olaezebala: Nigeria police are the most silly and useless body of individual have ever seen in my life. Yesterday I was moving within the city of Ibadan when a senseless bus hit me from behind. My brake light got broken and the police met us at the scene and settled the matter then they left. Lo and behold, after 3 minutes of driving away from the scene, I met this same police officers asking what happened to my brake light. I was so suprised and wi tried explaining to them that they were the ones that came to the accident scene and settled the matter.they never listened and they asked one of their officers to lead me to their station where I was asked to bail my car. Senseless fools. lwkmd. Buh pathetic. Jst reminded mi of an episode wen ma friend was arrested. OAM4J: Ogun to reduce number of tertiary institutions
The Ogun State government on Wednesday gave an indication of its intention to reduce the number of its tertiary institutions, as it expressed worry over what was described as the proliferation of state-owned higher education institutions.
It would be recalled that the immediate past administration led by Gbenga Daniel had established six tertiary institutions in addition to the existing four in the state, bringing the total number to 10.
The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Olusegun Odubela hinted at a reduction while addressing journalists at his Oke-Mosan office, in Abeokuta, the state capital. He said "as a state, we believe that this number is huge, but we don't want a situation where we will take a decision without bringing in experts who will look at it and then recommend."
He explained that the newly inaugurated panel of visitation and fact-finding is set to carefully look into the issues.
"They will look at it, look at the reasons why those schools were set up. Are they actually meeting those needs? Do we have good schools? We don't want to sit as a government and take a decision without bringing in proper professionals who will look into it and then recommend to us and that is what we have done," said Mr Odubela.
Following due process
On the controversial return of schools to missions, the commissioner condemned the action of Mr Daniel's administration, which, according to him, did not follow due process.
"At the time the past administration would get that MoU where they agreed to handover those schools, they were not considering the law which is still in existence. That law has not been amended, it has not been repealed and an MOU cannot supersede a law. It was not properly done and that MoU, to me, cannot withstand the position of the law," Mr Odubela said. "Secondly, we discovered that the past administration did not actually take a lot of things into consideration. If you just agree with the way they have done, almost about 30,000 of our students will be roaming the streets because they will not be able to pay those fees that will be charged by those missionary schools."

jst reminded me of these poems we luvd reciting yl in secondary school
Where the rivers of time Are founded by native stress and strife, And man becomes his own enemy, Life is distraught And its colourful scenes Are marred and stained By dark-brown blots of violent blood. Let’s live in peace, For here, like tenants In thatched huts, we dwell; Soon, too soon, the tropic storm Will out-blow the flick’ ring lights Of human life- Our huts will fall In frailty upon the earth Whereon, they rot, And we, in foul disintegration, Will be identified- With dust.
I met an old woman Talking by herself Down a lonely road. Talking to herself, Down a country road. Child, you cannot know Why folks are talkative If the road be long And travellers none. A man walks to himself If showers of sorrows Fall down like arrows The lone wayfarer May talk by himself So an old woman On lone country roads Laughing all the time, May babble to herself To keep the tear away. Woman, you are sad! ‘ Tis the same with me. |

naijays: Olisa Publicly Apologizes For Beating Colleague. 'we All Make Mistakes'
As has been widely reported I was involved in an altercation with a work colleague during the week. I am deeply regretful of what transpired and have taken full responsibility for my actions. I have privately apologized to my colleague, the team that I work with and I am taking this opportunity to apologize to the public at large. As humans we all make mistakes and I made a major one which is completely out of character. I over reacted to a situation and that is something that will never repeat itself.
Despite being at the centre of a media feeding frenzy, I’ve been silent in order to allow the organization, to which I’m affiliated with and at who’s premises the incident occurred, to carry out its investigations and come to a conclusion but most importantly to allow the aggrieved party (Mr. Adewunmi Oyekanmi) time to accept my heartfelt apology.
While the events have been distorted, I am very apologetic about the situation but picking holes in the media reports or pointing out the falsehoods will not be useful, however, any kind of loss of control is not excusable and I have since tendered an unreserved apology to 'Dewunmi. I have always preached against violence and so this is a time for some reflection. Again, I apologize and I thank ‘Dewunmi for accepting my apology.
I would like to thank the hundreds of people who called me and those who sent in messages For more than 20years now, I’ve operated in the Electronic media sector without a blemish but by this action, I have let myself down and most importantly I’ve let Family, Friends and the millions of people who look up to me, down.” To those who have been clamoring for my response, I thank you for your patience and understanding.
http://www.jimmysonde.com/2011/09/olisa-adibua-of-beat-fm-publicly.html?m=1 d guy hs got the heart. a 9s move indeed Kunbee: Shattap!!
If you want to apologise do so, don't say we all make mistakes. Meaning anyone who commits a crime should be congratulated and since "we" are human it should be excused and he shouldn't be punished or chastised. Because someone slept on your couch
And Dewunmi never said anything about you apologising except you been suspended in which the Beat fm still let you work after your suspension started.
No wonder he isn't married Who is the "we"? I would rather not be human @least, d guy acted bera than TIMAYA would have |
