You're too damn right, everything in Nigeria compared to the rest of the world is always different. That's exactly what's happening at National level. People ain't interested in the task at hand but their selfish interest is always their priority.

I'm really worried and need an advice.

The pictures attached are the chambers for my house. I got worried because the pipes for water and feaces are in the same chamber.
I called my plumber to inform him and he said that it's the way it's done.
I feel its not safe to do so. It's like running the water pipe through feaces with the fear of contamination.
Now it will be difficult for mortar to cover them.
I need an advice from professional plumbers on how to go about this?
Is this how it should be done?
Is it safe to do so?

You definitely need a third party plumber and brick layer to see how you can re route the water pipes.

l've just done mine last two weeks the electrical quoted almost the same quote with yours.
In short l will advise you to reduce the number of wires that he quoted where he wrote 20 buy 17 ,where he wrote 10 buy 8 do that to others too and made sure you are around with them when the work is going on if they need more you will buy more .

I was able to save over N300k after completing the job.
On the workmanship it just to much try and cut in between N180-200k.

Hmmm! I just tapped a very important lesson from your advise, am at same stage on my project. I got a quote of #1.113m for 2bedrom 4 flat all ensuite with visitors toilet. Wiring, fittings and labour. The conduit pipes as already been put in place.

40ft=12.8m,
39ft=11.89m,
23ft=7.07m,
12ft=3.66m,
20ft=6.10m

Go to your local Plank market or big saw mill around you. That was what i did and it worked out for me. If you're any where around

I don't think he's gaining anything in lying or bragging about the cost of building the project. The actual sense is; if you supervise a project
yourself, you will save tons of money. Am talking from experience. I saved over #1million on tiling alone just because i happen to travel to Naija
right about the commencement of the finishing stages and many other variation in the estimate i got before traveling and my been on ground. Just my own personal experience...
