felixomor: The main news was Esquire and I just showed u one lie they told on dr eben glasgow coma score
She didnt disagree She granted an interview and they ignorantly twisted her words on coma. Unfortunately, they messed up because they dont know the meaning of coma. The documented glasgow score of dr eben exposes them What were her words that they twisted on coma and what did she say to refute their claims and set the record straight? |

felixomor: His results were published Read please! Yet other experts disagreed? News paper publications said the Dr that trade him also disagreed and made contrary statements. What then are you talking about. Now you'll tell me that they lied by citing a blog post that did not specifically tell us what they said was wrong and that also did not give the correction and true statement from the Dr they claimed to interview. How can you interview someone without the person setting the record straight on a contentious issue? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheist Neurosurgeon Finds God After Near Death Experience. by dalaman: 1:29pm On Aug 15, 2017 |
felixomor: Read the story. For his septic state, i dont even need further information to ascertain if he was brain dead. His results says enough already.
Only the medically ignorant, will ask for more You are telling me to read a story that has been disputed by major new papers like the Washingtonpost the UK daily mail and the Esquire magazine as false. You then claimed that they lied and cited a website similar to a blog as your evidence without stating what specifically they lied about and the correction the Dr made to set the record straight. He claimed he was brain dead in the book. I want you to tell me if the Dr that treated him agreed with his claim because they reported that she disagreed. |

butterflylion: He wants a brain dead certificate given. He does not know that brain dead is a based on results from observations and not an actual certification.
The doctor that treated Eben Alexander was a dear friend to him because Alexander also worked in Lynchburg general hospital where he was rushed to.
She is as qualified as he is. So when she said her words were taken out of context she meant it. Where did the Laura Potter declare that he was brain dead. According to daily post she said he wasn't brain dead but you claim her words were twisted without stating what was twisted and her clarification to make the records straight. If he words were tested then tell us what was tested and the corrections she made to set the record straight. It's easy to tel lies but when asked about specifics you guys start baaing as always. |

felixomor: Olodo. Was "brain dead" the subject of the story? Besides, this patient had multiple tracings of EEG with no activity....
Please go and study what that means on neurons of the brain. The EEG showing no electrical activity in the brain simply means that brain function has stopped. Meaning the bring is dead. Which doctor declared and confirmed that Dr Eben Alexander was in such a state? |

That is already a lie told by esquire magazine because they dont know the meaning of coma just like u They dont know that a patient can be in coma and be restless....
Ignorant folks Ok let me grant you that. Just tell me the doctor that certified and declare that Dr Eben Alexander was brain dead. |

And in case you dont know A patient with Glasgow Coma score of 8 is in coma already Dr Eben had a score of 8. Please Read it very well.
You still want to hold on to straws? Shut up and stop repeating lies. What specifically did they lie about and what is Dr Laura Potters true position on what transpired? |

He will now start asking you to specifically tell him what she said was taken out of context. Watch and see. And when he asks that then that would confirm the zombie movement I have been talking about. Doctors mouth herself where? They claim the doctor said her words where twisted without even saying the wrods that were twisted and giving us her true position to correct the twisted words. She felt that Luke Dittrich had misrepresented what she had told him and taken her words out of context. She felt that he had led her to say certain things"....
You still want to grasp straws? What were the things she specifically compained about ? Your own link could be telling lies since they are in support of Dr Eben Alexander. This is just a general statement made to discredit the Esquire magazine but bring specifically was stated to challenge what they said. They made sure they gave the specific quotes of Dr Laura Potter. Why is your own link which is more of a blog post and not a reputable news source giving general statements? Yeye dey smell. |

butterflylion: It seems your brain is paining you. Shey ko si sha?
The reality is right there for everyone to see. Everyone except you that is! This is the reality my dear zombie, his brain imaging and activity chart was made available by Eben Alexander himself which though contrary to the ethics of medical practice he had to do for sake of proof.
His brain imaging and all show proof of absolutely no brain activity and this was confirmed by the same doctor who handled his case and any other doctor can come and view the same images and try to say otherwise (which they cannot).
Based on this simple truth which you deliberately wish to avoid and dodge and also based on the reality that hallucinations cannot occur in absence of brain activity. But the Doctors that treated him said he was never Brian dead. No doctor certified him brain dead . Dr. Potter also said Dr. Alexander didn’t slip into a coma from e. coli bacterial meningitis, as he claims in his book. Rather, doctors placed him in a medically induced coma and he maintained consciousness — albeit he was hallucinating, she said. http://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jul/3/doctor-who-penned-best-seller-proof-heaven-under-f/Show me where any of the Doctors that handled his case confirmed that he was brain dead with completely no brain activity. Show where they agree with him in respect to that. |

What can u not do to live in denial? Nothing Doctors said they placed him in a medically induced comma and didn’t slip into a coma from e. coli bacterial meningitis, as he claims. Once he came out of the coma he realized he could cash out of the situation and make some cool cash. |

I expected to see Lepasharon, AdePeters, Deicide here contributing acedemically. But no.
Where is JackBizzle? What's there to contribute. The guy has stated lies. Daily mail actually interviewed the Dr that treated him and these were her words. "For instance, Dr. Alexander recounts in one chapter how he screamed, “God help me,” the Daily Mail reported. But Dr. Laura Potter, the emergency room physician on staff the day he supposedly screamed that phrase said it didn’t happen. He had a tube down his throat that would have made such a scream impossible, she said, as the Daily Mail reported". " Dr. Potter also said Dr. Alexander didn’t slip into a come from e. coli bacterial meningitis, as he claims in his book. Rather, doctors placed him in a medically induced coma and he maintained consciousness — albeit he was hallucinating, she said". The entire testimony of his is shady. He was an out of work doctor that was involved in a 3 million dollar law suit during the time he was admitted into the hospital. He had so many reasons to invent stories for monetary gain. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Atheist Neurosurgeon Finds God After Near Death Experience. by dalaman: 9:03am On Aug 14, 2017 |
butterflylion: Your problem is simply zombification! So because an already well known atheist said God help me he suddenly was not an atheist originally?
According to Eben Alexander he slipped into a coma before he was sedated. And his NDE experience began immediately after that and it was in the course of this terrifying first experience of first being in a very dark tunnel he realised he was still alive in the spirit and well aware of his environment it suddenly dawned on him that the afterlife is real and fear made him cry out in his spirit "God help me" but he thought he also shouted it out loud for people physically to hear. If you had read the other website I posted you would have seen it all there.
Again I ask you, is it because an already known and well established atheist said God help me that then made him not originally an atheist?
I have read arguments from you atheist on Nairaland and a lot of you have said that atheists can say anything and even say "Oh my God" or "Oh Jesus" during sex or "Oh my God" when surprised but it was just an expression of passion or shock and not a belief in whom they mentioned. Or have you quickly forgotten such comments from your fellows?
If an atheist when frustrated says "Oh God" does that make him a believer?
The famous atheist Richard Dawkins in one of his debates consciously said Oh God when frustrated so I guess Dawkins was not also originally an atheist based on that comment ba? There a difference btw "ohh my God" as an exclamation and "God help me". The latter is a call on God for help. Very different things. |

Wehdone What kind of athiest shouts "God help me"? I doubt if he was ever an athiest. "In one of the book's most dramatic scenes, Dr. Laura Potter prepares Alexander to move from the ER to the ICU. In those final moments, after two straight hours of struggle—thrashing and guttural groans and wails—Eben Alexander grows quiet and shouts out, for everyone present to hear, " God, help me!" |
