A serious broke out early this morning at the New African Shrine popularly known as Fela shrine in Ikeja area of Lagos.

It was gathered that the clash occurred following a heated disagreement between two groups following this year's edition of Felabration which saw thousands of Nigerians gather to celebrate the music legacies of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

The fight was quelled by officers of the Rapid Response Squad who stationed patrol teams in the area to forestall a repeat. Some suspects were also arrested by the police.

Felabration, now in its 20th year, was initiated by Yeni Kuti, Fela’s first child and her brother Femi, as a platform to celebrate their father’s legacy.

This annual music festival runs for a week and attracts guests from around the world who are entertained with a rich display of the Nigerian culture, music and discussions on topical issues affecting society

A Nigerian woman based in Erfurt, Germany, took to social media to raise an alarm after accusing her husband, Willoughby Gbolade Adeola, of domestic violence and trying to forcefully commit her to a psychiatric home.

The woman identified as Adenike Obaoye who alleged to be a victim of domestic violence - did a live video on Facebook where she claimed her husband notified the authorities in Germany that she has lost her sanity and tried to take her to a psychiatric home.

She also claimed that this has happened twice as she accused of him destroying her phone and seizing her laptop in order to cripple her from social media. The devastated woman revealed that the husband who has allegedly been threatening her, locked her and the children inside the house after she prevented him from taking them.

Hi Facebook Friends, my husband Willoughby Gbolade Adeola is acting out another script again this night October 18, 2018. Since the Month of May when I became aware about the Adidas game 'They' claimed they are playing to test my loyalty, etc. All hell has been let loose at home. The urgent plot this night (October 18, 2018) is my husband came home from work, he changed his job to permanent Night shift in the month of May but from Tuesday October 16, 2018 he said he's on change of shift for two weeks and since last week Friday, there had been several emergency emails and calls of people wanting to gain entry into our apartment at all cost especially after my husband lied against me that I have lost my sanity since the month of May 2018.

He came home this evening with burgers for the children and I pleaded that for the two weeks till October 31, 2018 that I will fully be at home with the children, I'm not able to take them to the kindergarten because of the body aches I have, my husband flared up, threatened that October 18 will be my last night, he disconnected the Wi-Fi internet at home and has rushed out that he's going to the Psychiatric Station for them to come and get me this night October 18, 2018.

While I await his return with staff of the Psychiatric hospital, this same thing has been done twice since the month of May, 2018 but they usually let me go home whenever they hear me speak.

I recorded some of his threats this night October 18, 2018 and I have sent to some close friends who always argue with me that he is a very good father to reach out to him and talk with him.

N.B- Please friends, I do not need any of you to invite police into our apartment this night cos it has also been the ploy in the past but I am publicly putting this post again for the world to take note of a victim of domestic violence that is about to be forcefully taken to the Psychiatric Station and probably get harmed because my husband Willoughby Gbolade Adeola has an hidden agenda and lied that I have gone mad since they claim to have started the Adidas game I never subscribed to.

Update- at 7.24pm, he came back into the house, took away my laptop out of the apartment and locked the children and I in a room cos I stopped him from wanting to take the children out this night. It's part of their Adidas game to set me up for identity fraud and use 'policemen' to get me at all cost. I can hear him rumbling the house and took some documents as well as I peeped through the key hole. He is threatening if I don't delete this post this night October 18, 2018. The children and I will remain locked in a room with no chairs/bed.

A 13-year-old girl named Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbaje who was raped by her a lecturer and his son in Benue state, has passed away, according to reports. 

According to philanthropist Ukan Kurugh, the young girl battled with Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF) and other health complications at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, before her death yesterday. 

51-year-old lecturer who is said to be the Head of Department, Catering and Hotel Management at the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Benue State, Mr. Andrew Ogbuja and his son, Victor Inalegwu Ogbuja, a final year student of Animal Production at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, consistently molested little Ochanya since she was 8.

The autopsy report has also affirmed the cause of her death to be sexual molestation of a minor, according to reports. 

Ochanya, was living with the family due to her relationship to the man's wife (Mrs. Felicia Ochiga-Ogbuja) who is her cousin before she became an object of sexual satisfaction for the father and son..

It was gathered that the girl would take ill but it was difficult for the hospitals in Ugbokolo to detect exactly what was wrong even when she collapses occasionally. 

Ochanya, after serious interrogation revealed how long the molestation had been taking place and how she was threatened against her life if anyone got to know of what was happening. She explained that she was forced with drugs which made her not to be very conscious of what happened.

A lady is trending online after sharing a sweet story on how she met her husband in an unusual place, a stadium. According to the lady, she reluctantly followed her brothers to the stadium to watch a football match after getting themselves tickets for the game seven months ago.

Her husband was also in the stadium but she never knew what destiny had in store for her.

