The stakeholders of All Progressive Congress (APC), Imo State, has dissociated themselves from what they call indescriminate endorsement of Hon. Uche Nwosu by few biased members of Imo APC. The stakeholders under the aegis of The Restoration Coalition, APC, Imo State in a communique released in Owerri on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 described the activities of the Rochas Okorocha's led government as unfortunate, stating that it is capable of bringing disgrace to the party in the forth coming general elections.
The group which rejected the endorsements said that they were "obtained by blackmail, coercion and intimidation". Part of the communique reads
"4. However, having been seeing and witnessing contemptible, despicable and condemnable happenings in our great party in the state in recent times, we are convinced that unless urgent steps are quickly taken in calling certain people to order, the APC is headed for a shameful, abysmal and colossal failure in the state in the 2019 elections - this will tragically cut across and regrettably affect the Presidential, Governorship, National Assembly and State House of Assembly chances. We sincerely, call on Governor Rochas Okorocha as the leader of the party in Imo State, to instill law, order, discipline as well promote peace and tranquility as the party gets set for the all important primaries in the state. 5. Certainly, we totally, without any reservation, condemn the clandestine Endorsements, indiscriminate Adoptions and wanton "Anointments" of certain elements in the party without due processes and without any regard to laid down procedures and respect for party leadership and discipline. It is quite disturbing that these endorsements obtained by Blackmail, Coercion and Intimidation are taking place in the hallowed orbit of the Imo State Government House under the watch of the Governor. We are embarrassed because this theatre of the absurdity, as we have confirmed, has the full backing and financial muscles of Imo State Government as the persons being endorsed, one Chief Uche Nwosu, his Son In-Law is also his serving Chief of Staff. As a matter of fact, this is an anomaly and points to a dangerous and destructive party politics of APC in Imo State. We, therefore, call our members to caution as endorsements do not frankly reflect the true picture of Imo APC. We call on Governor Owelle Okorocha to act as a true unifier, a leader to ensure a level playing field for all APC aspirants in all positions. To that effect, we reject in its entirety the endorsements of Uche Nwosu as being currently carried out in our party. This is so because these leprous endorsements have the capacity and capability of truncating and dismantling the very cord that binds us together as family. We respectfully urge Governor Okorocha to be very sensitive to the name, integrity and sanctity of Imo as an entity and the thrust, honour and dignity that go with the governorship enterprise. 6. We wish to insist that natural justice, equity, fair play and democratic norms must take their natural course as we step closer to the Imo State APC primaries and subsequently, the elections thereof. It will be politically suicidal for the Imo State Governor to emerge from Orlu zone after Governor Okorocha’s eight years rule making a total of 16 years of ORLU GOVERNORSHIP. This is improper and if imposed will be resisted by all responsible and conscientious members of the Party."
The coalition also condemned the recent attack on Archbishop AJV Obinna, the Bishop of Owerri Catholic Diocese, by some group of men purported to be working for the state government. "It is our opinion as a party that we take exception to the insinuations emanating from the media crediting the actions to APC. That is not our Character as a Party.", the coalition said.
This is a Miracle,it has proved so called science wrong.
Explorers: Doctors have delivered the second American baby born to a woman following a uterus transplant from aliving donor.
The little girl was born via cesarean section weighing 6lbs 7oz, with no complications, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, medics confirmed today.
The mother, who has not been identified, was born without a uterus due to a syndrome called Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH), meaning she always thought pregnancy and childbirth were not anoption for her.
However, that changed when she became one of the eight women selected to receive a womb from a donor, six living, two deceased as part of Baylor's ground breaking endeavor in 2016.
While four suffered complications that led to their removal, this is the second to prove a resounding success.
Some women are born with a syndrome known as MRKH (Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser), which means their womb never developed properly.
One thing is obvious here, you can never(i mean your tribe) measure with the igbos, when it comes to success.how come your tribes that are ruling Nigeria are the poorest set of people.presidency can never change your social life, igbos are the must envious tribe in Africa
Adminisher: The fact that having a Father who is Hausa and a Mother who is IBO is a CRIME to you guys is the reason your tribe will never produce a President in Nigeria
Please mark these words. You have cursed yourselves with those words. Progress is impossible for your people for entertaining these satanic attitude in 2017.
