This is my experience with a runs girl..Please mind my typos ; I usually get stressed while typing for long....Last year was when I got into 200Level in UNILAG..We usually ballot for hostel(Very stressful) It is Then that you’ll know that your 4G is very slow because of the traffic on site at that moment.Everyone will struggle to get a bedspace...After all my effort balloting for hostel for days,I didn’t get one,it was very painful cause I live far from Lagos..Fast forward to the day school almost resumed;I saw a message from one of the accommodation groups on my WhatsApp that a guy wants to see his bedspace,so we negotiated and I packed all My luggages to School first day of resumption(Was trying to avoid house chores pressure) ...I got to School, after calling the accommodation guy severally,he made it up to me that he no longer wants to sell his bedspace..I was so broken,I waited outside from morning till evening because there was no where to keep my stuff and none of my friends had resume...I later begged one of the hostels potters and he decided to help me keep my stuff for the night but he said I can’t sleep in the hostel as I’m not a Bonafide...It was around 7pm when I decide to buy some chicken and chip,I didn’t finish it,kept the remaining in the white Nylon..I was just wandering around the School,I had no where to sleep..But I believe I’ll crash somewhere las las;I no be fresher na!!! I decided to take a strol to Our Lagoon front around 8pm where I sighted one girl..I’m a super-shy guy when it comes to girls issues but I summoned courage to meet her! I was like hello! She said Hi!! After the normal greetings,I ask for her name and what she was doing out at the time; She said she just came to chill...Before you know it omo,she ask me if she could smoke here...

TravelRe: "Relocating To Canada Is A Huge Achievement" - Nigerians by Daniiel: 10:45am On Jan 04, 2021
Eriokanmi:
Come back 15 years later and share your Canada experience with us young man cheesy. But when you come back, hope you'd not hide when you see your friends and mates you left behind Progress grin.

Nigeria is a land of opportunities to only those who have the inner eyes to see one. Nothing can ever make me take such a decision of relocating. If you want to go, bye-bye but you'd spot the difference in later years if you choose to remain there . Why not apply same spirit on developing yourself here? Go there for studies and come back with opportunities. I'd like to cite a few examples below on some of us who came back, against all odds.

1- I've been around the globe, even acquired certificates, up to 4 different ones and some training skills in amazing facilities. I came back with an opportunity which is seriously proferring solutions to our problems in Nigeria. No manager in the leading oil and gas company in Nigeria can match my worth...no be bragging matter. I don hobnob with world leaders, including Barack Obama. I'd have regretted it, had I stayed back.

2-Anyone who goes to one of the old generation banks would see an inverter with battery banks on one side of their banking hall, powering their atms... its as a result of an innovation brought home by my uncle. He left union bank for Atlanta in the 90s, got employed at Walmart as stores officer. One day, as he was going home branched at a newspaper vendor( a mexican) booth to read papers as usual and there he spotted an Inverter company located in Arlington. I'm mentioning it as it is so people could check it out. Its called Trace Engineering, later changed their name to Xantrex. He applied to them to be their rep in Nigeria to solve the epileptic power supply in critical sectors but they refused his application for 3 reasons. One, that the product was new to Africa and 2ndly, that being black, it would be impossible to convince his people on adopting the technology. 3rdly, that they weren't ready to expand beyond the shores of America as at that time. He felt disappointed. 2 months later, they called and told him they had reconsidered his application and invited him for 2 weeks training after which he was asked to come to Nigeria with demos to show to his prospects.

Long story cut short, his friends of Nigerian decent blasted him, they said his village people had come calling. He summoned courage and left America with almost nothing. On getting home, he started from his 1-room apartment he left behind. He went to companies, the CBN and other places in government too. CBN told him they had constant power supply with 3 standby automatic switch generators so, they'd not need his ideas. He told them but its free, they now allowed him to install one at their IT dept. 6 months later they had issues with their generators as there were a major power outage from national grid so they over fired the generators. They all packed up within same time. They had to order parts from abroad but then they needed to keep their IT dept running to prevent loss of files. The moment the 3rd gen stopped , all the directors were panicking, rushed to the IT room only to find out that the staff were working as normal with lights on. The called my uncle over, thanked him for saving them a major disaster and gave him a contract to install the inverter on all the CBN branches nationwide. Shortly after that, the atm revolution came and CBN recommended this man to all banks starting from the old generation banks...this man won a global distributor of the year 4 times and was invited with family to the USA for an award each time. His colleagues back then can't even near him in anything. Rather he gives them money on each visit. If you want to go...go and school or you spend a little time and while you're there, study the environment, study our challenges back home and you'd not regret leaving for home ultimately.

A friend is talking with sanwoolu on ocean transport from ikorodu to lagos Island now and discussion is at advanced stage . He's worked with a similar company abroad for some years now and now he wants to tap into the opportunity and the company is ready to fund this project 100%. When you see his private jets or copter hovering ahead of you tomorrow you see him on forbes list, don't say money why...while working in the biting cold over there.

