Romance › Romance - A Must Read For Every Woman On Nairaland. Single Or Married. by Dandsome(op): 10:22am On Aug 05, 2016
If you are dating a married man with kids,
you are the reason his wife sleeps late at night, waiting for him to come home late,
you are the reason his wife cries every night,
you are the reason he does not come home to his family,
you are the reason he does not take care of his family,
you are the reason he does not eat at home anymore,
You are the reason he has not touched his wife for months, Yet everyday and night, you kneel down and pray to God to give you a faithful husband when you are making another woman's husband unfaithful.

You pray for a caring and loving man when you have succeeded in diverting the LOVE and care of another woman's husband.
You pray for a good home when you are
destroying another woman's home.

Ask yourself this question:"WITH THIS KIND OF ATTITUDE OF MINE, WILL GOD GRANT MY REQUEST ?

"WILL I BE HAPPY WHEN I GET MARRIED?

To me I know my God does not grant selfish request and prayers.
"God said in His word that we should do unto others, that which we will want them to do to us.
DEAR LADIES, Wake up, wise up, grow up and say NO to sugar daddies, do not be deceived by money and material things, you have nothing to benefit, for everything is VANITY upon VANITY.
THINK ABOUT IT. It is just an advice. Please read and share with others...

Happy weekend.

I know some people will ask for my head. But no wahala

Seun, lalasticlala, farano, rocktation and others please kindly take note of those who will attack me.

Romance › What's The Bravest Thing You Have Ever Done? by Dandsome(op): 9:18pm On Aug 03, 2016
Back then in secondary school (boarding school) while I was reading one Saturday morning, I noticed students were running away from a particular part of the class room block.

I looked out from the window and asked a student what was wrong. He then told me there was a snake in one of the classrooms.

Now, me being the curious type, I decided to see for myself. Other students stopped to see this "person" that is going towards where everyone is running from.

They showed me the particular class and I looked carefully before entering hoping that it's one small snake like that.

Lest I forget, my school is a mixed school (boys and girls).

As I come de look around, ladies and gentlemen see one big black snake for one corner of the wall. Now, the big snake I'm talking of is the 35% of the snake I could see. The other 65% of the snake is inside the hole in the wall o.

Liver fail me sharp sharp. I wanted to give up and run away too. I was just in ss1 and my seniors wey de around there don vamoose come de peep from afar.

As I turn back come see people looking at me as one hero already, and even wey girls don de hail me. I no feet fall my hand na.

I summoned courage. Courage is not the absence of fear, it is the presence of fear, yet still going on.

I got a stick and started flogging hell outta the snake. Since it couldn't continue going in, it started to come out hoping to finish the idiot flogging it (me)

I continued until about 75% of the body was outside. The courage I had faded away. I had to gather fresh courage cos I knew that if I stopped at that point, it's suicide mission.

When the neck region came out I flog nonsense comot from him body until it stopped moving. I slowly brought it out and smashed the head.

Brothers and sisters, it was a cobra. shocked The over sabis there said it was 15 yrs old based on they counted 15 colours on the belly which I saw too. But all I know is that It was around 5-6 ft long.
We just cut off the head and buried it. Nobody used it as pepper soup grin

Well that's my story. It might not mean anything to you but it meant something to me especially as I did it as a small teenager

Over to you, What's the bravest thing you have ever done?

Seun, and lalasticlala can also share their own story.

Lastly,

Warnings

If dealing with venomous snakes, you might want to contact professionals from the start. Handling poisonous snakes is a dangerous action that could result in a snakebite and a hospital visit. For that reason, it is often best left to professionals.

Do not use mothballs to deter snakes. Not only are they toxic if consumed by pets or kids, but it is also illegal to use them to deter snakes. Mothballs are pesticides registered by the EPA. As such, they must be used as indicated on the label. Any off-label use is a violation of Federal law. No mothball product is registered for this use.

11. Lay traps. If you suspect that you already have a snake, or are worried about any snakes that might have snuck in before you took measures to repel them, you can set up mechanical traps or glue traps in your basement or garage. Before setting these traps up, though, you should contact your local animal control officer or state wildlife agency to make sure that the procedure is done safely and legally.

Science/Technology › Re: How To Keep Snakes Away by Dandsome(op): 9:19am On Aug 03, 2016
10. Put up snake proof fencing. The effectiveness of snake proof fencing might depend on the type of snake you have in your area and how it commonly travels, but there are specialized types of fencing that have proved effective against many types of snakes. You can look into constructing a snake-proof fence yourself, or you can hire a professional to do it for you.