There is ZERO hope. ZERO happiness and fulfilment with this self fulfilling prophecy on your people.
Hausa Dad and Ibo man is a crime to you guys?. You are DEAD already , only you don't know it. No wonder you fail at everything.
So you guys chose your parents?. You told God you wanted to black, African and Nigerian?. What choice does any of us have in circumstances of birth?. Is it not God?.
You guys are FINISHED!!!. We now know the problem of Nigeria and who will always get the rough end of the stick.
JW is an anti-christ organisation, because they dont believe in the power of holy ghost & it's gift. Also mentioning Jesus christ name ( according Philp 2:8-10)is secondary to them.finally in their wintnessing they dont preach salvation through Jesus,John 14:6
XXLDICK: They remain the most peaceful Christian denomination.
They do not pay tithes
They are the only Christian denomination yet to be commercialized.
If you're a christian,what you gave was a gift to a begger,not a tithe.read the account of Abraham & melchisedec in Heb 7:1-11
mdokaba1: It was a very stressful week for me as it involved lots of travels and all. So its a Saturday and I was paid for a project I did for the month past.
Going by my tired nature, I knew deep down me that there was no way I could have made it to church the next day and I was hell bent on paying my tithe because of the inherent blessings therein and the last thing on my mind would be to give it to my nebor to pay it for me. (The guy broke and besides I didn't want him to start calculating my take-home (Na sharp man). And I knew deep down that if I keep the money till the next time I would be in church, I was sure I would spend it. (God have mercy on me sha)
So I decided even before getting home to package my tithe and while in the market on a shopping spree I package my tithe and dropped it in the plate of an old beggar. (A mulsim beggar precisely)
Instantly, I saw 50 shades of shocks on her face as she looked at me for a few seconds and I could read her facials more like "For this Buharia?" Lols. And before I disappeared into the crowd, I could see/read her lips mutter prayers pointing towards me. And deep down, I felt blessed and fulfilled.
But was I wrong to have given my 10percent to a beggar instead of to the alter?
This is a clear evidence that Roman catholic is not christianity.
newsynews: Below are pictures and a video showing Reno Omokri in the caves of Cappadocia, Turkey where the early Christians hid from the persecution of the Roman Empire.
This shows the struggles that the early Christians and Apostles passed through for Christianity to go global. The Christians were an outlawed sect and had to live in caves in City outskirts as exiles.
Peter, a disciple of Jesus Christ corroborates this:
1 Peter 1:1
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To God’s elect, exiles scattered throughout the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia,
It appears that mr peter obi is the new PDP Anambra state Godfather?
Anstalk: Sen. Stella Oduah, one of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship aspirants in Anambra, said she abstained from the party’s primary election on Monday because candidates were imposed on the party.
The lawmaker made this known in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Monday.
She described the development as unacceptable, particularly for a party that was just trying to get its footing after undergoing a major leadership crisis.
She said party members that were not part of the struggle during the crisis period were suddenly imposed on the party members.
“There must be incentive for loyalty. Party loyalists must have a say.
“When you deny their participation, you deny them that incentive they get from being the torchbearers of the party. So, I think it’s morally wrong for this to happen.
“Secondly, we are just coming out from `godfatherism’ that pervades the politics of Anambra PDP.
“Thank God for court judgment but with what is happening, they are bringing us back to that era where we will be subjected to one man imposing a candidate on us.
“The fundamental process that led to the three-man delegates was so chaotic and the default was so fundamental.
“My people were disenfranchised and I don’t want to be part of that process because it is injustice.
“When you have imposition, you have blocked that hope for them.
“You have made it difficult and impossible for them to aspire to be anything within the party because you are telling them that you can bring somebody from anywhere to impose on them.
“Also, bringing somebody from outside the party and who has not stayed for long, it means that you are saying that you lack capacity within party members.
“But I don’t think we lack capacity, I think PDP has enough capacity to run for that election,’’ she said.
