XBLadez: You only see things from one angle, definitely the one that favours you. Can you quantify the weight of investments the Igbos have built in the Yoruba states, thus helping them develop their land. How many Yorubas invest in the SE? And yet you'd be the first to chant 'One Nigeria'. It's an issue of "wash my hand and I wash yours". We help you develop your land.....the list you can do for us is award us small titles. If Igbos eventually leave Lagos, people would start renting flats 10k per annum In your heart of heart, you and I know that the kind of opportunities in terms of investment that the yorubas have in the east are limited. An ibo man would hardly sell a piece of land to a Yoruba man in the east. The same thing does not apply in the west. And then you talk about ibos helping to build Yoruba land. In what ways sir? Is it in terms of road construction or schools? The truth is, the Yoruba land developed faster , in terms of infrastructure, than any other region in the country : The first universities, the first TV station etc, so it's normal that it became an investment haven for others. More so, everybody has almost equal opportunities in yorubaland irrespective of your tribe. |

Rose2014: Sorry I mistook your moniker for one Yoruba guy like that
However You don't get my point What's the point of investing outside Igbo land(in the name of one Nigeria) and watch it go down the drain because of one cartoon in Denmark? Let me ask u one question sir. If you were born Yoruba or Hausa, would you commit suicide? It marvels me the way people go about this issue of tribalism. Now, the ibos are agitating for Biafra, pls who are going to b their leaders if eventually they succeed? Is it not still these present Igbo leaders? Are they better in terms of integrity than any other leaders from other parts of Nigeria? The truth is, most of our leaders are bad irrespective of tribe! I'm not saying you should not be a tribalist, but just remember that nobody had a chance to choose his tribe. Again, I am Yoruba, and I dare say that the kind of privilege igbos enjoy in Yoruba land, a Yoruba can never enjoy such in Igbo land. Ibos have been commisionners , held various positions. In fact, the university where I graduated, on two occasions, ibo guys became the SUG president, not to talk of faculty and departmental presidents. I have been to the east, a Yoruba guy can never be given such opportunity. We should be realistic. This tribalism must stop! I could have been created Fulani after all! |

Michellla: damn flawless skin. lord i need this As much as I won't like to fault ur request from God, I just feel there are better things to ask for, or better still, thank God for what you have. Have you seen a burns victim before? Or a severely injured victim of road traffic accident with multiple lacerations and fractures? Or an amputee? These people's life don't usually remain the same afterwards. Am not trying to claim 'holier than thou', but these are what I see everyday, and I have learnt to appreciate my being. I thank God that I am still 'complete'. |

The answer is simple. It's much easier to transform to a female. It's much easier to create the breasts hormonally and the vaginal surgically. Scientists have still not been able to create the penis. To grow breasts, all you need is oestrogen, That's all. |

Bonapart: before your for Fathers and their dirty idols, the bible was already in existence... when you get to where they are you ask them that question. am sure they're in right position to answer you This is supposed to be an intellectual conversation. When you raise a good point, nobody argues it. See, if u had lived at the time those forefathers lived, you would have worshipped the idols and partook in the 'dirty' traditions. Meanwhile, the traditions were not all about idol-worshipping . There were so many beautiful things about the tradition. Calling the traditions dirty is , at best, obnoxious. |

Bonapart: Tradition: one of the straight part to hell
Refrain from it and be saved haha, that's funny. Is it every part of our tradition that is bad? Are you saying all our forefathers who never heard about Jesus that would be condemned to hell? We don't have to sound dogmatic before we sound reasonable. |

This is not a fair report. The pastor didn't cause the stampede or the death. According to you, the roof of the stadium caved in. so, why are u being mischievous with that title? It's baffling when we condemn our ourselves and begin to throw dusts when the white people paint us black. We are our own enemies: always in pursuit of the other person's downfall! |

I don't know how he does it, like 7 children born out of wedlock, oh it's Tuface, no one bats an eye...
Just one child from the likes of Wizkid n Davido, we tag them irresponsible and call them all manners of names
Hypocrisy at best. [/color] Well, u may be right. But 2face had two options that he didn't go for: one was to make those girls terminate the pregnancies or deny responsibility outright . I think to some extent, the guy has some sense of responsibility, more so that he married one of the 'baby mamas'. |

Igbos, stop marrying from other tribes that are not Igbo. They are making you loose your unique identity.... Be full blooded Igbo... Not mixed Igbo!! Sir, what would you gain in being tribalistic? Just ask yourself, did anybody choose his/her tribe? what if you had been Hausa or Yoruba , would you commit suicide? It's a pity, big pity! |
