The rot in the customs is on an astronomical level under Hameed Ali. It is when President Buhari leaves power that the level of corruption and nepotism perpetrated by Ali will be exposed.
Buhari appointed Ali to that position to rehabilitate him. It was never to reorganize the customs. Ali has been on that seat for three years now yet the morale of officers has never been lower. The corruption continues unabated through his surrogate personal assistant called Brigadier Buhari who does the collection of bribes from the Area Comptroller's on behalf of Ali while Ali continues to decieve the public with his sanctimonious anti corruption pretense.
When Ali boasts of beating revenue targets the question to be asked is "what was the exchange rate of Naira to the Dollar for the three years he has been at the helm of the customs.
It is all a smoke screen.

But you would advise leaving your children with pentecostal pastors in this modern age?

Now view this;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kguzQRSP3K0

This is T. B . Joshua being accused of sexually molesting children.

There have been stories of pentecostal pastors abusing and even slapping minors but their followers come out to vehemently defend them.

So as Jesus said, let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
Jesus H Christ!!! huh huh
You Catholics just don't get it do you?
All forms of sexual abuse are wrong. If you check my posting history I am not supporting any religious organisation. I am all for justice for victims of sexual abuse in the church.
What you Catholics have been doing on this thread is to fail to apportion blame to priests and Nuns who have serially abused children in their care. Name and shame any body who uses the sheild of religion to abuse children kept in their care. Let the abused children recieve justice. What you Catholics have been doing is tantamount to saying-"Yeah,there is abuse in the Catholic church but we are not the only ones, look across the road, see the protestants and Muslims are abusing children too."
Catholics should remove the log in their eyes before removing the log in the protestant and Muslims eyes.
Christianity Etc › Re: How Did Judas Iscariot Actually Die? by Dantedasz(m): 3:10pm On Sep 03, 2018
enilove:
We have different ways of reporting the same event .

Mr A can be report a detailed account while Mr B might just take one or two points to make his report. That does not mean the accounts differ.

To that of Judas :

Matthew 27:5-9 KJV
And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. [6] And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. [7] And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in. [8] Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day. [9] Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;

Acts 1:18-19 KJV
Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. [19] And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

1
The Matthew account says Judas hanged himself.

The Acts accounts says " falling headlong , he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

An analytical mind would not call this a different account. why?
The acts account says HE FELL ... , which could mean after hanging himself , the tree , rope and whatever he used for hanging himself gave way when struggling between life and death , and he fell in the process "headlong bursting his bowels" , simple.

He couldn't have committed the suicide in anyone's presence , so people who saw him dead , would certainly have variant account. But it will all point to the same thing , he hung himself or he fell while hanging himself. Because they could see the rope around his neck and could also see a broken scull and bust bowel.

2

The field whether bought by the pharisees for Judas or bought by Judas himself , which is unlikely , still belonged to Judas.

I just decided to check this thread because I did think it is something someone should be bothered about.
This is hilarious. I thought the Bible was written under the inspiration of God?
God inspired on writer to say hang and inspired another writer to say fall and burst asunder at the bowels?

The mistake being made here is that all the Bible is then subject to the readers interpretation. Thus every one can interpret the scriptures the way they want.
In my opinion the two accounts of Judas Iscariot's death are different accounts and therefore contradictory.
How did Judas die? A)Hanging? B) Fell down and burst open at the bowels.
Two completely different accounts of one death. Why would God inspire one writer to say hang and inspired another writer to say fell and burst open?

Watch this one too. Catholic priests and Nuns abusing dumb children because they felt they could not talk. It happened in a Catholic school for deaf and dumb kids.

vigano is asking for the popes resignation because he accuses the pope of removing canonical penalties instituted against card mccarrick, mccarrick was earlier accused of abusing young adult, he was recently accused of abusing a child 40 years ago. as far as I know nobody prevented the police from investigating mccarrick.
if the Pope did remove canonical penalties then that is bad, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for the whole story before jumping into conclusion.
grin
I thought you earlier stated that all the Catholic priests accused of sexually abusing children were all dead and that the abuse happened many years ago? huh
Is McCarrick a ghost?
In fact McCarrick was accused of several cases of sexually abusing children and as such was removed from position of authority in the church by the last Pope Benedict.
Pope Francis assumed office, pardoned McCarrick and gave him more position of authority despite being warned by Carlo Vigano that McCarrick is a serial child abuser .
This is the reason why Vigano asked Pope Francis to resign. Please stop sugar coating issues .

I didn't watch your videos because I have long been following the abuse issue for close to 5 years. it is not new to me. the video will not provide me with information I don't have already.

some diocese in the US have began doing that, they publish names of accused priest on their website, there is a downside to that because it open the diocese to false litigation just to get money. from what I read of pope Francis he seems to be reducing the canonical penalties against some accused because he believes that mercy must be part of justice. I don't believe pope Francis has shielded any body from police investigation.

if abuse is abuse then condemn all of it not just because they are Catholics.

