madridguy: Your head dey there. But for me there was only one. Our loss to Italy at USA 94. That night I cried ehn. Since then, never again. No matter how painful, I get over it immediately. And for all those who like to ask "Where is Chrisantus? Where is Rabiu Ibrahim?" Sinama Pongolle and Anthony Le Tellec were stars for France at U17 o. Liverpool even signed them. Byt they never progressed to become stars at senior level. I always say it's not peculiar to Nigeria, and it is not always down to being over-aged. 1 Like |

RTSC: Your assertion is kinda faulty though. And this is because the make up the senior team of these countries will not be exactly the same in five years time for several reasons. One being that, not every player who shines at U17 will develop to the senior team whether real age or over aged. Examples of this abound in every country. |

emsco: This is not peculiar to Nigeria. People are always quick to mention Toni Kroos. But how many of his U17 teammates went on to play for Germany at senior level? Truth is, most U17 teams produce between 1-3 players who go on to excel for their country at senior level. The rest just disappear into their local or foreign leagues. |

They will most likely not refund your cash but should credit it against your next subscription, and you'll just pay the balanc to make 6,800. Something like that happened to me. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Jodera: I can't entirely blame them. The initial examples were not exactly contradictory, especially when you understand the context in which Jesus and Paul spoke. Even I was beginning to get irritated by the write up, but decided to see what the OP planned to end his analysis with, and then realized what he was actually trying to achieve. I think it would have helped if he had stated somewhere at the beginning that his aim was trying to disprove an existing misconception. Just like you would do when writing a project or term paper. People get very sensitive when it comes to matters of their fate, and it seemed the OP was trying to create contradictions were many people didn't see any. |

unstoppable51: It might help if you edit your post and add a line at the beginning stating that you plan to show that the teachings of Jesus and Paul are not contradictory as thought by some. It's a long post and the examples given at the start are actually somewhat annoying, and may deter people from reading further without getting your true intentions. This explains the reaction of many. 1 Like |

Goldicon2: Even if they can accommodate them, do they also have enough security personnel to protect them? The last thing you want is hundreds of Nigerian citizens situated in one location like sitting ducks without adequate protection if the mad xenophobic folks decide to attack. The SA police have clearly shown that they are not capable or willing to protect them. |

ithink7: If only some of you will use Google app on your phone with the same frequency you use Nairaland. The title chief of staff (or head of staff) identifies the leader of a complex organization, institution, or body of persons and it also may identify a principal staff officer (PSO), who is the coordinator of the supporting staff or a primary aide-de-camp to an important individual, such as a president, or a senior military officer, or leader of a large organization. In general, a chief of staff provides a buffer between a chief executive and that executive's direct-reporting team. The chief of staff generally works behind the scenes to solve problems, mediate disputes, and deal with issues before they are brought to the chief executive. Often chiefs of staff act as a confidante and advisor to the chief executive, acting as a sounding board for ideas. Ultimately the actual duties depend on the position and the people involved. Go and watch Netflix's House of Cards and understand the role a Chief of Staff plays better. Joystark: God bless you. Sometimes we fight the wrong things. Rather than demanding accountability and efficiency, some people are arguing ignorantly over what is the norm in every sane society |

FarahAideed: I don't know about surpassing any other minister, but you also know that power generation is not only about on-grid power alone. There are a lot of off-grid power solutions that are being put in place through the Rural Electrification agency. Off-grid power is being provided for federal universities, teaching hospitals, markets etc. The power sector has been unbundled giving room for alternative power generating options. Independent Power Projects are ongoing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwqhof_canE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYUEyKBsTaA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIoMc-iA8Xg |
