In what seem like calculated attempts to discredit and rubbish the integrity of Dr. Godwin Maduka, the Accord Party flag-bearer in the November 6 election by some group or persons, an attention has been drawn by the Maduka campaign organisation about one petition made against Chief Olisa Metuh to the Inspector General of Nigerian Police circulating in the social media which is said to have emanated from Dr Godwin Maduka Foundation.

This was contained in a media release by the campaign media assistant, Alex Nwankwo stating that the allegations against the Accord Party flag-bearer are untrue and malicious.

It also stated that the Dr. Godwin Maduka campaign team did not in any form make any petition to the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police against anybody whatsoever; that the said petition does not emanate from Dr Godwin Maduka Office, and also stating that the Logo and the letterhead paper used in the letter including the signature are not that of Dr Godwin Maduka.

The letter quoted that Maduka accused Metuh on grounds that he, Metuh, collected over N65million cash (Sixty five million naira) and a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon car from him in a promise to secure PDP governorship ticket for Maduka.
The letter also stated how Maduka was fruastrated and demanded his money back, prompting the IG and EFCC to intervene and investigate.

However, the petition purported to have come from Maduka, directing the IGP to investigate Chief Olisa Metuh, a PDP chieftain over breach of agreement is totally fake and did not originate from Accord Party nor his campaign organisation.

Lately, Maduka has been in eyes on Anambra people as one of the favorites in the upcoming Anambra State election. He has also come under heavy attack from opponents noticing his high rising profile and near victory schemes.

Few days ago, a news trended online about Dr. Maduka's defecting to another party which he debunked and said it is a cheap propaganda by opponents to win at all cost. Also, another trending video on a social media platform showed some hired town criers from Orumba South alleged to have denounced Accord Party and defected to another party, all by the same desperate opponents who feared his rising profile.

He reiterated the Accord Party's stand to maintain integrity and decorum in the face of the ugly machinations and assures Ndi-Anambra to remain resolute in voting their right candidate.

Nwankwo also assured party members to brace victory as every plans are ground to hold on to the party's lead at the polls, adding that it will be at the best interest of rumour mongers and evil merchants to desist from such and work towards tarnishing the image of Maduka.

The campaign team of Accord Party's governorship candidate in the upcoming Anambra State election, Dr. Godwin Maduka has expressed shock over the alleged rumour carried in the media that Accord Party members from Orumba North and South have decamped to other parties.

The media Assistant, Maduka's campaign team, Alex Ekene Nwankwo stated in a release to the media that there is no truth in the alleged claim, adding that it is the handiwork of spoilers from other parties who are not comfortable with the massive support his Principal has garnered ahead of the election.

"There is a fake news circulating on social media about an alleged decamping of Accord Party members from Orumba south to other parties.
This is untrue and a cheap propaganda to malign the image of Dr. Godwin Maduka whose reputation has garnered strength ahead of the upcoming Anambra governorship election.

The people in the purported video in circulation on the social media are not Accord party members. These are borrowed crowd used to discredit his Excellency," said Alex.

He also mentioned that after the rumour mongers lost out on their earlier propaganda, alleging that Maduka is planning to decamping to APGA, precisely meant to discourage his supporters, they seem not satisfied and have resorted to spread more fake news on members of Accord party in Orumba south decamping.

He urged all Party faithful to disregard such malicious news and to remain focused as Maduka is gradually cruising to victory.
"I feel this people are just using Maduka's influence to show relevance in his Stronghold areas," Alex added.

Anambra Guber: "Defection of Maduka's Running Mate To APC Inconsequential, He Remains Dep Gov Candidate.",- Accord Party Chairman

The defection of the running mate of Accord Party governorship candidate, Sir Ken Ifeatu Obi to the All Progressive Congress, APC, has been described as inconsequential, of no effect and with no electoral implications or consequences for Dr.Godwin Maduka and Accord Party.

Dr.Maduka is the Accord party governorship candidate in the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State.

