A Chinese company Xi'an Rozen Biotechnology Co. Ltd has scammed a local partner company in Nigeria involved in the production of biological chemicals of about for more than a million naira- N1,098,087 (RMB 9,853) and several other millions in production damages and profits that should have been earned.

The local company negotiated and paid for a gellification agent through Xi'an Rozen's sales agent who calls herself Amy and used Whatsapp phone number +8613235571262. Payment was made through Alipay account: 18629295024 胡占成 ZhanCheng Hu.

When the product got to Nigeria and drums were opened and tested, local company found that product sent was of terrible quality. The gellification agent would not gell and had to many impurities.

The local company contacted Amy the sales marketer of Xi'an Rozen Biotechnology on whatsapp to complain but met a brickwall. They feign ignorance of their scam and would not refund money or pay for damages. This issues has dragged on for many months and the staff of Xi'an Rozen Biotechnology Co. Ltd would no longer respond to messages. The local company is looking to seek redress with Chinese authorities or as a last resort cause severe reputational damage that will make prospective customers shy away from dealing with the company.


Is there any company who has been through this with dubious Chinese Companies like Xi'an Rozen Biotechnology Co. Ltd? How did you go about it?