The lawmaker said she was concerned that the development could lead to the party’s defeat in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Oduah, representing Anambra North, had threatened to withdraw from Monday’s PDP governorship primaries on grounds that the party’s ward congresses was fraught with “irregularities and sabotage’’.
She disclosed that she had petitioned the Chairman, PDP National Caretaker Committee, Ahmed Makarfi, for a review of the delegates’ list, failure of which would make her withdraw from the exercise.

Your paternity is unqestionable,A true son of his father.you've really added value to my day
OkpekeBeauty: Truth be told, there is no Igbo that does not identify with Nnamdi Kanu's philosophy. Some may be active others passive. The people that are against him do that for a major reason: FEAR Fear of war which many have actually used to make some Igbos afraid, reminding them of the civil war. But a philosopher once said that everything you need is available on the other side of fear. Once you can conquer your fears, you advance as a person or as a people.
Fear of the unknown: This one is especially expressed by those who are already benefiting from the system. To me this is selfishness, you don't have the collective destiny of a people in mind but want the best just for you and your kids while others can go to hell. When you hear this Ijaw group say no to Biafra, that Anambra youths supports Buhari etc, these people are sponsored by these elite already benefiting from the system
Another thing even the Yorubas and Hausa know but deny is that Nnamdi kanu is not selfish, he is not a fraud. What Nnamdi is fighting is what most Nigerians criticize behind a computer/Social media and do nothing about. Who can take the type of risk he is taking because of need for recognition or fame. Every sincere person knows Nnamdi Kanu is genuine and sincere and paying a great price. Every hour his life is in danger of the powerful rich forces in the South east, an area where your brother is ready to betray you for money. Lets face it, that guy believes in what he is doing. It is those who have not really read the story of Mandela and Ghandi that think those people were saints-NO, they had their own faults, and even their own people were not fully in support of their approach, for much the same reason FEAR. Ghandi was killed by his brother, a fellow Indian not the Europeans he stood against.
They say: who was Nnamdi before the struggle, I ask who was Martin Luther King before the struggle? Answer-A mere unknown pastor with no experience in Government. Second question:who was Ghandi before fame?Answer, a charge and bail lawyer, with no experience in government, no title, no extra academic achievement. Last question: Who was Mandela before the struggle? Answer: a mere charge and bail lawyer who had enough fortitude that more powerfully placed people didnt have.
So what does Nnamdi Kanu lack that others had? Kanu is a British citizen, schooled in Britain, the son of a king who believes in his principles and ideologies to be willing to give his life for it. A family that can sponsor their son to UK is not an average family, he could have relaxed and enjoyed his parents money without trouble
Please note that I don't totally agree with Nnamdi kanus approach, but I can acknowledge that for the first time 80% of Igbos agree they have a leader and thousands of Igbos are united in one voice. So all the disunity they use to blackmail us shattered in the IPOB struggle. Even if Biafra never happened, history will have it on record that one unknown man was able to call Government back to their senses and to know that a section of the country have fearless individuals. And let me not forget to add Jailing him or killing him will make a hero more out of him.
Dangote is a Govt stooge, who made his money by helping corrupt govt official to steal govt money.is only in a country like Nigeria, that Dangote business can survive.the monopoly Dangote bizness enjoy in Nigeria can never been imagine.i can belt you that The man in question, known as Bishops' village looks far better than that of Dangote
If you know Nnamdi well, you'll see that he is unbias in any of his statement.Recently mazi Nnamdi kanu did not spear great Zik of Africa.OPC your ewadu is ready
itsdumebi: The Oodua People's Congress(OPC) has described the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu as a 'non-entity' over his recent comments on former President Olusegun Obasanjo and a National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.
According to a statement by the group made available to PoliticsNGR and signed by its national president, Adesope Dare, the OPC said it will not sit down and watch Kanu insult Yoruba elders. The statement read;
“The OPC also supports the genuine aspirations of all self-determination groups who pursue their aims through non-violent means. The Nigerian constitution and several international charters, to which the country is a signatory to, recognise the right to freedom of association by anybody, whether individual, corporate or institutional.