Addressing a press conference in Awka, Anambra State capital, State Chairman, Accord Party, Prince Bartholomew Igwedibia JP, alias Ikolonando, said Mr. Ifeatu, lacks the locus standi to decamp to another political party, on the basis that INEC deadline for resignation or substitution of candidates is over.

He said the Electoral Act, only made it permissible for candidates to do so within a period of time and which has elapsed.

Prince Igwedibia cited sections 33, 34, 35 of the Electoral Act (As Amended) 2015, which states that "a political party shall not be allowed to change or substitute it's candidate whose name has been submitted pursuant to Section 31 of this Act, except in the case of death or withdrawal by the candidate"

He noted that Ifeatu went to the APC on his own, and not on behalf of Dr. Maduka or for the Accord Party. Infact, he is working for the Accord party in the APC camp.

He said "By legal implications, he is the deputy governorship candidate of the the Accord Party, because INEC cannot permit him to leave because the Electoral Body guidelines on movement of candidates of political parties is very clear.

"He went to the APC on his free volition, and not with members of Accord party, who believe in Dr. Godwin Maduka and his chances to win the Anambra State governorship election.

The Accord Party Chairman assured supporters of Dr.Maduka to remain unshaken over Mr.Ifeatu's defection, as Dr.Maduka remains the candidate to beat in the November 6, 2021 governorship election.

The baseless and distasteful speculation that Dr.Godwin Maduka(Mr Evidence) and other governorship Candidates are set to quit the governorship race for Professor Charles Soludo is a figment of imagination and a complete falsehood depicting a drowning man with political tactlessness.

Dr. Godwin Maduka, a tenacious leading gubernatorial Candidate has never contemplated negotiating with any governorship Candidate or his agent(s) to withdraw from the race.

It is becoming increasingly obvious by the day that Dr. Maduka, The Accord governorship Candidate is the most popular and acceptable Candidate to Ndi Anambra given his plethora of identifiable achievements in the areas of human and infrastructural developments hence the orchestration of campaign of calumny, yellow journalism and demonic distraction to sway voters who have decided to vote enmasse for him.

Dr. Godwin Maduka has consistently stated that he would not receive salary as a Governor and that security vote would not be used for frivolities but properly utilized for development of the State.

These avowed statements of Dr. Maduka are enough proof to expose the hollowness of the widespread speculation that Dr. Godwin Maduka plans to quit the Governorship race.

Let it be known to every eligible electorate in Anambra State that Dr. Godwin Maduka of Accord (the no.1 party on the ballot paper) is ever determined to win the gubernatorial election and serve as Governor to restore the security of lives and properties, economic buoyancy as well as repositioning of Anambra State amongst the comity of States in Nigeria.

Big Brother Naija Top Finalist "Cross" had recently released a post on his Instagram page to celebrate his Instagram Handler, Lady Tessy Isioma Olotta for the outstanding role she played in the management of his page while he was away in the Big Brother House. Cross released the post few hours ago after leaving the house with pictures of Tessy Isioma and himself.


Tessy Isioma is a renowned Digital Marketing Strategist, Social Media Manager and Professional Page Manager. She commenced the management of Coss's Instagram page with optimism, believing that there was something quite significant and indeed special about the Season 6 Big Brother Naija Housemate who was amongst the top finalists.

NIGERIAN-SWITZERLAND BASED ARTISTE NAZ-B DROPS SINGLE TITLED "UNKNOWN GUNMEN", CRIES OUT SPATE OF VIOLENCE IN EASTERN REGION


Popular Nigerian-Switzerland based Celebrity Singer Naz-B has recently dropped a single titled "Unknown Gunmen". According to the International Artiste, the song was inspired by an unfortunate situation where a car he bought abroad and sent down to Nigeria for his mother was stolen by gunmen in Anambra State, with his family members stabbed severely.

