Rhodalyn, so, are you eating live chicken in KFC. Or is it a dead chicken (corpse) that is battered up and fried? Yes, like I said before, you are eating a corpse. ![]() |
I am hoping for the war head option. ![]() My thoughts on IBB is that America is well aware of his record. Maybe the perception that IBB might end up in power led the U.S. government to issue a warning that Nigeria would break up in 15 years or less. With out a doubt, America will not tolerate any pro-Jihadist country with vast access to oil wealth. The only exception is Iran since they have a solid democracy. Now, I am not in any way implying that America gets the last word, but I doubt they will be taken any chances by allowing Islamic zealot like IBB to assume the Presidency of the largest oil exporter on the continent. |
Chinani, I didn't hijack the thread. I merely zoomed in on a particular aspect of it. As far as I am concerned, that is playing by the rules. ![]() |
eveseh, my head is already big enough. Don't make it swell anymore. |
I have no hate towards anyone. If you are interested in discussing politics, meet me in one of the political threads. We have done enough to derail this topic. ![]() |
I can't go too much into detail about Nigerias problems and my proposed solution because Seun is obsessed with One Nigeria. If you are interested, you have to look into the appropriate thread. |
Breaking Nigeria up into 3 pieces. I am not going to go into too much detail here. But you might want to check out my post titled Provincial system: Peaceful Solution to the Nigerian Question. Link: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-13946.0.html |
SweetItua, they don't think about health in the food they eat. However, not all Nigerian food are bad. Usually, the food that the wealthy Nigerians eat is dripping in palm oil which is bad for you. But the average Nigerian consumes a less fattening diet. |
I don't pray. All I can do now is make sure that Nigerians understand that there is an alternative. Don't listen to all these one Nigeria morons. Their knowledge on history is limited to the failed secessionist attempt by Biafra. They have yet to grasp the bigger picture. |
alarinjo, don't be tricked into believing that Nigeria is too hard to break up. The thing that kept Nigeria one was the iron hand of the Military, and now that we are back to Democracy, all the past tensions have started to rise again. All it is going to take is one really sour Presidential election to put an end to the madness. Trust me, Nigeria is done. Even the Americans, in a government report, estimated that Nigeria would be split in 15 years. As for in-fighting between the 3 regions, Afenifere, Arewa Forum, and Ohaneze would do nicely in reducing inter-regional conflicts. |
Scorpio, there is a lot more to a Federal Government than the Presidency. The majority of senate and national Assembly seats are from the North. The 35 out of the 39 years of Military rule was headed by men from the North. And guess what, the economy sucks. The country is in never ending riots over foreign Gods. Damn right I am pissed. Damn right I am jealous of other countries. |
Scorpio : Air head that knows nothing about her country of origin. I wish you would get your head out of the clouds. |
I'm losing sleep because my freaking country is goddam failure. Thats why I am losing sleep. ![]() |
alarinjo, I think you are being a little too optimistic. I would rather see Nigeria cut into 3 pieces. I think the long years of military rule has created far too much tension in the country. Tension that fueled riots that led to the death of 2 thousand plus people in Kaduna. |
I'm sorry, the extent to which we should be proud of the North is "their girls are beautiful and their men are cute"? is that it? Are you kidding me? |
alarinjo, you have my apologize. Sorry, I have been debating with what I perceive to be brain dead people all day. Now, give me a responce to my comments. On what basis can a clear majority be formed to use as a platform to create a successful Nigeria? |
alarinjo, the Akan ethnic group in Ghana make up 49 percent of the population. The next leading ethnic group is only 16.5 percent of Ghanas population. How dare you compare Ghana, a country with a clear majority, to Nigeria that no single ethnic group can boast of 22 percent of the population. Give me freaking break. For a country to be built, you need a clear majority. Nigeria is country filled with minorities. Also, Ghana is 70 percent Christian and only has a 16.5 percent Muslim population. As you can see, Ghana has a lot less division in the country which makes it a lot easier to build a nation out of it. Link to Ghanian info. http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/general/ It is senseless talk like yours that holds Nigeria back from seperation. Like I have said on many occasions, Nigeria is an abomination. |
Scorpio, are you Nigerian? If so, what exactly is there to be proud of the North? |
Damn right, J-girl. ![]() |
I didn't make it in part one? |
Ndipe, it matters. Nigeria is so fractured that the region the next President comes from is just as important as the President himself. |
omogenaija, thank you for well-written, in-dept analysis into what region the next President of Nigeria should come from. ![]() |
