEATURED, NEWS | LEAVE A RESPONSEAIYO alleged that the 18 murdered youths were among the thousands who resigned from MASSOB when it was obvious that Uwazurike had turned the separatist outfit into a money spinning business empireThe Association of Igbo Youths has alleged that the leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, ordered the murder of 18 members of the association for failing to return to MASSOB.AIYO alleged that the 18 murdered youths were among the thousands who resigned from MASSOB when it was obvious that Uwazurike had turned the separatist outfit into a money spinning business empire. The murdered youths were said to have asked MASSOB to stop all violent activities in Anambra State or face the music. This allegation was contained in a petition by AIYO to the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 9, Umuahia, Abia State. It was dated November 1, 2013.The group alleged in its petition, signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Chukwuemeka James Ugah, and the Anambra State Coordinator, Odinikpo Ananwude: 1. That they were former members of MASSOB who worked very closely with Chief Ralph Uwazurike and therefore know him very well. 2. That Chief Ralph Uwazurike misled them with the falsehood that within few months or years Biafra will be a sovereign state, where all their sufferings in Nigeria will be a thing of the past. 3. That Chief Ralph Uwazurike instead of actualising Biafra swindled Ndi-Igbo of millions of Naira. In 2007, those of them who found out that MASSOB is a farce formed AIYO and registered same with the Corporate Affairs Commission. 4. That Chief Ralph Uwazurike uses MASSOB to dupe politicians and unsuspecting members of the public and that evidence is legion. 5 That when they confronted Chief Ralph Uwaurike following inexplicable sufferings, he dismissed them with the statement that MASSOB is for himself and members of Chief Ralph Uwazurike’s family and that they should go and form their own organisation. 6. That many members of MASSOB who died during one MASSOB activity or another, particularly in 2003 and 2006, are still in mortuaries, particularly Owerri Road Mortuary, Onitsha, Anambra State. 7. That Chief Ralph Uwazurike boasts that he is above the law in Nigeria and that no person or government can question him for any reason, even if he kills or orders the killing of anybody. 8. That on the 14th of July, 2013, members of MASSOB on the orders of Chief Ralph Uwazurike attacked and killed about 18 members of AIYO because they refused to return to MASSOB. 9. That Chief Ralph Uwazurike and his cohorts on several occasions violently infringed on their fundamental human rights (freedom of association) by forcing them violently to become MASSOB members, even inflicting injuries on them, while illegally detaining them. In the same vein, the Assistant National Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Barrister Emejulu Okpalaukwu, also alleged that Uwazurike ordered his abduction to the MASSOB Headquarters in Okwe, Anambra State. In another petition addressed to the AIG Zone 9 and the Governors of Abia and Anambra States, Okpalaukwu alleged that Uwazurike was after his life for assisting AIYO present a paper through which the group streamlined Igbo interests on October 30, 2013 at Umuahia to the Presidential Advisory Committee on National Dialogue. Those who signed the second petition with Okpalaukwu and whose lives were allegedly threatened included Ogugua Iweka, Ifeanyi Ojadi, John Nweke and Anthony Ifediora. Politics › Boko Haram Take Down Surveillance Plane In Borno by Cyberthreat(op): 6:51pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
Last week a military plane allegedly carrying foreign mercenaries was shot down by suspected Boko Haram terrorists in Borno state. However, this news did not make headlines.Investigations by Sahara Reporters threw little more light on the incident. Below, rea what we know and what we do not know at the moment. 1. Who was on board? Five Ukrainian mercenaries and a Nigerian pilot were allegedly on board. The foreign soldiers did not survive, while the pilot reportedly suffered critical injuries and might be alive. The Embassy of Ukraine in Abuja did not comment on the issue, and recommended enquirers to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. 2. What was the purpose of the flight? The aircraft was most likely a surveillance plane that was carrying out reconnaissance and photographing over Sambisa forest, a notorious stronghold for the Islamist Boko Haram sect. 3. Do the terrorists really have anti-air capabilities? The plane was most-likely hit by a ZU-23-2 twin anti-air gun. It is capable of engaging low-flying targets at a range of 2.5 km. Terrorists possess many of them, and can shoot a plane easily, especially during take off and landing. 4. What the Nigerian military have to say The spokesperson of the Nigerian Air Force, Comodore Alonge, said he was not aware of the crash. The spokesperson of the Nigerian Army, Colonel S.K Usman, promised to reply later, but he had not done it for more than 48 hours after the initial request. Two other officials at the Defence headquarters in Abuja refused to discuss the alleged air crash. According to the report by Sahara Reporters, the Nigerian military maintains an air unit composed of mercenaries and foreign specialists of all kinds. This unit is distinct from the NAF, to the point that the two are often in conflict over air operations in the north east. Politics › Re: NBC: We’ve Seized Radio Biafra’s Transmitter by Cyberthreat: 3:37pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
neolboy: The National Broadcasting
Commission (NBC) says it has
“effectively neutralised the illegal
broadcasts from the seditious
pirate radio station”, Radio
Biafra.
In a statement issued on Friday
by Emeka Mba, the NBC DG, the
commission said it had also
arrested suspected masterminds
who are currently being
interrogated in Abuja.
The station has been advocating
secession of the south-east from
Nigeria.
Mba said: “Working with security
operatives, the Commission has
also tracked down, neutralised
and confiscated transmitter
equipment from several
locations in the region. Some
suspects involved in the illicit
broadcasts have also been
arrested and taken to Abuja for
questioning and prosecution.
“The Commission has also
worked with other agencies to
remove the transmissions of the
illegal station from the satellite,
and this has put paid to the
divisive and disruptive
transmissions. We are working on
the Internet transmissions.
“The National Broadcasting
Commission wishes to appreciate
the concerns expressed by
Nigerians over the seditious
activities of the illegal ‘Biafra
Radio’ transmitting hate
messages that are unfortunately
designed to create disunity
among Nigerians and mislead
young people in a deliberate act
of subversion. Nigerians do not
need another round of heartache
and bloodshed.
“The Commission reiterates its
calls to the public to disregard
the hate messages coming from
the misguided station, and urges
Nigerians to unite in joining
hands with the government to
build a stronger and more
prosperous nation.”
Recent claims by NBC that it had
jammed the signals of the station
proved to be untrue but this
latest effort seemed to have been
successful.
TheCable reported on Friday
morning that suspects had been
arrested and the broadcasts had
been effectively blocked.
But the promoters of the station
have promised to open 50 more
despite the crackdown.

EnergyWA: In the last few weeks, there has been steady but improved power generation. The reason for this is simply the sharp reduction in gas pipeline vandalization since the new administration took over. The new government at its inception cancelled contracts that gave certain groups the authority to protect pipelines and handed this responsibility to the country's security forces. This could be one of the reason. Another factor could be a natural consequence of some powerful people involved in vandalization losing power.
Nigeria can generate as much as 6,000MW if vandalization can be completely stopped Kai... Jesus! U don turn vanguard |