Kenny and D1 would have stayed put and remained stagnated. See the duos balling today. Their contribution to the entertainment industry is invaluable. These are the people we know. There are several other successful guys out there who took a similar decision.

My 50cents had been given...
we Nigerians have a slave mindset ... and nobody wants to contribute at all ... just consumers every where no production going. No place like home ... and Nigeria is very green . even the number citizen of Canada can't match up with a common senator here .... na just camera pictures we see and hyping abroad

RomanceRe: My Husband Set Me Up Please I Need Your Assistance by Daniiel: 7:35pm On Dec 22, 2020
ollymooreagain:
My husband set me up.

There is this man who began chatting with me around April. The man is handsome and with money. He began showering me with nice messages and slowly graduated to gifts.

We hadn't met but finally we met and I liked him more. Slowly we began planning on some romantic out and finally we booked a hotel out of town. I took myself there, weekend daytime. I had lied to my husband am going to visit a cousin of mine who lives there.

We got to the hotel and went to the room. We showered and we got to bed. However just as we began having romance, the door got banged so hard. The man seemed scared but went to open the door.

My husband came inside and found me naked. He told me: now I have proven that you aren't faithful to me. He told me it was all a set up to try me since he has always suspected me that I would cheat given the chance.

The man admitted it was true he was hired to try me. He dressed up and both my husband and him left. I felt so much ashamed I didn't go home but went to my mothers place and haven't told her why am there. The children are with my husband.

How do I solve this one? Am so confused I blame myself though.

Pls leave your comments in the comments section.
So sad ... start looking for another husband asap ... cos if you back na hell be that .

FamilyRe: How I Ended My Relationship With A Married Man by Daniiel: 5:28pm On Dec 12, 2020
Heartbrokengirl:
I have always hated the idea of dating married people, but here I am...the ex-girlfriend of a married man.

It started sometime during the lockdown, I went somewhere to get groceries and ran into this man. Let’s call him Mr X. His smile and sense of humour was the attraction. He was putting on a nice senator material and when I stood for us to leave, he towered above me. I am a 6ft tall lady and ladies with my height can tell the happiness when you meet a taller man.

We started chatting regularly and we were in a competition to give ourselves treats. On our second date which I initiated, I asked his age and he replied 36, he asked mine and I told him. He expressed his doubts and I showed him my drivers license. Started asking many questions about my background and I answered all of them. I asked about him too, including his marital status.

I had just gotten out of a relationship, his father said he wouldn’t marry outside the Catholic church and he started drifting, I had to let him go. It was tough for me, but after months of keeping to myself, my friend encouraged me to go on dates and give another man a chance. I decided to give Mr X a chance.

It was beautiful. We were in a competition to please ourselves, take ourselves out and we both had a healthy sense of humour...chatting was fun!!! Everywhere we went, people stared. We were all over ourselves even in public and till date I wonder how he pulled that off.

One day his office had a party and he asked if I could come, I said yes. Got there and the guys were looking at me with lust, the ladies were looking at me with pity. He said the ladies were jealous of my looks and some of them have been crushing on him. If you see him and see me, you’ll understand why this explanation made little sense.

After the party that day, it was late to go back to my house and his house was farther, so we decided to book a hotel around. That night was our most intimate night. We kissed, he gave me leg massages, a head and said he is ready when I am ready. I was blown away. Could this be real?

I always noticed he would be lost in thoughts whenever we are together and blame it on work. Other times he will start feeling sick and I would have to close earlier to go give him food and drugs. This became a regular occurence until one day…

He had fallen sick as usual. I made him promise to take pain relievers and we should consider going to the hospital. He didn’t do this and I had to make out time within the week to go check on him. He said it is because he was missing me, how sweet!

He didn’t get better, it was obvious something was bothering him. I decided I will take him for lunch so we can talk about it, but he couldn’t wait. That night he said he has something to tell me, he kept apologizing but still couldn’t say it. He asked if he could send a voice note and I told him to go ahead.

At about 3mins into the voice note, I felt my world crumbling. He told me he was married and has been married for almost 10years with kids. His family was not in the country, that is why I never saw traces of them. He said he had been battling with the guilt and was scared to tell me because some other girl left when she found out and the last was with him for money. He knew I would leave and was scared, his best friend told him to give it time, another told him to ghost me but I have been good to him and his conscience won’t let him. Other friends said he should never mention it to me.

When my friend saw him, she told me he was going to hurt me. I asked her how and she said I was too innocent for him. She didn’t say further not to be termed hater, but since he made me happy again...she wished me well.
just increase the cycle of ur male friends (Real Gs) u wud get used to the street .... life ain't fair atimes so u don't always need to be fair always . I had alot of principles but after some life experiences I flushed em all . just avoid attachment ... read stoic books and minimalism.
