The Nairaland Moderators will not like to push this one to front page...since the article has promoted Peter Obi but overlooked Tinubu and Atiku. BTW all Igbos supporting Peter Obi should realise winning elections in Nigeria is a communal effort from all tribes, Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, Ijaw etc and stop castigating others if they choose to support another candidate. No Presidential candidate no matter how good he is can win elections without the support votes from all the tribes across Nigeria. Igbos should learn a lessom from Awolowo. All the Southerners supporting Tinubu don't even know anything about Shettima. I am a Yoruba living in the North. But I've come to realise majority of my fellow Yorubas living in the South who are supporting BAT are just blind or ignorant on how the North plays politics and usurp power. They just believe Tinubu is one magician that will perform wonders. Meanwhile all the top security architecture are occupied by the core Northern Fulani's. From DSS to NIA, to the Military rank and file. Its obvious BAT will not be able to control the administration of Nigeria if given the opportunity. He only seems to be active now because he desperately wants to secure the Presidency for himself. That is the position of the majority of Yorubas today. Don't be deceived by posts from the Social Media handlers of the APC and BAT. At the national level we would have voted for VP Yemi Osinbajo whom we all campaigned for, but since he's out of the race, we have switched to the alternative credibly competent Southern Christian candidate which is Peter Obi. A NORTHERNER CANNOT REPLACE A NORTHERNER.. ATIKU SHOULD REST BECAUSE SOUTHERNERS ARE NOT SECOND CLASS CITIZENS. A MUSLIM CANNOT SUCCEED A FELLOW MUSLIM LET ALONE TOLERATING A MUSLIM-MUSLIM TICKET. TINUBU SHOULD REST BECAUSE CHRISTIANS ARE NOT SECOND CLASS CITIZENS IN NIGERIA. On Southern Christian Presidency we shall all stand, for equity and Justice.
