It is only illegal because it affects your political moves.
Keep lamentating. Nigerians have moved to bring in PODATTI.
Everything is not about Obi/Datti. To buy anything is a huge headache for me personally.

How can I spend hours wasted in trying to make transfers for fuel, food, clothes shoes, undies, other stuffs like perishable food just because there's scarcity of cash.

Cash swap should be I need 100k of my money , it is my money oh, they now bring bags of coins of 500, 1k or 2k? And you are happy?

Do you know that people are dying? Pregnant women, sick people because even network is not to be trusted and hospitals only want cash?

To make hairdos, wahala... One will be looking around for salons that will take transfer. At the end of the day, transactions fit no happen.. it's exhausting and very frustrating

If you sell things you will know the complains that comes with transfers
Our GSM network isn't ready for online banking of these population.
Maybe this Starlink service will improve things .
The customers have to wait for confirmation of payment. And sometimes, the banks don't send sms
Don't mind that person. Which transfer? 70% of market people no dey take transfer. To-do transfer to the remaining 30%, your eye must see red. Spending a long time before your transactions go through.. very frustrating and a major time waster. Few traders will give you their goods maybe in desperation to sell their wares and trusting you to do right by making sure they get paid eventually

Why them they burn IBEDC join shey na dem dey supply New Note ni...

This people looks confused them need to pack dem all..

This one no be protest again na destruction mak dem allow election hold the next person go come change the stupid policy na jus few days more....
The protest I think is about institutions that are not doing their jobs thereby making life difficult for the masses e.g I heard people telling others not to vandalize a bank that the particular bank was paying people, so it was spared from destruction while others got vandalized.

NEPA is the worst ever especially with their estimated bills despite their total lack of commitment to providing constant supply of electricity... Inflated bills combined with no light must have been the motivating factor for dealing with them this way.

CBN took the worst step and made people face woes with no cash. To buy fuel, perishable food items and other things one needs cash to do.

Finally those involved in burning banks and other things no get sense sha. Bunch of mofos. Playing directly into the hands of people who do not want elections to hold.. stop it o undecided

Like someone said. Take around 490k to your bank for deposit. Give a family/trusted person with 210k to their bank or take it yourself to another account in another bank if you have 2 accounts with 2 different banks. You don't need to go-to CBN

They had more than 3 months to change those notes. Stop cooking excuses.

Even if u were a bank, 3 months is enough for u to change all ur old notes.
It is around 2 months. All the while that people were taking their old Naira to the banks. ATMs still dispensed same old Naira to those customers. CBN and commercial banks only released the scarce new notes to politicians and their esteemed customers because printed notes were not enough.

So don't blame anyone because conflicting orders came from CBN, commercial banks, governors, president, supreme court etc to confuse all and sundry on this poorly planned and illtimed cash swap. I don't know why anyone is supporting this last minute evil thing Buhari and Emefiele is doing to the masses

You were given 3months notice to deposit your old note but, refused believing there most be extension of deadline.

If Buhari like, let him extend the deadline to the next 10years, some people will still wait for die minute.

Is only dull brains that doesn't know that El-rufai is fighting for his personal pocket.
Many who took in their business money in millions still received old notes at the ATMs for the better part of those months

Buhari is the sole architect of this currency swap problem and it is causing the same untold hardship today that it caused in 1984 when people were committing suicide because of it.
Buhari is notorious for being a poor planner and for being extremely incompetent at executing policies.
We saw it with his poor implementation of the National Identification Number system, his poor implementation of the BVN, his poor implementation of SIM card registration and now his poor implementation of a completely unnecessary currency swap just a few weeks to a general election. We haven't even mentioned the crippling fuel scarcity which is happening under his watch as a self appointed minister of petroleum. I suppose Emefiele is to blame for that as well.

I'm not saying Emefiele is a Saint, but if he was a rogue element like people are accusing him of being, then why hasn't Buhari sacked him? Buhari sacked Lawal Daura as head of the DSS and he sacked Ibrahim Lamorde and Ibrahim Magu as chairmen of the EFCC.

So why is Emefiele still keeping his job if he is implementing a different policy from what Aso Rock wants?
Emefiele will pay, Buhari, his stooges and others behind this chaos will rot in jail
