Vision101: See your life. You went to church and all that you will crave for is to start selecting between older sister and younger sister.
Fear God. Sex is addictive. The more you have it the more you crave for it. You can never have enough.
At the end you discover that it's vanity after it has caused so much destruction. This generation should think less of sex.
Relax... no one mentioned sex through out the whole thing. Didn't you see I said I turned down her advances
Every addiction is destructive. |

Met two sisters a while ago in church, for some reason, the older one got my no and has been calling me almost every day. Meanwhile, I ve always wanted the younger one-she is my full spec for a serious relationship, I just did not get a chance to bond and get her contact.
Recently, the older one tried a few more advances which I turned down. I ve planned to clear her straight that I am not interested, but I am not sure how to go about it as of course these are siblings. I really like younger sis, but I feel I am not sure how to proceed with this.
I feel the recent move older sis pulled will sabotage any meaningful relationship I want to have with the younger sis in future |

darqly: Well, she wanted a commitment after 3 months and I was like wait for abit, lets give it one year and see. Then she comes over to my family house and well, my mum disapproved. Then I was put in the middle, "If you luv me, you'll or you won't, " kind of situation. I really can't handle those sort of choices or lets say I refused to be drawn into it. I know I love this girl, she's my friend too, and she's so nice to be around. Now she doesn't want to even speak to me anymore, can't blame her too much though. How did it go for you over time, cos I am in similar situation? |

This guy Chumaz is just a snake and poison. I m just glad your friends figured it out early, so they've used your real character to learn a significant life's lesson. You are a horrible person and the truth is that you will never know peace till you sit and admit you truly hurt your friend.
One thing you can't run away from is self-deception.
It's even funny how you tell him you are trying to be civil.. For real? who is civil with things of the heart. You really want to have a civil discussion after been caught so you can play the sanctimonious role out of it. You only came here to look for pity. You are evil. Period. I know some of you and the way I handle your type, you d live the rest of your life around me on eggshells.
Man you ve been exposed for who you truly are to yours friend. A snake and poison and will never know peace till you admit your part in it. It is not a curse, it is nature.
Ps.. It doesn't justify any form of threat or violence

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: An Employer Asking Applicant About His Salary In His Previous Work.is It Right? by Daniwes: 10:35pm On Jan 13, 2021 |
Tapout: Personally I feel that question is very unethical and should be eradicated. It's like you (a recruiter/Hr) calling a cobbler ( job applicant ) to amend your shoes and instead of bargaining with him/her, you start asking how much he collected from a previous job, Considering the fact that there's always a 90% possibility you already have an idea of how much it will cost. Nobody goes to the market without having an idea of the cost of goods and services. Technically speaking, that's a fraudulent Question!!! I'll will always answer it's confidential too because actually, it is confidential. Exactly. It's simply unethical, perhaps the company should also disclose how much the previous person in the position earned and why they left. In these companies, if employed, they ask you not to disclose your salary with colleague. Sort of corporate slavery |

Yustash001: Thanks for your kind words....
Fuuny enough, they were all contended with the I answered the questions, to the extent that one of them even complemented me by saying he loves the way I stood my ground
So the chance of me getting the job is above 80% A little tip too. Employers worth their salt- I mean not these mushroom HR staff on this thread- know and expect employees to negotiate on initial offers. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: An Employer Asking Applicant About His Salary In His Previous Work.is It Right? by Daniwes: 9:26pm On Jan 12, 2021 |
Angelfrost: It's a simple question sometimes intended to test your integrity... Ignoring the question even when asked orally was wrong.
There really shouldn't be that much secrecy with regards to previous salary... How can his integrity be comprised because he chose not to divulge personal information? It is ann application for a new role and anything from the past that should really matter is his past experiences that he will bring. What he was paid is just no one's business. If that's the case employees should be told what their manager earns for openess and "integrity" |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: An Employer Asking Applicant About His Salary In His Previous Work.is It Right? by Daniwes: 9:14pm On Jan 12, 2021 |
Cblessing: You goofed bro! The question is very formal.
You ended up exhibiting ignorance and a bit of arrogance.
You may still be called for the job, God on your side.
Do not make this kind of mistake again in future. There is nothing arrogant at refusing to disclose past salary. Companies don't disclose all about themselves before hiring either |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: An Employer Asking Applicant About His Salary In His Previous Work.is It Right? by Daniwes: 9:06pm On Jan 12, 2021*. Modified: 9:22pm On Jan 12, 2021 |
AntiWailer: They are not scarce to get bro. Na the skill set dey scarce.
It is not a big deal to answer what u earn currently and also insist on what offer u will consider.
When u grow to that level u will reveal with ease and even let them u have existing liabilities to pass to then where necessary. Haha.. when I grow to what level Sir.. Anyway it's a faceless forum, and no point disclosing what I currently earn. I ll admit, my advice may not always work for a fresh hire that needs experience, however anyone who has had a bit of experience, should never disclose this. A job application is not a friendly meeting. It is where you decide how much you will be initially measured off and any subsequent increases will be based of that. Companies don't give a massive bump on your initial salary unless with a significant role change. Your comment is indeed funny tho. In fact, the higher you go, you find two employees in the same position, with same skills are not paid the same. People need to question why companies expect their staff to be confidential with each other about their salaries, but expect new applicants to disclose this. |