However, in supporting such agitations, we must not shy away from rebuking Nnamdi Kanu for the aspersions he has been casting in the direction of our revered leaders.Kanu’s repeated condemnation of former President Olusegun Obasanjo; former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and others is condemned in the strongest possible terms.
The idea of respect for elders might be alien to Kanu and his ilk, but it is a fundamental part of the Yoruba culture and tradition and we cannot afford to overlook such transgressions. We, therefore, use this medium to warn Kanu and other such individuals who are fond of making careless comments in relation to our leaders; that OPC will no longer sit back and allow this bunch of nonentities to disrespect our leaders or to use them to score cheap political scores.”
May the lord jesus christ bless u my beloved. Pls can someone ask google,is Roman catholic church christianity?
analice107: I was born a Catholic. My Dad was also a Knight, he is late now.
As i was growing, i became very inquisitive, asking questions. My questions actually stems from the kind of dreams i was having. I was having dreams of rapture continuously. In Catholic Church, we were taught Pogatory, not Rapture, this kept me curious. I needed answers, there was no one to talk to, so i started seeking. Just like the Bible said 'He that seeks shall find', I found answers out of Catholic Church, so i left. Am a Pentecostal now.
But, some years back, a Catholic man came to marry me, here were his conditions.
1. Return to Catholic Church.
2. Go back to your parish, meet your parish priest. explain yourself and apologize.
3. Your Dad will pay up all the dues which have accrued to you from when you left.
4. Then i will marry you in my Church, he said. (Catholic)
With the knowledge of the Bible i now have, i told him no. I saw him as a religious man, not a Christian. In all he said, i didn't see any iota of Christianity in him
Religion is plunging us back into what Christ saved us from. HATE, SELF, MALICE, SEGREGATION, AND HAUGHTINESS. All these are satanic traits.
You see, in this life, we came alone and we shall go back alone. Don't let Dogma put in place by men, keep you down.
Love is Christ's only message on earth.
Love is the opposite of Pride. Pride is selective, Love is not.
Ask yourself this my dearest, what Law as far as Christ's teachings are concerned, have you defaulted? and what law did your parents who for all their lives have been good Catholics living according her dogmas done to be shunned?
Wait, does Christ shun anyone? If Christ shuns anyone, which of us will even be alive today?
My dearest, let this hang over your head, If you are a Christian, then find out what Christ says about anything before you do them, and if you are right, pls do it irrespective of what people will say, because ultimately, it is Christ who died for you, you owe, not anyman.
Your parents will die, the Anglican Church can bury your Dad. be concern about his soul when he dies, not his carcass which shall remain in the dust.
Ignorance is a form of darkness, you're a cheap troll. All hail prince mazi Nnamdi kanu! All hail the new state of Biafra
MediumStout: The Constitution is clear on who becomes president if the seat is declared vacant. Osinbajo will soon be sworn in as Commander in chief of Armed forces if Buhari cannot continue to lead the country. Let's stop heating up the polity but rather focus on the ravaging mad man called Nnamdi Kanu whose present treasonous actions like his predecessor Ojukwu could trigger a second civil war if not curtailed. Nnamdi Kanu and his myriads of frustrated IPOB youths are constituting nuisances all over the east. The DSS and federal government should take actions before it's too late. Nnamdi Kanu can only be stopped by putting him back in prison. His release reignited the present madness we are witnessing. Nigeria's Unity is not negotiable. No group or entity will be allowed to break or destabilize the unity and diversity of the Nigerian state. Biafra will never become reality. Even ojukwu with his military experience tried and failed. Who the hell is kanu? One Nigeria we shall remain
Flexibility is a value among politicians. I strongly believe that,Yes or No vote will do justice to who & who is part of the land of raising sun.All hail Biafra & their leader Nnamdi kanu.
NewsCanTell: Father Emmanuel Chibuzor Obimma popularly known as Ebube Muonso has lauded the Igbo people of Nigeria for their industrious and resourceful nature.
The cleric who was speaking on a crusade ground in one of the states in the South East noted that despite the economic hardship the Igbos were subjugated to immediately after the war, they soared through and today became more greater than they were.