He described the situation as unfortunate,with emphasis on the spate of violence ravaging eastern region of Nigeria, which is the the home of Igbos. He stressed that these unknown gunmen are sometimes Igbos killing fellow Igbo brothers claiming that these people are unknown gunmen. Naz-B related his true life experience in the song which he titled "Unknown Gunmen".

He further noted that he was being pushed to ask questions like "If other people hurt us, should we hurt ourselves too"?, "We say we're people of the church and are brilliant but we still harm ourselves, why"?, "Mothers do not deserve to watch their sons who they suffered to raise get injured or die"?, "Fathers should not go out to look for food for their families and also be scared that they won't go back home to them"?, "Children shouldn't have to wake up to the violent cracks of gunshots in the morning"?

However, Naz-B is optimistic that with his new release, the message of the incessant killings, violence and other criminalities in the Eastern region of Nigeria is given basic attention and addressed headlong. The Anambra born, Switzerland based international Artiste has remained deeply worried about the killings of his people in Anambra state and other parts of the Igbo land.

Dr.Godwin Maduka has considerably permeated the grassroots in Anambra State, with the overwhelming support he has garnered from the 326 wards in the State.


Maduka, last Saturday, concluded his tour to the wards where he did not only solicit for their votes, but assured them of good governance which would improve their lives if elected governor of the State.


From Okija wards (Ihiala LG) Umuoba Anam wards, ONITSHA North & South wards ( Anambra East) to Ajalli Wards, Umuchukwu ( Orumba North & South,) Nzam Award, Orumbanasa Wards ( Anambra West etc Maduka wined and dined with the locals, assuring them of a better and prosperous Anambra State.


Most of the visits Maduka undertook with his campaign team was trailed by warm reception, including his visit at the riverine areas where he was received with thunderous ovation.



To reciprocate his visit, Dr. Maduka was presented with gifts, which symbolize their acceptance and endorsement of his aspiration.



The tour to all the wards in Anambra State undertaken by Dr.Maduka signifies a burning passion by the medical Practitioner cum politician, to engage those at the grassroots as a strategic partners in his plans for the development of the State.



Analysts who assessed Maduka's ward tour argue that he is the only governorship candidate that has created a synergy and understanding with those at the grassroots before election day.

He received the young couple and their new Baby days ago, at his mansion in Lekki, Lagos State.

During the visit, the young couple were given an overwhelmingly warm reception, especially with the side attractions created by their new Baby. Speaking exclusively with our Correspondent few moments after the visit, Dr. Churchill Olakunle expressed appreciation to Dr. Godwin Maduka for the amazing reception they received.

He also assured him of his support ahead of the forthcoming Governorship Elections in Anambra State. He therefore wished Dr. Maduka victory in the November 6th Polls. On Monday the 27th of September 2021, The Board of Directors for WHO is WHO AWARDs Nigeria Conferred the Stand of Fame Award to the Former Governor of Imo State and serving Senator of Imo West, Owele Rochas Okorocha

The International president for WHO is WHO AWARDs Miss Binta Pearl Ojoma stated that the Award was conferred on Rochas due to his Phylantrophy and Leadership qualities.

She said the former Governor and current senator representing Imo West, Imo State, Nigeria has demonstrated that he indeed is a man with a heart of gold and compassion as his persona is made up of his commitment to philanthropy.

“Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha has shown remarkable excellence in all sphears of life as one of Nigeria’s multi-billionaire, education philanthropists, politician, an astute businessman, A man who has set his sights on providing free education to 1 million children across the African continent by the year 2030” Ojoma Said.

Pearl Ojoma also stated that Rochas is now the 4th Nigerian to Receive the Stand of Fame Award after Past President Good luck Jonathan, Prince Ned Nwoko, and the AIG Interpol Garba Umar.

In response, the Senator expressed appreciation for the Award and promised to continue helping the Needy not just in Nigeria but across Africa, He categorically stated that he is pleased that WHO is WHO AWARDs as an Organization does not only Award or Celebrate the Elite but also Awards Carpenters, Caterers, Mechanics and other unsung heroes.

