Where is the honesty in saying that? Would that not be a lie?
I don't think so. Just as the Father can do anything but cannot be the Son - yet God can do anything

Your fellow Trinitarian & Bible scholar disagrees with your claim about Colossians 2:9
"Jesus Christ is NOT fully God "

"

The correct rendition of 1 Timothy 3:16 is "who/which was manifest in the flesh".

Trinitarians smuggled "God" into that verse to deceive gullible folks.
Oga, pls go and verify.
Soo, what was manifest in the flesh?
Taking the Bible as a whole, isn't it more correct and more honest to say that Christ IS God but NOT the Father?

This brings us to a better understanding of what Jesus said in Acts 1:7. Honestly, I have struggled to understand that verse until tonight.

When the disciples were asking the Lord Jesus about the timing of His second coming, He answered them in Acts 1:7 which states:

"It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power."

The right thing Jesus was supposed to say is "...the time and the seasons which only the Father knows." If He had said that, it would have put a question on His omniscience. But He said the Father puts that in His power. I actually didn't understand the putting in His power phrase until tonight after reading the response from my brother Nachmonides.

Now, I understand that Jesus is speaking to His disciples here, telling them that it's not their responsibility to know the timing of the future event, - the restoration of the kingdom to Israel which happens only during the second coming. He emphasized that God the Father has reserved the right to determine the timing of the event, and it's not for humans to know or speculate about the exact timing.

This further proves that it's not a matter of Christ not being all knowing but a matter of understanding the individual roles in the Trinity.
Isn't it easier and more honest to say that Christ is God but doesn't know everything?

Yes, you're right.

But then, the Trinity have distinct roles. The timing of the second coming is solely the Father's responsibility.
??

Trinity is singular BTW. See below

Does that negate the fact that the Messiah is from everlasting? No!

Jesus was not fully God in the days of His flesh. Neither was He fully man.
Nachmonides:
That's an interesting scripture you have put there.
Well, the Bible says He was fully God. See below.
"Fully God" implies "fully all-knowing". No?

Please explain:

You see this is the problem with us Nigerians we don't learn neither do we like to move further we like staying stagnant.
If you don't believe in innovation and technology advancement then why are we human.
This your comment here is why we as Nigerians will always be consumers than producers.
Secondly you don't know much bout fun violence in America because if you do, you won't be saying what you saying.
We live the American nightmare when it comes to gun violence that is why there is so much gun shooting in American schools.

You think guns are properly regulated in America, think again you wrong. In America anybody can fabricate gun easy with no registration tag people 3D print guns and make the work perfectly fine.

America have so much guns they can't even keep count because that was the mistake they made to make gun available to everyone.
It is now they are starting to find a way to regulate it.
Go look up the gun ammmend right in America and see what is going on there.
Now to make the side gun I talk about is not hard it just need proper investment towards this. If the government of Nigeria have the good intent of its citizens, this should have been done since.
So to finalize your idea about America and gun violence and registration it's not what you think.
People dey buy gun for the street of America like sy na cup of garri u dey buy. I know what am saying cause I loved it.
So I have seen how bad it is in America and the best way to implement gun safety in Nigeria I just tell you so.
Don't be deceived by everything you watch on TV about America bro most are just logical falacy.
Bros, do you live in Nigeria AT ALL?? I doubt it.
How long ago were computers invented? Go to a police station in Nigeria and they still use notebooks for reports and records, AND they'll likely ask you for money to get some because it just so happened they ran out! These are the people that'll enforce your ambitious gun rules - people who mount checkpoints to collect N100 bribes!
Everything you say about how easily guns can be obtained in US, Nigerians will do it X3 because we are more enterprising. The only thing holding us back is that guns are not legal at all.
With all due respect you ought drop this topic because you seem not to know the streets at all. Your proposal is full of "if's". "If's" that didn't work in America (where they have good records) will now work in Nigeria where policing is not at all computerized!

Final response on this matter. Your words would have had more weight if you were a man, but you're a woman. You can never understand the sexual urge /desire of a healthy man. There is a reason why men have way higher testosterone levels than women.
Here's a secret - we have wet dreams same as men when we abstain from sex. Men have testosterone and we have estrogen. Both are sex hormones that result in equal sex drives, though men are more easily triggered

Infotubia9ja:
You point duly noted..
If you read my comment over again you will see where I stated and put a solution to this problem of gun violence once and for all.
Now I will try and break it further for you

We now have a technology where you own a gun that only you can shoot and nobody else can shoot unless they force you to against your will all thanks to finger print (tumb print) and face recognition.
The gun is so so secure that even if a baby or an infant picks it up from the ground without you knowing no matter how they pull the trigger, it won't go off it is so so safe and secure. No more accidental shoot etc.
If our government invest in that policy the gun violence will go down way way more
Security will improve.
Local guns will stop because those people will either stop making due to life imprisonment or death sentence OR they go work in the gun manufacturing company that will provide more jobs and protection to the country..
The way road kidnapping and robbery will reduce in Nigeria ehn.. u go fear.
Are you in the real world at all, at all?? All sorts of technologies are available that we can't afford or refuse to use in Nigeria.
ONCE you legalize possession of firearms in Nigeria we'er finished. At least in America they have proper records. In Nigeria anything you would need to legalize that gun ownership can be easily bought

Infotubia9ja:
To own Gun is not the problem.
Infact every mentally stable person deserves to own a gun for self defense.
What the government need to do is put a law where illegal possession of gun will be life imprisonment or death the individual gets to choose.
But there will be the law as well where everybody will have the right to own a gun.
All you will need is apply for gun permit if pre-approved, the person will go over these steps

1, take a medical exam both physical and phycological examination by experts (who are regulated by the government and approved doctors with the license to operate this task)
If found not mentally stable they will be rejected to go further but if pass both physically and mentally, then go the second stage.

2, write an exam to prove knowledge and value of life and how taking a life will matter and only required for life and death situation.
If passed then on to the next stage.

3, field training how to shoot. If pass onto the next stage.

Pay for the gun.. only federal government approved guns (pistol guns for civilians only. The guns will be very expensive so they know it worth. And it will be finger and face verification only.. i.e only the owner of the gun can operate the gun nobody else. So every shot can he traced to who shot who.

This will solve the gun violence before it even begins in Nigeria. And everyone can travel to where ever he or she wish to go by road with courage.
And also you fit sleep with your door open.

P.s age limit for gun license and permit to call will be 21 and above.
My idea anyways
You forget two things:
1) This is Nigeria
2) Slippery slope.

America has taught the world that the best thing is to eliminate gun ownership as much as possible.
In Nigeria we ought add that anyone found in possession of a gun is life imprisonment.

**If you only knew the amount of suicides, accidental discharges, murders of passion, child accidents, etc that Nigeria has avoided because there're no guns available
Politics › Re: Tinubu's Govt lacks ideas, dynamism turning into a monarchy - Usman Bugaje by DaddyCoool(f):
Nigeria foolishly copied American presidential system without having the underlying culture and elements that dilute the president's power.
We indeed have close to a powerful monarchy and it's not Tinubu's fault!