Ebube Muonso berated President Muhammadu Buhari whom he described as an empty brain and his kinsmen saying that one Igbo man is equivalent to five hundred Hausa men.
The cleric said this when he told his congregants that the greatest mistake Buhari made was to arrest the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu whom according to him intentionally set a trap for the President.
Valid input, because Biafra are not landlocked.mr oche fear is if Biafra goes,None of them will survive or able to co-exist with fulani/hausa.
iiiyyyk: your write up is fine, though u lean a bit in favour of the north that I understand.
1. U know life can not be compared to any material acquisition by man. The mere fact that the life and property of an Igboman is not and might never be secured in the North, looking at current prevailing factors. This alone completely nullifies any economic benefit Igbos get from the North.
2.U didn't Mention that Igbos pay business and property/hotel taxes in those states, which help the economy of those states.
3. if Igbos withdraw their little investments in the north, the economy of those places will feel it as well. 4. who consume most of the farm produce from the North, remember we buy them, north dont give it to us for free. if they tax our products heavily, we also tax theirs. 5. Igbos will easily build another lagos in Abia, via Imo River to atlantic, or in cross River and Akwa Ibom whom am very sure we gladly join the Igbos...Remember we are very close to central Africa, a bigger market than Lagos_ west Africa corridor.
6. what makes nations great is not natural resources, but Human capital development and financial capital, which u agree Igbos are not doing too badly in Both.
I want a restructured Nigeria, to true fiscal federalism, or back to regional(6 federating Regions) but if Fed govt persist in status quo, am afraid, Nigeria is not sustainable. therefore Biafra becomes the next viable option for all progressive minded Igbo Nation.
I tell u the truth, Biafra will be an aggressive success with freeminded Igbomen. Rather than compare Biafra with Sudan, I think u should look at countries like Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore. the Igboman share same spirit and mindset with people from these places ....surving against all odds
Mr oche, Point of correction.Biafra is not landlocked & Asaba is a full blooded BIAFRA Nation. All hail Biafra! Growing up as a child in Rigiyar Dorowa area of Sokoto was one of the happiest times of my life, opposite our house were the native Hausa/ Fulani hosts while on our sides were the non-natives 80% of which were Igbos. life was good, pidgin English was the lingua franca and the two other languages we could not do without were Igbo and Hausa and as kids we spoke them fluently nobody thought us we just grew up to speaking the languages as we mingled without segregation.
I have stayed out the Biafra discussion because I realized that whenever the issue comes up emotions run high while common sense and logical reasoning is always thrown out of the window hence my decision to watch the drama on the sidelines ,As a child who was born, raised and educated in Sokoto, North western Nigeria, I have felt the warmth, kindness and undiluted love of the people, I also understand the thinking's of a typical northerner haven spent the first 27 years of my life there and as a husband to a lovely Igbo woman and father to kids with some Igbo blood in their veins I also have a stake in the Eastern region.
Like I asserted in my book the Unseen Terrorist published by Author house in the United Kingdom, telling yourself a lie is like putting a short gun to your head and pulling the trigger in both ways you end up destroying yourself. There are 5 issues we must objectively look at in the ethnic and religious conflict that produced the Biafra agitation, at this point in our nation’s history silence is no longer golden, and history will not be kind to us if we fail to objectively dissect the issue and help the warring parties understand what is truly at stake.
Issue Number 1: The Tendency of the North to always be Violent
No one likes living with animals, as Northerner's we have spilled so much human blood, about 75 % of our innocent and defenseless victims have been the Igbo people and their children, and we have not spared their property also. Once there is any small fight or civil disturbance the next thing a northern miscreant thinks of is how to destroy Igbo property and sniff life out of a fellow human being. During the sharia and election crises we killed and destroyed their properties across northern Nigeria, while they were still bleeding from the pains of the civil war and the trauma of abandoned property we continued to make them our number one target at the slightest provocation, these animalistic behavior we have perfected over decades has made living with us a nightmare. Even among the so called northerners we have remained extremely violent to ourselves, how do we explain the killings in my home state Benue, how do we rationalize the slaughter by Boko haram in the North East. The Agatu massacre by Fulani herdsmen, their collaborators and silent supporter's is unexplainable yet we want people to live and coexist with us! Only a mad man will do so without asking questions.
