According to www.dictionary.com, competence is defined as:


1. The state or quality of being adequately or well qualified; ability. See Synonyms at ability.
2. A specific range of skill, knowledge, or ability.

Surely, that is not all that matters in a president. How about an actual desire to do what is right. Competence alone does not guaranty results.

The worst thing that has ever happened to me is not something I am going to talk about.

Many traditional religions have multiple Gods, so they didn't need a devil. The traditional Gods were neither good nor evil. They were complexed personalities with conflicting views. However, with the introduction of single God religions like Christianity and Islam, the need to represent these Gods as good even though many bad things were happening in the world led to the creation of the devil. This mythical being is then blamed for anything that goes wrong. And his evilness is blamed on his un-willingness to obey the all powerful, good God.

So, as you can see, to have a single God, you must either accept that God is neither good nor evil, or you must create another being to take the blame for the evil in the world.

I love Satan. If God was truly as good as the Christians would have you believe, he would use his "all powerful" powers to stop the devil from corrupting people. In reality, Satan is just the "Fall Guy" to take all the blame when God does something evil.

Militants from Niger-Delta attacked an oil facility in Port Harcourt. The attack is reported to have taken the lives of 17 Nigerian security forces. 5 Koreans were also taken hostage. The militants are demanding the release of Dokubo Asari and Diepreye Alamiesegha in exchange for the 5 Koreans.
