Same case with most of the ones in the list of 114. However some of the schools I mentioned started off as secondary schools muykem: Most of schools you guys are mentioned are not secondary school at inception but later upgraded to secondary school. |
Education › Re: 114 Oldest Secondary Schools In Nigeria. Is Your School Among. by Danat: 6:04pm On Jun 10, 2024 |
This list is not comprehensive. There's 5 secondary schools in the north that I know: Hill rest Jos (1944), CCG Plateau state (1934) BSS Plateau state (1950) GHS Plateau state (1958) there's one in Katsina where late Yar'adua attended. It was est in the 1920s. Many others too muykem: *114 OLDEST SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN NIGERIA*

delzbaba: Politicians will destroy all our institutions one by one ,, executive is gone already, legislative is dead on arrival,, Judiciary is already on life support, now they are currently mutilating ourtraditional system from Edo to Kano and so on. These institutions are just there because they serve as a link between the govt and the people. They've been destroyed a long time ago by the British who killed or deposed any traditional chief who did not carry out their instructions (same reason Gandollar removed Emir Sanusi). These Emirates and Kindgdoms were siezed from the real traditional rulers which was the class of King Jaja, Oba Kosokpo, Oba Overamuen etc, and replaced with rulers ready to obey instructions. The Obas and Emirs of today are descendants of these willing-to-obey class. Otherwise you'd wonder why the state governor can appoint and remove any 1st class, 2nd class or 3rd class chief, can create or dissolve Chiefdoms. |

The Nigerian Senate is a cult of sophisticated shameless looters who bows to the dictates of the executive arm of government, an anomaly never recorded anywhere else on the planet. It's better to avoid Hadiza Bala-Usman's performance appraisal o. |

Adeniran1792: but which month will the payment start, is it after 3month or 6 month Just relax and wait for what you get, or say the agency here so experienced people can chip in. Not all agencies pay from the month on your APL, or even the month of capturing. I got Apl in Feb '22 and it was Carrying 5th January. However I wasn't paid Untill May, which was only one month and that's when I was called to resume. |

Mohisah: Can u in a line of answer quote the entry allowance of NCC for just Admin staffs, Not to tlk of ICT guys salary?
When you tlk of bribe u shld look at what NCC is generating as revenue, how much more do u knw of regulations lobby. Don't u knw NCC stood a bigger chance to chop big funds frm Telecoms Firms? A single law can crash d market of any service, so GM of those companies normally host deir bosses to knw wayforward😊.
If u can quote me or mail me d earnings of EFCC n d backyard runs dat u re braggin of, I'll give u evry full details of NCC payslip, hidden allowances + last quarter of the year packages frm different telecommunications as weldone🤣🤣🤣
5billion is a change to wht men re hittin dwn d other agency. D day u receive employment der, ur story of suffering don end unless u wish to go more higher.
I've sn where a guy swapped frm Ncc to Nuprc, it not because of pay, but target. Nuprc can offer him ideas abt oil market n he can then help his family n friends out by mkin it a swift one to trade in such business.
No reason am bro, EFCC is still a bby to NCC in anythin funds. Small ncc packs fit run to 10-20m+ if I'm sayin d truth😊 Efcc go hustle wit deir 400k+, if u re not in operative, how u wan tk get dat operational allowance stuff. In ncc una money sure with bumper allowance and dem go still go for training, seminars etc Please brother I'm In a federal higher institution now and there's nothing coming apart from 100k salary over a year now. I am trying to work my way out. Please help me with the Salary Range and alloeances+ working conditions of Admin staff In NCC. Thanks |

Gabicon20: The president of Nigeria and his team of advicers are no fools sir. The bulk of Nigeria's security problem now is internal not external(BANDITRY, KIDNAPPING, TERRORISM; bokoharam, esn, unknown gunmen e.t.c.) the president deploying his best security brain to the lead agency in charge of internal security is by no means inapproipate unless of course u're rating the NSCDC as one vigilantee group whose primary functions are unknown 2u. His experience in external security will help him to collaborate with relevant agencies in cutting off foreign sponsorship of crime in Nigeria while delivering on the core mandates of the NSCDC. BAT is only thinking out of the box. If you follow security related happenings, you'll understand that internal security is the duty of and responsibility of the police. Al-Mustapha himself is an advocate of leaving internal security to the police and territorial/sovereignty matters to the Army. He's spoken about the unnecessity of NSCDC and other seemingly duplicate agencies. Meanwhile NSCDC is limited in terms of what the Law allows it to do, and that would need strong political will to amend (senate/reps). All I'm saying is Al Mustapha's expertise (which is in no way questionable), will be very key and helpful in Nigeria's current security situation, Just not as NSCDC boss. Infact he'd be better of as an adviser to the president |

Al Mustapha's expertise would be underutilised. He'd be infact limited. DSS, NIA etc that's where he'll perform |

Until he's given a slot if not, he can't just walk abt writing for slot at top places where recruitment is minimal.
