Crime › Update On The Kogi Tax Collector Who Killed A Truck Driver. by Dandsome(op): 2:40pm On Oct 18, 2017
In addition to the earlier thread on Frontpage about a tax collector who killed a driver.

Government should stop using touts to do some jobs for them.

The tax collector actually demanded N2000 from the driver but the driver said what he had was N1000 because the truck broke down earlier and he didn't have any extra money on him.

An argument ensured and then the tax collector used a plank with nails (which they put under tyre of a vehicle from stopping from moving) and hit the man on the neck. The man died from that.

What angered the people there was the motor boy there held the suspect but the police man with the tax collector there aided the man to escape.

The other truck drivers blocked the road, dismantled the check point and used it as bonfire to block the road for commuters. They said they want to see the killer before they open the road.

Since the killer wasn't coming forth they said PMB must come there to settle them. They later changed the demand to governor must come and also demanded N50 million compensation.

We thought it was joke, they kept us there until the deputy governor came and settled them.

I saw them pursuing a plain clothed police officer who came with a gun. They almost burnt army hilux.

They were also beating anyone taking pictures of the body. But as a sharp man, hitting the volume button on the Tecno Camon CX will take a sharp shot that's how I got pic of the body covered with mat. Get yourself one or wait for the next phantom. (don't worry I respect the dead so won't show pictures of the dead man cry)

Yellow truck is the truck the man was driving.

However, the road has been opened and it's clear now.

Source : I was there

okonja:
This samething happened last year November when I was travelling home, A soldier shot a trailer driver in the head just by the Muritala Muhammed bridge because he gave him N400 instead of fixed N500 bribe charged from trailers....the road was blocked by other trailers from 12pm till 8pm at sameday when Yahaya Bello came before they allow passage.
Yes that's true.

The governor paid over a N100 million for that.

Phones › Rumored Details On The Specs Of The Next Phantom Series (Photos) by Dandsome(op): 8:51am On Oct 13, 2017
TECNO Mobile, has dropped a hint on the social media about its next flagship device. After launching series of the low-end devices like Spark K7, WX3, and others, the brand is set to announce a new Tecno Phantom phone that will be unveiled on October 22, 2017 in Dubai.

The new device will be added to the Tecno phantom series, which kicked off with Phantom 5 few years ago. This could be the perfect Christmas gift we've all been waiting phone, as the yet-to-be announced phone poses as a successor to last year's Tecno Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus.

There is no official confirmation of the new device's name at the moment, but it could be called "Tecno Phantom 8", with the sister (upgraded) version coming as "Phantom 8 Plus".

In terms of specifications, the flagship smartphone might feature a 6-inches display, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB ROM, fingerprint scanner, and Android 7.1 Nougat. According to image renders, it looks like the phone will feature dual rear camera setup of 21 megapixels.

The Tecno next Phantom will surely going to be another crown jewel Smartphone. In the sense that the Phantom series is the only Ffagship of Tecno Mobile. The recent device of the Flagship family Phantom 6 Plus has remained a Beast and it is hoped that the New Phantom 8 will be a super Beast. Meanwhile, if you want to enjoy major goodies that follow a smartphone like privilege to upgrade to any latest Android OS earlier, always buy flagships. Users of Phantom 6 Plus are privileged to receive OTA Upgrade to Android 7.1.1 earlier because their device fall within the flagship family of Tecno Mobile and it is highly hoped that Phantom 6 Plus and the upcoming Phantom 8 will receive OTA Upgrade to Android O. The Next Phantom may even originally come with Android O.

Until official confirmations, let's keep our fingers crossed, and take this opinion with a pinch of salt.

Culled from TECNO Spot.

Eventually, what did the army achieve?

Did they make the place more peaceful than they met it?

What was their aim of going there in the first place?

Leaving there now doesn't make sense. They should be there until they achieve the desired results unless if the aim is to intimidate civilians, kill innocent people and then ridicule the name of the army.

THE ACCOUNT OF THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE KING AND CHARLES THE SON OF OPUTA (Chapter 1) cheesy grin

1. And it came to pass that on the 7th day of the 8th month of the third year that king Buhari ascended to the throne of the kingdom that trouble broke out in the land for the king suffereth affliction.

2. And he departed to seek medication in a foreign country for his affliction was grave that the host of physicians in the land Faileth to cure.

3. And he proclaimed to the people saying, "I present unto thee this day Yemi, the son of Osinbanjo, my deputy who shall sit upon this throne and rule in my stead till I be made whole of my affiliation. All these that the book of the law might be fulfilled.

4. But after he hath tarried to come for ninety days and ninety nights that the people murmureth against the king.

5. And they saith one man to the other; howbeit the king took pleasure in a foreign land when his kingdom lieth dissolate?

6. For the king bringeth much tribulation upon us and yet taketh refuge in a foreign land where he took counsel and make merry with foreign noble men.

7. But many said, surely, the king hath gave up the ghost to joined his fathers for no physician can make him whole of his affliction

8. And Charles, by the name Charlie Boy, who was also called Area Father, the son of Oputa, a noble man who judgeth over the people and dealeth deligently according to his duty before he rest with his father when he was old and full of age, took counsel among the people

9. For Charles is popular among the people for he ministereth in psalms with timberel, string instrument and organs and lived northward of the city of the great king. He rideth great horses of iron.

10. And he declared according to this words unto the people. "Brethren, I beseech thee this day, arise and gird thy loins for we shall march even unto the fountain of unity in the city of the great king.

11. And we shall march across the streets of the city even to the court of the great king and proclaim this words saying, 'return O ye king to thy kingdom to rule over thy people or ye shall be no king over us' .

12. And he named the congregation of men that followeth him "Our Mumu Don Do" which is translated to mean "enough of our folly"

13. For seven days and seven nights they marched upon the streets of the city and declared according to the words of Charlie Boy. But the watch men of the city contendeth with them and Charles fell upon his face.

14. And a certain adviser to the king by the name Garba the son of Shehu who dweleth in the court of the king declareth these words saying:

15. Verily verily I say unto thee, the king is made whole of his affliction and shall return to rule over the kingdom soon. Moreso, he dealeth diligently according to the books of the law before his sojourn to the foreign country. In like manner declareth Lai the son of Mohammed.

16. And it came to pass that when Charles the son of Oputa and his men marched unto the market of Wuse to to declare their message that the brethren of the king who buy and sell therein were wroth with anger

17. And they saith one man to the other, let us take hold of Charles that we might put him to death, even the son of Oputa, for he bringeth reproach upon the king.

18. And when they came to take hold of him by the garment so they may behead him, that he ran and escaped from amongst them. Not a few stones were cast upon him that day.

19. At the twilight of the next day, Charles who is also called Area Father, rose and declared to his congregation, be still for we shall put a hold on this march until the Spirit leadeth.
