Most people who claim they are atheist on this forum fell into the trap of atheism because they have always taken written words as literal or historical. That is the only angle they have always known and as such make this judgement based on it.. I used to be just that too until I stepped out of religion and search for a different road.. A third road I call it.. And my journey in a nut shell start thus..
God I found out is not a man or a human being and as such cannot write, speak or do anything human can do.. God therefore is the totality of the consciousness of the universe personified.. God is the source of everything..., the originator, the creator of everything.. The word God comes from the acronym of the Greek words for POWER, WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE..
This personified consciousness has different names according to different cultures.. I am igbo so the consciousness we call CHUKWU... Yoruba calls it OLODUMARE.. ETC. The jews called it by a title LORD, anybody who is sincere and has done any real research will find out that the Lord of the old testament is Marduk.. The lugal dimmer ankia.. Which simply means divine king of heaven and earth..
Back to my point.. God is not a man or a human being.. So it can't communicate with us like humans do.. The only way is through symbols and numbers., usually through an Oracle.. For those of us who watch nollywold movies, if you notice when Olu Jacobs ask for the babalawo for what is wrong... After consultation the answer is usually given with parables.. It is that parable that is the word of God, that is what the jews wrote down in their Tanakh... The new restaurant is just garbage..

So we are expected to read the story and learn the message in it.. That is what is important...

The smart and intelligent ones amongst them would realise the reason Butter changed and said Christians should ignore atheists is because most atheists have ignored him, the few that still pay him attention do so without making the discussion go too long unlike before when they would debate him for tens of pages in a thread. More and more atheists were ignoring him with each passing moment.

He saw a future where all atheists ignore him so like the proverbial worker that's about to be fired he said "You can't fire me, I quit!!!" but he took it a step further by advising his "coworkers" to quit also

This is why I laugh when I saw the likes of Muttleylaff et al agreeing to ignore atheists without thinking about what might've caused him to spin 180 so fast. yeah he took some verses and spinned it to fit his agenda (just like every Christian does) but at the end it was all a selfish agenda and the events leading up to it points to that agenda

Despite repeated and varied requests, we have never announced any launch date. We only stressed that the World Cup will be experienced on the Pipul TV network. Many people erroneously assumed that to be rollout. Please revisit our statements. Our distributors and selected members of the public will be availed of this service for test runs. Selected experience centres will be published (in due time) for members of the public to experience. The soft launch is scheduled for late July and full commercial roll out in early August.

We have observed with dismay as several people have either concluded we are deceitful or that we have failed. We appreciate your disappointments (for the inability to watch the World Cup on our streaming platform from the comfort of your homes). Please be kindly reminded that we had repeatedly stressed this privilege is for our dealers and not the general public. We had also sustainably reiterated that the distributor network must first be established before we announce any rollout dates. Sadly, many decided to deliberately ignore all our explanations, arbitrarily established June 14 as the rollout date, and diligently instituted a countdown.

While we respect and appreciate your enthusiastic support, we kindly beseech you not to impugn our reputation and the credibility of this service by resorting to name-callings and false allegations. Pipul TV has never lied to Nigerians. We have endeavoured to be as transparent and forthcoming as possible and we expect such positions to be appreciated equally.

Pipul TV is a serious project. We are here to protect the interests of the masses as well as our national pride. First and foremost we are business organisation and are committed to doing things in proper order and according to carefully laid down rules of operations, and not by emotional demands and tactics. We urge you to align your expectations with that perspective.

Out of nowhere, I said to my self "there is so much talk about the existence of god and power of yahweh, his existence and other spiritual stuffs yet events always unfolded as if their is no god or the interventions of spiritual powers. If you find Zeeworld, Telemundo, Sports, Music, Gospel, News, etc, which I feel are the few channels most people watch, you will see them in other Cable TVs...

Honestly, I left DSTV since 2012 and I never regretted it, after all I still watch the important news, sports, music and gospel channels I need. From CTL.
