maticar: The thing weak me
Could it be one that has previously been in a blast and refitted(poorly) again??
Mind boggling mehn The vehicle is too new to have been involved in a blast incident. Plus many of this model were deployed to the East from depot |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by DaddyGoo: 5:25pm On Feb 09, 2022 |
tutudesz: Maybe the Chassis and the body weren't fixed properly by the manufacturer It's not impossible actually. If I remember correctly we are the first to deploy the Isotrex Phantom 2 for any form of combat operations worldwide. The above could result in this very painful albeit unavoidable battle innoculation for the Army as an institution. Even the big boys suffer such incidents as examples on Google abound. May this sad incident instill a stronger safety culture throughout the Nigerian Army. Once again, RIP to the fallen and may their deaths not be in vain. |

maticar: Guys please what manner of accident is this that will seperate an MRAP like this in built up areas?? Bro the thing weak me fa. Chassis and armored capsule separate like that, Maka why?!! Even on war duty na heavy explosion dey cause this Kain thing, and in most cases the vehicle survives far better than this one has. Substandard vehicles? Or jazz? Hmmm.. NAVMC and DMI should please investigate this to prevent repeat, especially if it is found to be vehicle/mechanical failure. RIP and Godspeed to the fallen gallant men! |

tutudesz: Is this Proforce new APCs design Each state can support the military with 2 units each. 10 per state donation is more like it. The governors can afford it and the Army gets a decent sized fleet of badly needed armored mobility. |

GeneralFarouq: Patrolling solely with holstered weapons though not without it's advantage is a bad idea.. Imagine a situation where u get pinned down and can't get to the vehicle... Obviously u are toasted since u cannot return fire with pistol which is likely to be out of range of engaging enemy forces... I referred specifically to police operations for holstered weapons sir. Maybe I could be clearer and say police operations in Urban areas. |

His rank was influenced.
He was course 42 Many senior officers have been retired due to the changes in Service Chiefs. If I remember well he was shot as a Lt Colonel about 5 years ago. So Brigadier is not too senior for him based on these circumstances. |
