Politics / Nigeria’s Presidential Election: Multiple Polls Predict Winner by d18thday: 2:50am On Feb 23, 2019
President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will be engaging in a final battle of who leads Nigeria in the presidential election scheduled for tomorrow.

President Buhari overcame the power of encumbency when he defeated former President Goodluck Jonathan to emerge President in 2015.

While many Nigerians believe that the 2015 event which reasured the world of the stability and growth of democracy in the country, may repeat again, others feel it would be difficult for Atiku and the PDP to defeat Buhari and his All Progressives Congress party.

There is a masculine approach to your writing cause ladies don't have such splendid sense of humour. What gave your sex away though was when you said, "oshey dear". Guys don't generally say that (dont know why although there are few exceptions) and I'm guessing this isn't one of them, so I checked again and the writung still resonated a masculine vibe. So, u don see the phone buy?

Oh, how so happy any girl reading this would be now. Oh, u're not a girl, but a woman?! I dint realize. Here's one thing, Myne White is either a boy or a girl, certainly not a man nor a woman n i aint talking age...

Yno, Internet is really cheap... Am i d only one dat piss at how gurls could be most times, sorry i meant women smiley actually both. Here's one simple logic. If men are boys, then women are girls...n i know im a man. Both genders av their general flaws. Think abt that!

Whenever anyone says that NOUN graduates aren't considered in the labour market, I ask myself, "what does that even mean?". The labour market isn't owned by one man. It's a gigantic place where different things happen. Discrimination, politics and what nots are some of the ugly things we have only evident in d government sectors. If you think your only hope of earning sth out of the economy is with the government, then u abide by their rules...but if you think above that, then you play by your own rules, which should imply common sense. NOUN makes you valuable and just as good to go if not better than someone at OAU or Unilag or whatever. You only need to present yourself well and obviously, you need to know where to tread. If you can stay off government rubbish, pls do and make your life better. I know a NOUN graduate that is making his millions, but he's self employed anyways. That is what he knew to do and he's a class web designer cos he read Computer science at NOUN.

Sule james: Great nounite! I wish to obtain noun admision form dis year but people said that d schl is nt aceptable in d labour market pls convince me

Yno I'm getting really tired of hearing this. Look, you need to know what you want. NOUN offers you a form of knowledge that you can get in any other reasonable institution, except now it's at a flexible rate and it's more difficult because you teach yourself. After you acquire this knowledge and you've proven it by passing through to the end, you'll be awarded a degree and then you'll be useful. Communities and groups that need your knowledge for services will come for you. Don't let any ignorant person deceive you. If you question the efficiency of what you get at NOUN, then I assure you that NOUN is just as tough and as ledgit as it can get. The best is here too.

Computers / Re: BEST MODEM In Nigeria:the Guides To "Which Modem Is The Best To Use In Nigeria?" by d18thday: 3:53pm On Jan 07, 2013
Hello. Good post. However, there's one thing i'd love to consider, Cost of subscription. It's quite expensive subscribing for most of these internet plans or bundles esp the etisalat easyblaze. One question tho'... which is better, going for modem in the multilinks, visafone range or going for the mtn, airtel range of modems...or swift once n for all?

legalwealth: Fellow nairalanders! !!

A common question that comes to the mind of prospective

buyers of internet modem today is "which modem do i buy?" as we can see at a thread here on nairaland that was created yesterday with title "Which Modem Is The Best To Use In Nigeria?" which you can read more about here at

https://www.nairaland.com/927946/which-modem-best-use-nigeria

where I answered a lot of questions pushed forward by people and I now decided to make research and come up with this thread to answer most quetions posted therein

which further leads to which modem is the best available modem in Nigeria. out of a variety of modems....
GLO modem
Etisalat Modem
zain/airtel
starcomms
zoom
universal modem
and other modems

As you would have guessed I advise you to buy the cheapest cost effective modem available to you.
most of these modem packs perform exactly the same function and no problem with the effectivity on the basic function i.e browsing.
However some modems have additional abilities e.g with the Glo modem you can make calls on your computer(that is if you re interested)
It is also worth mentioning that unlocking some modems to accept other network sim cards for browsing might be a problem(e.g some MTN modems)

Thirdly, if will personally not advise you to buy any modem that costs more than N5500, there are cheaper and effective ones out there.

It will be better to buy your device from the network providers through their authentic distributors
and lastly after acquring your internet modem device Unlock it so that you can use other networks(remember unlocking of the modem is a simple and free process)

unlocking starcomms CDMA modem

unlocking modems i.e i modems is no news, however unlocking starcomms epivalley modem and starcomms neo modem (or other CDMA modems) to enable the use of mtn , glo zain data card for browsing has been a question that many has asked.
starcomms izap and one x modem or neo modem is of a different technology from the common huawei 3g/hspda/edge modem used by mtn , etisalat .so 3g modem unlocking with huawei unlocker or zte unlocker is diferrent.
so the sad news for now , as of the time of this writiing is that you cannot use a CDMA modem to access the common data cards used by other networks since it is of a different technlogy huawei unlocker does not work onit and even if the modem unlocking works, you can only use CDMA data cards on it.
so if your plan in buying an i modem(internet modem) is unlocking modem and using for the other networks , then you need to think twice before picking a starcomms epivalley modem or neo modem.
For free huawei unlocker or zte unlocker that will help you in your personal modem unlocking, check the next topic below:

Get huawei unlocker and zte Modem unlocker for FREE
It's a common fact now that unlocking modems is now childs play, you can unlock modems on your own using the huawei unlocker and zte unlocker
which I am willing to give to you free ...only if you request. you can request for the modem unlocking software (huawei unlocker or zte unlocker) by posting your request here and you shall be ushered in to the unlocking modems ritual.

Goodluck and feel free to ask me any question whatsoever by dropping it below smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley
