Is it time for Pastor Adeboye to retire and hand over the baton of leadership of RCCG to a younger Pastor? Some people feel he should continue until he goes to meet the Lord while others believe age is catching up with him which is affecting his judgement and talk!

Those who believe he should hand over feel that he has made some gaffes in recent times which shows he may be having age related mild cognitive decline. This is very common among octogenarians and was what necessitated President Biden of America to step down from contesting the last election.

According to these guys , they mentioned the below as some of his recent blips
1- My prayers with some of my church members prevented the free fall of the Naira and if not for it, $1=10,000Naira.
2- God brought Covid to show the world He is God and after He is done showing people, Covid would disappear
3- Anybody that says or tries rubbish with my wife would die and not wake up on the resurrection day!
4- God please give Israel victory over the Palestines. He later deleted the message following outrage from people that he didn’t care about Christians in Palestine!
5- Nigeria’s economic problems are spiritual! Every one knows corruption and poor policies are the root causes!

Others have said Adeboye is a man of immense faith and trust in God! They believe God speaks to him as a favourite son and whatever he says is directly from the throne of Grace! They believe he can’t make mistakes! They believe he must continue as their leader until he breathes his last!

I strongly believe Pastor Adeboye is a great man of God with immense faith and love for Jesus! He is however human and just like all of us can make mistakes, fall ill and also have some age related decline in his cognitive abilities.

Apostle Arome Osayi stopped preaching and left the pulpit because phones rang in the church ! Is this pride or spiritual discipline? Did Jesus stop preaching despite the noise of the crowd? Would Arome have done same if he was in secular job ? Was he disrespectful to the congregation that came to church to listen to him?

Arome is a guy I respect and as a fellow comrade in the vineyard of Christ, I believe this was excessive and unfair to the congregation who came out to listen to you. Did Jesus drink Alcohol? Do u know wine in the Bible is alcoholic? The first non alcoholic wine was produced thousands of years after the death of Christ!

Matthew 11:19 “The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds"

In the above verse Jesus said He drinks alcohol and people were calling Him a drunkard! He was also eating and they called him a glutton(excessive eater)!

Jesus also turned water into wine at the wedding in Cana (John 2:1-11) and shared wine with his disciples at the Last Supper (Matthew 26:27-29) .

Wine in the Bible is alcoholic and not fruit red wine ! After the flood, Noah planted a vineyard, made wine, and became drunk (Genesis 9:21).
The Bible contains warnings about the dangers of excessive drinking, indicating that the wine was indeed alcoholic (Proverbs 20:1; Ephesians 5:18)

The first non alcoholic wine was produced in 1869 by Thomas Bramwell Welch, a New Jersey dentist and prohibitionist!

The Catholic Church teaches moderation and responsible drinking. Excessive drinking and drunkenness are considered sinful, but moderate consumption is acceptable. They base their argument on the fact that Christ drank Alcohol and also converted water to Alcohol!

Use your tithe to buy food, wine, strong drink and enjoy with your family in the presence of God(Deut 14:26).

Why do Pastors avoid dis verses and Only preach Malachi 3?

Imagine if tithes were enjoyed in the church with one’s family , church go Dey full steady! There would always be food and drinks in church !

Mature married Christians, advice needed for this sister!

Can a woman preach or minister in church during her menstrual period? Is it a sin? Has the law been abolished by salvation in Christ? Churches like CCC still adhere to this law. Does God change His mind? Are the laws just for the Jews and not for Christians?

Lev 15:19-20,31
19 “‘When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening.
20 “‘Anything she lies on during her period will be unclean, and anything she sits on will be unclean
31 “‘You must keep the Israelites separate from things that make them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness for defiling my dwelling place,which is among them.’”

Pastor Jerry Eze should Stop posting his work out sessions! He doesn’t need to show the world his well toned muscles,legs and thighs! They should only be for his gorgeous wife.
You need not display before letting your members/millions of followers know the importance of physical exercise!

Jesus asked His disciples to get swords at the Last Supper most likely for self defence! He did not want them to die with Him! He knew His hour had come and that was why He passed the message at the last supper!

He knew His captors could go berserk and try to k#ll His men hence the need to be prepared to defend themselves! He did not ask them to use the swords for violence or attack His captors and that was why He rebuked Peter for using his sword to cut off the ear of one of His captors (Matt 26:52)

Self defence/Self preservation is not a sin and it was important for the disciples to be alive to spread the gospel of Christ all over the world! Jesus knew He was the one destined to die and not His disciples. He was a true,selfless,sincere and practical leader!