It was 7 months ago on the 14 of March when love chose me in Green Point stadium. It was the Nedbank Cup,Orlando Pirates was playing against Cape Town City. My brothers had bought themselves tickets to the game,they didn't get me one,for obvious reasons, that I never watch any soccer matches and have never had an interest to go to the stadium.

But this time I queued the long lines of last minute ticket sales and got myself and my cousin tickets.

We didn't pay much attention to the match. We were excited about our first time at the stadium and we wanted everyone to know. It was selfie after selfie. Posted on whatsapp, until a friend noted the guy in a grey t-shirt photo bombing all my snaps and asked if I'll give him the pictures.

Every time I turned back to my brother's he was staring right at me. Then it was half time when he came down, running over the chairs to introduce himself. I gave him a hard since that day but he never gave up. On the 14th of October I chose love in return and became his wife.

The son of the executive governor of Nasarawa state, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, crushed six persons with his car in Mararaba Ankunza area of Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Khalid Al-makura, who is alleged to be a habitual hit and run driver - was said to be coming from a local Hausa club ”Lancika hotel” when as a result of over speeding he crashed into six persons which led to amputating three-persons legs and hands who are all receiving treatment in Chida Crescent Hospital, Abuja.

The traditional ruler of the area, Ibrahim Mohammed, who confirmed the accident, said about three persons sustained serious injuries, but there was no record of death.

According to him, aside those whose hands and legs were amputated, other only have minor injuries and are currently receiving treatment in National Hospital, Abuja.

He further explained that when the accident happened, he was called upon to intervene, because, “Some youths wanted to kill the driver, but I insisted and asked the vigilante guards to take him away, which they did before they later hand him over to the Police, while those injured were rushed to specialists Hospital. And the Governor immediately ordered that they should all be taken to Abuja,” he stated.

“In fact, if we were not there nobody knows what the youth could have done, because they were angry and ready for jungle justice as they noticed the driver was drunk,” he added.

A Nigerian pastor is currently trending on various social media platforms after his sex tape surfaced online. The Nigerian pastor and real estate guru, Apostle Chris Omatsola is embroiled in a sex tape scandal with a lady identified as Princess Tamaratokoni Okpewho.

It is alleged that the footage was leaked online by a phone repairer who posted it online, according to multiple online reports. 

Apostle Chris Omatsola is the senior pastor of Zionwealth Of Life Assembly and also a real estate business tycoon in Lekki area of Lagos while Ms. Princess Tokoni Okpewho is said to be based in the same Lekki area..

Few months ago, a Pastor of the Christ Chosen Church of God known as Ngbeken Elvis, was arrested for the death of a mother of four children simply identified as Mama Sarah. Mama Sarah, aged 38, died while procuring abortion for the pregnancy she had for Pastor Elvis.

Both of them were said to have been in a secret relationship for over six months.

Operatives of Rapid Response (RRS) at around 3.00 a.m saved a Uber driver from losing his 2006 model Toyota Corolla to three armed robbers in Lekki – Ajah expressway.

The robbers had after boarding the car attempted to hijack it from the driver at gun point. The struggling for the steering between the robbers and the driver as well as the swerving of the vehicle on the road drew the attention of the RRS men.

A warning shot in the air made the robbers abandon their locally made shot gun and two live cartridges before fleeing into the bush.

A school in Anambra state was mocked last year after outstanding students were given goats by the management for distinguishing themselves academically. 

The authorities of Santa Mary Nursery and Primary school 2, Nibo, a school managed by St. Theresa’s parish, Catholic diocese of Awka, Anambra state, gave pupils that came top in their classes the unusual gifts never received by students in the history of Nigeria education system. 

On Monday, 15th October, 2018, the Ora Goat Project took place again in the same school.  It was revealed that the goat gifts were given to pupils that took first position in their respective classes from primary one to six in both campuses.

According to a report by Tobenna Obiano, the school organisers said, “the essence of the project is to inculcate the habit of caring in the Children and also to assist the children in paying their school fees through the proceeds from the goats as it begins to multiply. As the children learn how to care for the goats, they will as well learn how to care for themselves, parents, family, etc and the society at large especially in this milieu where nobody hardly cares.

Report has it that this is the third time this is happening in the school..

Tobenna Obiano has urged citizens that the unique gift and concept should be appreciated and supported by all. He also said other communities in and outside Anambra State may also consider adopting it young ones are taught to honour traditions of love and care.

The gunman who allegedly killed a personnel of the Directorate of Security Service (DSS) named Mr. Michael Orusede, in Cross River state has been arrested. The suspect was nabbed by a vigilante group in Obanliku Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that Mr. Orusede was stabbed to death while trying to disarm an irate gunman last Thursday in Sankwala, headquarters of Obanliku LGA.

