Are you aware though that there are several off-grid power initiatives that have been introduced which are currently providing power to federal universities, popular markets and teaching hospitals?

For a repeat offender? It's too small sef. Should have given the bagger 7 years plus compulsory anger management sessions.

Interesting, not too young to run in play. I hope 2023 Buhari will hand over to an under 40 president

If Nigerians vote for one and don't tell them to go and start from councillor or local government chairman, I'm sure PMB won't have a choice.

Also there us something I would like to say, some people where busy saying one should be careful if what one says online cos DSS etc will track u bla bla bla, so now that the DSS etc have few tech that could help track criminals "crminals" wouldn't it be a criminal offense to deplore such techs in their possession against citizens who are unhappy with the way the gvt governs and finds a voice in social media cos we can't risk our lives to protest as they do in advance countries?

power corrupts absolute power corrupts absolutely, that is the case we are facing in this country at the moment

Most definitely. If such technology is used to intimidate the opposition or silence govt critics, it is a gross abuse of power and the judiciary should ideally throw such a case out. Problem is, even our judiciary is corrupt.

This is the kind of educated illiterates we have on Nairaland. The fact that you got over 300likes on this makes it more baffling.

If you studied the affidavit very well you will know that the primary email address used for the scam was not linked to invictusObi until it was found on Nairaland. It was on Nairaland that the face was seen and it was through Nairaland that they got the link to his twitter page, from twitter to his instragram page.

Without this Nairaland post, they’d just be chasing after shadows cos they wouldn’t be able to link it to his twitter and Instagram from where they monitored his movements and linked his hospital record to his email.

Gbam. Without that link, they'd be chasing shadows.

The title of this thread is misleading and that is what is causing the disagreement. His Nairaland post and profile actually helped FBI to put a name to the fraudster they were investigating and then his subsequent arrest. However, his Nairaland post did not led to his arrest. His fraudulent activities led to his arrest.

Lol. Ultimately, if you don't do the crime, you won't do the time. grin However, there are many fraudulent people walking free. Even the FBI have unresolved cases. So engaging in fraudulent activities doesn't automatically lead to an arrest. Get my drift?

even if there is no twitter, nairaland or insta in the picture they would still get him his legitimate email which was under investigation was also linked to his businesses which I believe must have been registered and used for transactions, with his business in the picture alone his home address everything would be revealed, his arrest must have occurred anywhere in the world

Not entirely correct. The email alone can't provide a solid case. They had an email "obiwanne@gmail.com that was traced to be linked to the iconclast email that was key to the fraud, but it doesn't indicate much. He could claim it was hacked.

What his Twitter and IG did was place him at the scene of the crime. He posted on IG that he was in Seychelles at the same period one of the fraudulent transactions emanated from an IP address in Seychelles. Also posted about being in Washington DC at the same time another fraudulent mail emanated from the same DC.

HIs social media activity sealed the deal.

you are not getting it. His social media accounts were just to corroborate the fact that he is fraudulent. What led to his arrest is his fraudulent dealing with Unatrac. If Unatrac kept quiet like the other shoe company he defrauded, nobody would have arrested him even if he made 1 million nairaland posts!!! What led to his arrest was the report Unatrac made to FBI and not his post on Nairaland!!!

Uncle stop arguing this thing. Did the Unatrac report put a face to the culprit? NO. All it did was indicate that a fraud had been commited. The email that was eventually discovered to be behind the fraud was faceless until it led to obiwanne on Nairaland, where is Twitter account was then identified and subsequently Instagram.

The essence of this age group competition is to discover young talent but after the competition, most of them never make it to the senior team. I think we need to work on this. If the team stay together after the competition and just injecting a few more players, we should be able to raise a team that can go places in the senior world cup.

This is not peculiar to Nigeria though. Most times only a handful of players make it to the senior team from each set of age grade teams. Often 3-5 at most.

Hi guys, my fiancee & i have been together for years now & preparation is on for our wedding later this year, the relationship has been fantastic, but there is this very big 'BUT' about my fiancee, & as a matter of fact she sees it as nothing or no issue at all, but this Same thing is giving me real headache & sleepless nights because i really do love her & i do know for sure that i cannot cope with it.

The problem now is my fiancee has a very low sex drive, she is not in any way interested in sex at all, it's not as if i love sex too much but at least i enjoy sex as every other human being should, so her lack of interest in sex is a very big issue for me, i have talked to her about it & tried everything within my reach to solve the problem but all to no avail because she is seeing it as no biggie.

Please guys what else can i do to increase har libido? because that's the only thing I see as solution.

Is there any medication or herbs you guys can recommend for me that will definitely increase her sex drive?

Have you done enough to put her in the mood or you just kiss small and want to enter the place? Sex for a woman starts in the mind.