"I have always asked God to make me a pipe of blessings unto others, I am only a custodian of God's Wealth and my hands always open . Any time there is a person somewhere critically in need, I have always prayed to God to take resources from my pocket to help such a person because for me that is life" Rochas Said

World Peace Day 2021: Dr. Maduka, Deputy Conferred With World Peace Ambassdors By The United Nations Organisation


Over the weekend at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, Anambra State, there was an epoch-making event and well attended ceremony organized by the United Nations Organisation to mark the 'WORLD PEACE DAY 2021' celebrations. This year's memorable celebrations which was tagged “Recovering Better for an Equitable and Sustainable World” was under the Chairmanship of Chief Dr. Sir Mike O. Okiro (IGP Rtd).

Dr. Godwin Maduka, the Umuchukwu-born Harvard trained Medical doctor, triple professor of science and also Accord Party candidate in the forthcoming November 6, 2021 Anambra guber polls together with his running mate, Chief Sir Ken Ifeatu Obi were conferred with the Distinguished Ambassadors for World Peace by the United Nations Organization during the event.

According to the United Nations Organisation, “It is in the spirit of acknowledging good works and in line with our principles of ensuring a peaceful society that we have decided to recognize Dr. Godwin Maduka and Sir Ken Obi for their efforts and good works in partnership with us to ensure a peaceful society. We have decided to recognize them so that they will be encouraged to carry on with their good works”.

In appreciation, both Dr. Maduka and Sir Ken Obi thanked the United Nations Organisation for finding them worthy and deserving of such honour. They assured the Organisation that they will not relent in their efforts in promoting a peaceful and egalitarian society.

The intensity or tempo of the Anambra governorship race has continued to rise, with political permutations pointing in favour of the Accord party governorship candidate, Dr.Godwin Maduka.

Accord governorship candidate, Dr.Godwin Maduka, was the star of a govenorship debate organized by Kwechiri Oganiru,a socio political group, and aired on Arise Tv, for governorship candidates vying for Anambra State guber election.

The event took place at the Dora Akinyuili Women Development Centre, Awka, Anambra State.

Aside reeling out his impressive agenda for the people of the State, his endorsement by fellow contestants at the debate, was the major highlight of the event.

One of the governorship candidates, attested that Maduka is the only governorship candidate among others in the contest, with wide contacts and international connection to develop Anambra State.

During the debate, Maduka unveiled his 10 point agenda for the people of Anambra State, geared towards uplifting the people and guarantee the State economic growth and development.

The debate anchored by respected journalist, Mr.Reuben Abati, provided Maduka, a wider audience to unleash his agenda and plans for Anambra State.

He went memory lane, recalling how he passed through the pangs of poverty before he rose to affluence.

He said having undergone the crucibles of life, he is better equipped among other candidates to change the fortunes of the people of Anambra State.

As Nigerians and especially people of the southwestern region anticipates the forthcoming 2021 Olojo Festival holding at Ile Ife in Osun State, Prince Abiodun Ishola Olatunbosun has expressed heartfelt felicitation to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogwunwusi, the Ojaja II and Ooni of Ife ahead of the festival, which will commence on the 26th of September 2021.


Speaking with our Correspondent, Prince Abiodun Ishola described the Ooni of Ife as a true Leader, whose reign has attracted several privileges to the people of Ile Ife and Osun State in general. He noted that his prayers are with the Ooni of Ife, as he undergoes the 7days spiritual seclusion preceding the forthcoming 2021 Olojo Festival.


The Olojo Festival is an annual cultural festival created to celebrate the day the Almighty created the earth. "Olojo" in Yoruba means ‘the day of the first dawn’, but in the lores of Ile-Ife. The Seclusion of Ooni of Ife is so significant, and was inherited from his ancestors thousands years ago.