\
Issue Number 2: Beneficiaries of the Northern Population.
The second truth we must tell ourselves is why are the Igbo's found in the remotest villages of Northern Nigeria, No one has milked the benefits of the Northern population like the Igbo nation truth be told. Unfortunately, majority of Igbo's and southerners are unwilling to accept the role of the north in developing the Igbo entrepreneurial zeal. A vast majority of the Goods and products sold in major south eastern markets like Aba and Onitsha are not consumed in the East they end up in the north, this explains why the volume of cash inflow to the east is at its lowest during Ramadan and crisis period up North, today the Igbo's control about 70% of the core commercial activity in the North while Northerner's control less than 3 % in the Eastern region these are facts. The Northern population has provided a training ground for many Igbo traders and their trainees who later became masters and continued their commercial exploits , data has shown that a vast majority of real estate especially in major cities in the northern Nigeria are owned by our eastern brothers and sisters thanks to a northern population that was willing to support their enterprise, but to claim the Igbo's are doing the north a favour by making money in their enclave like some have claimed is taking the insult too far .
Issue Number 3: Insensitivity to Religious Beliefs on Both sides
The complete lack of regard for the religious believe of the typical Muslim is usually the trigger for violence between the Arewa Muslim community and the Igbo nation, it is not unusual t
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, the youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, on Tuesday, said Ndigbo must produce the country’s President in 2019.
A Northerner could be the Vice President in 2019, according to the Igbo youths.
The Ohanaeze Youth wing, which spoke after a meeting in Enugu, said the Biafra agitation would take an unprecedented turn if a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction was not the outcome of the 2019 general elections.
“It is Igbo President 2019 or Biafra 2020,” OYC, the umbrella body of Igbos youths, declared in a communique signed by the General Secretary, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike.
Stressing that Igbos would no longer play ‘second fiddle in Nigerian politics’, the Ohanaeze youth wing said it has mobilised all its resources towards the actualization of the long-standing quest for an ‘Igbo President’ in 2019.
The irate youths noted that their position on the 2019 elections was largely informed by the North’s opposition to calls for restructuring, as well as the quit ultimatum given to Igbos living in the North by a coalition of Northern groups.
“A situation where no Igbo has been allowed close to the seat of power for decades is sheer injustice and hatred, whereas other geopolitical zones have been taking turns either as military or civilian presidents.
“More annoying is the fact that the North, a major beneficiary in this direction, has bluntly refused to heed the call for restructuring, which has been identified as the panacea to the many socio-political problems plaguing the nation.
“Besides, they (North) have also not only continued to express disdain over the demand for Biafra by IPOB and MASSOB but have also ordered Ndigbo out of the North based on these agitations,” the communique said.
Although the major pro-Biafra groups, the Indigenous People of Biafra and the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, have said they are not interested in the ‘Igbo President project’, the Ohanaeze youth wing said a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction would pacify all Igbos, including the agitators.
“Remember that former President Olusegun Obasanjo have urged Nigerians to beg the Biafra agitators – only a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction will appease Igbos. Otherwise, Biafra agitation will be inevitable.
“If there is any conspiracy against Igbo presidency, it will bring Biafra into existence,” the communique said.
The communique added, “One now wonders why Ndigbo will continue to be treated in this manner.
“Two days ago, the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, re-echoed the fact that Nigeria is in a marriage. He was quoted as saying ‘Our nation has been in marriage for a while now. Sometimes there are quarrels within that marriage. Sometimes there is disagreement. What is important is that you must remain together. You must remain united.’
“It does appear from the above that Ndigbo has perpetually remained the sacrificial lamb to keep this forced marriage together. They have remained victims of an abusive marriage, often beaten and cheated by the husband.
“We have resolved today that this grave injustice cannot continue.
“It is Igbo Presidency in 2019 with a Vice President from the North or nothing.
“We are not ready to be treated with levity and disdain in this country any longer, and for that we are calling on all Igbo sons and daughters, both at home and in the Diaspora, to key into this project.”
