Networks reassigns numbers all the time. I've called my old Airtel number before and a male voice answered it. If I had connections like Hanan and had gotten the person arrested, the poor man would have been made to suffer for nothing.

If networks reassign numbers all the time, then what is the point of NCC's campaign warning Nigerians not to buy pre-registered sim cards? Well, I'm happy MTN is included in this suit. Let them come and explain themselves before somebody else suffers unnecessarily.

I'm glad MTN is included in this suit. We keep doing SIM registration, yet they seem to never have the data available when required. How can a second individual register a pre-registered sim card without it being flagged by the telco? I just don't get it.

It is not the failure of Jonathan's own security failure or not that is being discussed; he obviously has armed security men and I believe that he has some security technology attached to his home too as ex president. The point here is that, this reckless government could be behind the whole security breach and maybe not. I hope you didn't miss this part where he said "My cautious approach is based on the diabolical precedents of this tyrannical Buhari government".

And yes, it is possible. Yesterday, some armed thugs representing the president went to disrupt a peaceful protest by people campaigning for freedom and rule of law. Thieves went to kill a soldier and some armed security and you don't want people to raise questions such as the one Gbadamosi raised. I don't necessarily agree to his views and theory, but this is called the public sphere where every theory is in the open and discussed.

Don't tell people to keep quiet. I would rather you suggest plausible explanations and nuances to what has happened.

We live in repressive times, and anything can happen.

Thanks for your comment. However, you do note that I said "jetties", referring to more than one. Except you are suggesting that MTN built all the jetties in Lagos. Most of them are being built through public-private partnerships ant LASG is very much involved.

Sometimes, it's the madness that goes on in our universities and not a lack of intelligence on the students part. I have a friend who graduated with a 3rd class in Naija, but currently has a M.Sc and Ph.D from an American University, in the same field of study.

This is the first season VAR is being used in the EPL and it's not even halfway yet. Seriously you can't draw a conclusion from an incomplete season.

Besides, Harry Kane scored 30 league goals two seasons ago, but only managed 17 last season. That had nothing to do with VAR. Your argument would hold more weight looking at total goals scored in the league as opposed to focusing on individual players.

This can increase a strikers chances if he is also the teams designated PK taker. But yes, it may reduce the number of goals scored across the league in total.

I stopped reading when I got to where it was claimed dangote cement rejected in Benin Republic. That's a complete lie, Benin has been exporting cement from China, they don't buy dangote cement.

The report is actually wishy washy. I was expecting to see real business people speaking and mentioning the goods they export. Instead, it's interviews with the CEO's of one Academy and another institute.