Musa, Etebo and Omeruo all received yellow cards and could all have gotten a second. Should the coach have removed all three of them? What happens if a fourth player now receives a yellow and there are no more substitutions to be made? What happens then?

This our coach is not tactical strong enough .if we meet a strong team it wil be a disaster ....Henry on the bench even when Musa got one yellow card with second one he will be red carded yet he was not remove

So once a player receives a yellow card he should immediately be substituted. That would be your tactical move. You try.

Exactly Oga Naptu2

unclexofficial:
Divine Oduduru, the Nigeria athletics star has reportedly dropped out of an American University, Texas Tech University he got a scholarship at in his final year. Divine Oduduru reportedly dropped out of the American University in his final year, to purse a professional career as an athlete. This came after he was declared the second fastest African in the 100m after compatriot Olusoji Fasuba. Recall that we reported earlier that the Nigeria star who competed at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championships on Friday, June 7, won both the 100m and 200m events as Texas Tech's claimed its maiden men's athletics national title.

"I want to say thank you to Texas Tech University for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to come study here," Oduduru said as he thanked his team mates.  "I want to thank all of my teammates — from the sprinters to the jumpers to the throwers — for always believing in me and giving me so much support. I never felt like I was not at home here. It has been so great being here at Tech, and now I've made up my mind that I want to go pursue my career. I'll always be proud to say I am a Red Raider and a Tech student. Wherever I go to, I will be proud to say that" he added.

Here is the video he shared below;

https://unclesuru.com/2019/06/14/divine-oduduru-drops-out-of-american-university-in-final-year/

OP, get your facts straight. he is not dropping out of school but out of the scholarship program. He will most likely pay for his final year once he can secure huge sponsorship deals which the scholarship currently prevents him from doing.

See below:

"Since joining Texas Tech on scholarship, Divine Oduduru has been a huge revelation. As a student-athlete, he's broken a bunch of records and even managed to set new ones. Now, it looks like his career is really about to take off, as he just announced he's going professional.

This means that Oduduru will drop out of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) scholarship that got him into Texas Tech in the first place, as the contract restricts him from earning money through commercial deals.

However, this doesn’t mean the athlete will be left out in the rain. In fact, he’s now taking his career to the next level, and we’re talking about huge sponsorship deals. Oduduru’s coach, Wes Kittley, estimates that the Nigerian can earn as much as $500,000 (N180 million) yearly as a professional.

Oduduru is 22 years old, and this is the best time for him to make money in athletics. In 2016, he ran alongside Usain Bolt at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and with this new path, he could become the face of big brands across the world – just like the world’s fastest man.

Big lie...even though you may not hear der name, they all still play active professional football. Toni kroos teammates still play in the bundesliga, where are the likes of chrisantus of then, rabiu Ibrahim etc. only few dedicated ones and those who didn't lie about der age progress

Ganiyu Oseni plays in Vietnam, Kingsley Udoh plays for Sunshine Stars, Rabiu Ibrahim is still playing in Slovakia, Chrisantus has played in Germany, Spain, Turkey and I believe is now in Finland, King Osanga was at Plateau United last season.

As long as they didn't progress to become regulars in their senior team, there is no difference between the Europeans who dispeared into their local leagues and the Nigerian boys who dispeared into the back leagues of Europe, Asia or returned to our local league.

Chrisantus is still playing active professional football, so is Ibrahim. Just because you are not hearing their names, doesn't mean they aren't playing.

The painful part was when Cersei died, she wasnt suppose to die like that, her death was supposed to be very slow and painful, episode 5 was so annoying ehhh.

Most evil people like Cersei actually die a coward's death, most often while hiding or on the run. Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Idi Amin, Osama. The moment capture is imminent they either commit suicide, go into hiding, or go on the run.

so, losing ser jorah and mirante is enough justification for blonde destroying a whole city? did you see that mother and child dying? the one Arya tried to help? what about the stark who lost a dad, a mom and sons in this throne games? I know we all have varied ideas, but don't place your idea on a plank just because u wanna hold a stake at the other end. the writers were poor without guide book and that shouldn't be an excuse cos even the guide book was written by a writer.

Unfortunately, Dany has always had the tendency for such actions, the love we had for her character simply blinded people to her excesses. How many times did she have her dragons burn people even when Tyrion and others advised against it? In an earlier season when she met with the Trader of Spices and the 13, she proclaimed that when her dragons grow up, she would burn down armies and cities, and destroy all those who had wronged her. Even, our most favourite characters have flaws.

Besides, GOT has always been unpredictable.

The truth is if they remake it 100 times it will still not meet everyone's general expectations. Too many people have created their own fantasy endings to the show and are disappointed it didn't go as they imagined. Many thought Jon Snow would have an epic sword fight with the Night King. Some where expecting a gruesome death for Cersei, and now the beloved Dany has razed down King's Landing, killing innocent women and children.

The funny thing is, GOT has never gone according to expectations, right from season 1.
