U can be sure one the reasons why you are reading all this about covenant uni is that high fees.

Higher education funding is not beans and never for the faint hearted. Most first grade university education is not cheap anywhere in the world. If it's cheap? Somebody somewhere is paying u can be sure. Yes there should be scholarship for high performing and indigent church members. But never low fees or cheap education. If the fees are very affordable and the school becomes self financially. unsustainable. The same church members will soon start complaining over the burden of contributing to sustain CU.

The difference between CU n ur normal
secular university in nijja is that CU generates the money internally and shrewdly accounts n reinvests it in the school according to their vision, while secular collects same form Govt and squanders it dubiously without any vision n commitment.

Oyedepo n winners takes full responsibility for CU, while even ur president is nonchalant and laccadesical over the warfare of the people, let alone the secular university administrators.

My Rev in Anglican church and lecturer in Anglican Univ has all his children schooling in CU. Why didn't he send them to Ajayi Crowther Univ Oyo? The answer is simple while one is affordable, the other is expensive but got all the standard n quality.

Lol.. if I am ask..how much do u think d school fees will be for a year abroad, not considering accommodation that is lyk 150-300k per month, feeding, health insurance, transport.

I advised parents to avoid sending their children to such schools rather they should look for cheap university abroad and send them. Where they can be exposed to opportunities and most likely employment.
Spending such amount of money in Nigeria university is not encouraging. Nigerian need more of skills acquisition than certificate.

WE CONDEMN THE POSTPONEMENT OF THE ELECTIONS, BUT URGE OUR TEEMING SUPPORTERS TO BE PATIENT AND DETERMINED

We have just received with great disappointment and disillusionment the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of its decision to postpone the Presidential/National Assembly and Gubernatorial/House of Assembly Elections to Saturday, February 23, 2019 and Saturday, March 9, 2019, respectively.

We condemn and deprecate this tardiness of the electoral umpire in the strongest terms possible. President Muhammadu Buhari had since cooperated fully with INEC by ensuring EVERYTHING it demanded to conduct free and fair elections were promptly made available to it. This news is therefore a huge disappointment to us and to our teeming supporters nationwide and around the world, many of whom have come into the country to exercise their franchise.

We do hope that INEC will remain neutral and impartial in this process as the rumor mill is agog with the suggestion that this postponement has been orchestrated in collusion with the main opposition, the PDP, that was NEVER ready for this election. We note that all the major credible demographic projections have predicted a defeat of the PDP and it seriously needed this breather to orchestrate more devious strategies to try and halt President Buhari’s momentum. It did the same as the ruling Party in 2015, when it realized the game was up, by orchestrating the postponement of the 2015 elections by six weeks. Now, it may be up to its old trick again.

We have earlier raised the alarm that the PDP is bent on discrediting this process the moment it realized it cannot make up the numbers to win this election. We are only urging INEC not collude with the PDP on this. We are truly worried because as early as Friday morning, some known PDP Social Media influencers unwittingly announced this postponement, but quickly deleted the message and apologized to the public that it was fake news. We do not want to be forced to a situation of announcing our total loss of confidence in INEC, because we know where that would leave our democracy.

It is in the light of the above that we wish to appeal to Nigerians and our supporters to be patient, calm and resolute despite this temporary setback. Let us not give anyone, especially the PDP, the opportunity to plunge this nation into a crises, which is what they earnestly desire. Its imminent defeat is just a few days away.

Lastly, we wish to draw the attention of INEC and the world to observe that the PDP has clearly and openly said it plans to announce parallel results through some funny device it has procured or developed. We wish to re-iterate that it is ONLY INEC that is legally and constitutionally empowered to declare results and it constitutes an offence for anyone to do so. We urge INEC to SPEAK UP NOW and warn the PDP to desist from this ignoble act that is capable of plunging the nation into a crises of immeasurable proportions.

If he fails to complete inherited projects or monuments as he refers to it, who looses? The Akwa Ibom people loose. Well Mr Governor, there is difference between politics and governance. Whatever the issue is between you and your predecessor, it should not prevent you from completing inherited projects which are being funded by tax payers money.

try to read and understand before u write....he said the money that is available will be used wisely on projects that will affect the lives of the people directly.If u r from Akwa Ibom u will know some of the project he abandoned is not something that needs urgent attention.

Most foreign universities deal with coursework and trust me sometimes it's harder than exams becos most times u have to do a lot of research

Even if it is been repaired, that should be good sign that the government may have pressured the contractor to fix defects. Not everything should be political. Even the opposition in Ekiti should support when projects are enhanced for the benefit of the public.