Benedict resigned because he said his energy was failing and a more energetic person needed.

vigano is asking for the popes resignation because he accuses the pope of removing canonical penalties instituted against card mccarrick, mccarrick was earlier accused of abusing young adult, he was recently accused of abusing a child 40 years ago. as far as I know nobody prevented the police from investigating mccarrick.

grin @ubenedictus,
The more I read your posts on this issue, the more it is clear you did not watch the videos or you are being deliberately ignorant.
If all the priests have died according to you should the Catholic church not name and shame them? Why is the pope reinstating clergy men who are known abusers to office?
Why are you mentioning protestants when we are discussing Catholics? How is abuse by the Catholics different from abuse by protestants? Abuse is abuse but the Catholic church led by Pope Francis has been sheilding the priests accused of abuse!
Finally, when you finish reading I have two questions for you-
1.Why did Pope Benedict resign from office?
2.Why did Archbishop Carlo Vigano ask Pope Francis to resign from the papacy?
I await your response.

How anyone can read the news and watch these videos and still say Pope Francis is innocent of sheilding these rapists called Catholic priests just beats me hollow. It does my nut in. Is it that they don't understand what is happening or they are indoctrinated and unable to differentiate between right and wrong?
Young children in the care of priests and nuns have been sexually raped and abused for decades . A lot of these priests found to have accusations hanging around their necks were subsequently removed or suspended by the last Pope before he resigned. Pope Francis on assuming office reinstated all these priests back to positions of authority despite being forwarded by Archbishop Carlo Vigano. That is the crisis at hand. This is the reason Vigano wrote an open letter to Pope Francis telling him to step down because he is culpable for protecting these abuser priests to the detriment of the sexually abused kids.

Ubenedictus:
I am not a defender of abuse but it is wrong to stereotype Catholic priests in this manner.

from primary 3 -6 I was very close to my parish priest, my parents had no problem leaving me alone with him, he was caring, kind and the best human being I have ever seen, I still visit him till date for advice, he also spent a lot of time with my sick grand dad whenever we werent home, he never did anything to me, I was always safe with him, I served at mass, went on retreat and joined him in his office hour, I was always safe and have met several such priest in my life.

I would have no problem leaving my kids with a priest, all my life of moving with priests even leaving in the Church house for holidays, I have NEVER come across a pedophile.
I wouldn't advise you to leave your kids with any Catholic priest in the modern age no matter your personal past experience.
Just advice.

sorry I believe I quoted you mistakenly I wanted to quote dantedasz response to aaronsrod, I was trying to tell dantedasz that Aaronsrod must be using sarcasm, sorry if I came across as unclear.

to clarify, I do NOT support the rape of children nor do I support such cover up, both are despicable which is why I clearly said such people should be prosecuted. I do not support silence of the pope in such serious accusation but I am not the pope, let him answer for himself.

anybody protection rapist is not protecting the Church, he is protecting himself and his career and harming the Church.
It seems you are correct about Aaronsrod. I went to his timeline and read his past posts. He really is an atheist who applies sarcasm.
On the issue of the Catholic church scandals,I believe we should all condemn those priests who abuse children and give the church a bad name
We should also condemn people like Pope Francis who sheild these abusers.

I consider child abuse to be a despicable depravity that should always be condemned and the perpetuators brought to justice.

unfortunately it present in the Catholic Church and even Protestant churches in Christianity and other religions, even in schools and groups, it is not only a Catholic problem and we must all be committed to stopping it wherever it is found.

Be careful Dantedasz.

You are presenting lies from the pit of Hell.

Satan is using you to challenge the power of true Men of God.

You must fear for your eternal soul.

This matters are for God to judge only

We must submit ourselves to the rulings of His anointed ministers in the church.
This is hilarious.
Did you watch any of those videos?
Did you watch the video of five sisters sexually assaulted and abused by one priest in the US?
Did you watch the video of the Irish man who as a kid was anal raped by a Catholic priest in the toilet? Did you watch him lament how the clergy man ripped his anus apart and blood was dripping all over the toilet floor?
Did you watch the video of the dumb (physically challenged) ladies abused by nuns and priests serially?
Was it that you refused to believe and chose to protect the church the se way the pope chose to sheild all the Catholic clergy men implicated in sexual abuse and chose to reinstate them to positions of authority?
The children abused by priests do not deserve justice as long as the name of the Catholic church is protected?
You make me wanna puke, with this your sanctimonious post.
For your information this thread will continue running whether you like it or not and I will update it every day with relevant information.
And while you are at it have you ever asked yourself why the last pope resigned from his position? The answer is on one of the videos posted .