The deceased was stabbed when he attempted to pick up a gun that was surrendered by the irate gunman who stabbed him in the chest.

The gunman had also in the process shot the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Obanliku Police Division, Mr. Effiong Okon, at close range before escaping from the scene of the incident but the officer was wearing a bullet proof vest, so nothing happened to him.

On Monday, the alleged gunman who was identified as Emmanuel Kpongkpong tried to escape to Cameroon but was arrested in the Bomaji Mountain in Boki LGA.

A fully loaded passenger bus plunged into a river along a flooded bridge in Rivers state. The incident happened on Tuesday (yesterday) along (Akala Olu) Okogbe-Mbiama axis, East-West road of Ahoada West local government area of the state.

It was gathered that an earlier attempt to rescue the passengers was difficult due to the high level of the flood and water current in the region. 

A call was made to the general public who alerted local divers, officers of the Nigerian police force. and Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC). 

With the help of these people, the bus was lifted from deep inside the water with the aid of a volunteered self loader.

According to reports, some passengers have been rescued. Seven passengers were rescued unconscious and rushed to a hospital. 

It was also disclosed that some passengers are still missing as the rescue mission continues.

Specially customised phones in support for the two main contestants in the 2019 presidential election, are set to flood the market.

The phones were designed separately to drum support from the citizens for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. 

The phones were also designed with the party's logos and motto as Nigerians ponder on who to vote for in the forthcoming election next year. 

Atiku beat 11 other contestants after polling 1, 532 to emerge as the winner of the PDP primary at the National Convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. 

President Muhammadu Buhari polled a total of 14, 842, 072 across the 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory during APC's direct Presidential Primary to emerge as it’s 2019 candidate.

Friends have taken to social media to mourn the loss of a hardworking staff of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), who was allegedly killed by a police officer near her residence in Maitaima area of Abuja. 

It was gathered that the deceased identified as Anita Akapson was shot dead on Saturday night by the police who claimed it was a case of 'mistaken identity'.

It was revealed that the family of the deceased has reported the issue at the police station but have not gotten any response.

This is coming months after one Miss Linda Angela Igwetu, a member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC who was shot dead by a police officer in July while on her way home with her friends in Abuja.

The late corper was killed a day before her Passing Out Parade...

A man from Ekiti state who was accused of using his daughter for money ritual after making attempts to rape her, has been finally apprehended.

According to reports, the man named Rufus Kehinde Daramola, who had been on the run since after he was summoned by traditional rulers over the money ritual accusation, was nabbed yesterday with the help of Oba justice Ademola Ajakaye, the Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti.

The 18-year-old daughter identified as Taiwo, passed away recently after suffering from an undisclosed sickness since January. 

It was earlier reported that the man made attempts to sleep with his daughter three times but failed but according to a relative, Omolayo Sussan Omowumi, the man allegedly slept with his daughter. 
 
It was gathered that after the suspect was nabbed, a Muslim cleric told everyone at the palace of the Oluyin that the daughter reportedly confessed to him before her death that her father slept with her but was afraid of telling her mum for the fear of being killed as threatened by her father.

He was alleged to have raped her with charm. 

The man also allegedly tried raping at least 3 of his wife’s younger sisters while the wife was with their daughter at the hospital.

The Muslim cleric also told people at the palace that if the man is left to complete his ritual and his money finally arrives, that his children will continue to die whether they are up to 100 in number. 

Mr Daramola who earlier denied being the father of the girl - said he never meant to commit the act. He was handed over to the police, right there in the palace yesterday.

A ghastly motor accident occurred yesterday in Nasarawa state, leaving many passengers seriously injured.

The group of catholic women were returning from the ordination of a priest before the motor accident which saw also the driver and others badly wounded. 

The former Minister of Information and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship aspirant, Mr Labaran Maku, was returning from Lafia where he met the accident. 

He stopped his convoy to help and use one of his vehicles to transport the wounded to a hospital in Lafia. He also paid their medical bills.

When will some ladies learn? A young lady got herself trending online in a bad way after her nude video was leaked online. According to multiple online users who posted the video, the Nigerian lady sent the nude footage to her lover via WhatsApp - who in turn leaked it allegedly after they had an issue.

In the video, the lady can be seen showing parts of her naked body while posing in a sexy manner. The young lady has now become a subject of mockery online over the leaked tape with many lambasting her.

Meanwhile, Nigerian women have been warned to avoid sending their nude pictures to male partners in the name of love or showing loyalty to them because there are syndicates of scammers and blackmailers that are out to exploit and defraud women like never before.

According to reports, the weapon of the scammers is the perversion of the basic human nature – promise of love and romance. It is love scam on a scale like never before and many women are falling hopelessly for it. Married and professional women are prime targets.
