made online payment on the 11th of this month, submitted the whole documnets on the 19th ... how many days/weeks do I have to wait before I get called upon for interview&capturing?? though I was told to wait for a text or call from NIS by the officer that attended to me...

go and bargain ur own... the person was badly duped. It’s not even upto that. And he is in bayelsa.. different offices... different rates... some people even pay less than 2k.

boss pls have gotten the application id and reference number, I tried to make payment without knowing that my balance is short of 1k so I couldnt initiate the payment, now I have I have deposited some money into the my account pls how do I get back and make the payment... cos the site keep taking me back to the home page thereby starting afresh.

there is no how you can process your Nigerian passport without those two... to save yourself the stress just pick a date out of your schedule and travel down to your home town and do the attestation there once and for all.

these are just trends that won't stand the test of time... no matter how many money cakes they make don't be surprised they still would make use of the normal cake too... nothing to be upbeat about here

u can go ahead with ur declaration of age document but keep in mind if it gets rejected, u might have to apply for a birth certificate from npc. Depending on ur bargainin power u can get it for 2k or less but try ur best u shud be able to use the age declaration.

hello house I want to apply for the Nigerian passport, but I'm kind of confused with birth certificate thingy cos I was born on 5th of Dec 1992(and its stated in the guidelines that people born from the december 1992 would only make use of birth certificate from NPC). I only have the declaration of age, I don't know if I should still go ahead with the registration online... and I hope it won't affect my application via DIY?

I tell people this, because of the massive corruption goin on in immigration office, stop waiting till u need the passport next week before coming here to complain and complain of not gettin booklet.

U are trying to break through a system which encourages corruption big time and as such it won’t be easy.

If u want to do ur passport, DIY method... and say u need it in 3 months or so, start now.. do not wait because u see this road cud get lonely, but in the end when u do all urself without enriching one cow and triumph and save ur money, you will understand how good all of this feels.
I encourage everyone to do as much as u can and read as much as u can on this thread. Barely few pages and some of us dnt want to read. DIY works in every state, I noticed it’s more in the southern states our ppl treat us this way... has anyone from the North come to complain of how no booklet or how he cudnt get thru the process?

No. Sorry to say, but this is the way it works in Nigeria and unfortunately in only part of our dear country. Stop complaining and pick urself up.

A lot of ppl have gone through ur path and dropped their experiences, u might learn one or two tricks in dealing/escaping the thieves.

your NIN, state of origin, birth cert/declaration of age, guarantors form(which would be downloaded online)....... about the cost? I'm not sure DIY is encouraged in that axis, except you can try lagos
