PoliticsRe: Much Ado About G7 Invitation - By Naptu2. by danyaril2yahoo: 6:29am On Aug 29, 2019
naptu2:
Much Ado About G7 Invitation by Naptu2.

There has been some controversy in recent days about the fact that Nigeria was not invited to the 2019 G7 summit in France. Some people have made a crazy and hilarious claim that all important African countries are invited to G7 summits and the fact that Nigeria was not invited shows that it is not an important country on the African continent. I still don't understand Nigerians' obsession with the G7 summit. I don't know citizens of any other African country that go crazy whenever a G7 summit is being held.

Nigeria is not a member of the G7. The G7 is made up of countries with the 7 strongest economies in the world.

The G7 decided to invite some developing countries to their meetings. These invitations are not a right, neither are they a determinant of which country is more important than the other.

The G7 usually invite the immediate past chairman of the African Union (AU), the current chairman of the AU and the incoming chairman of the AU. Sometimes they invite one or two others that are chairmen of subregional organisations, but it's not a determinant of which country is the most important.

The G7 invited Nigeria in 2017, but did not invite South Africa that year. Does that mean that South Africa is unimportant?

The only African country that the G7 invited to their meeting in 2016 was Chad. Does that mean that Chad is more important than Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria or South Africa??

Again, South Africa, Egypt and Kenya were not invited to the 2015 G7 summit. Does that mean that these countries are not important??

The truth of the matter is that invitation to G7 summits is not a determinant of which country is important and which is not, but instead it is a reflection of the agenda of that particular summit. The host country sets the agenda and guest countries are usually invited based on that agenda.

No African country was invited to the summit in 2012, 2013 and 2014 because issues affecting Africa were not on the agenda at those meetings.

Like I said earlier, it's usually the immediate past chairman of the AU, the current chairman of the AU, the next chairman of the AU and chairmen or a few subregional groups that are invited.

Rwanda was invited to the 2019 summit in its capacity as the former chair of the African Union, Egypt as the current chair, while South Africa was invited as the incoming chair. Senegal was invited as the current leader of the New Partnership for African Development (NEPAD), while Burkina Faso was also invited to the G7 Summit as the chair of G5 Sahel.

Here is a list of AU chairmen since 2014. You can see that it's usually the chairmen of the AU that are invited. Chad was the only African country that was invited to the 2016 G7 summit because President Idriss Deby was the incoming chairman of the AU at that time and not because it was the most important African country.

Israel's First Lady, Nechama Rivlin, is reportedly dead at the age of 63. Rivlin who died on Tuesday morning, will be laid to rest on Wednesday afternoon at Mt. Herzl. Her coffin will be placed at the Jerusalem Theater between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., after which the cortege will depart to Mt. Herzl. ogbiwa:
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri says he misses Italy amid reports he could leave the club to join Juventus.

Sarri's future has been the subject of debate all season despite only moving to Stamford Bridge from Napoli last summer.

The 60-year-old led Chelsea to third in the Premier League, the Carabao Cup final and won the Europa League in the final against Arsenal on 29 May.

"For us Italians the call of home is strong," Sarri told Vanity Fair.

"I feel that something is missing. It has been a heavy year. I begin to feel the weight of distant friends and elderly parents I rarely see.

"But at my age, I only make professional choices. I won't be able to work for 20 years. It's hard work, the bench."

Sarri says his relationship with the Napoli fans will not change even if he does move to a rival Italian club.

"The Neapolitans know the love I feel for them. I chose to move abroad last year and not to go on an Italian team," he said, having managed them from 2015 to 2018.

"The relationship will not change. Loyalty is giving 110% when you are there. What does it mean to be faithful?"

Sarri, who is due to hold talks with Chelsea about his future, said he thinks he "deserves" to stay at the club after their 4-1 Europa League final victory.

Jay Jay joined Bolton on a free transfer from PSG in 2002 with Allardyce in charge of the English club and helped steer the team away from relegation.

In his new book titled Big Sam’s Autobiography, Allardyce said he could watch the ex-Super Eagles star play all day as he states there is no player like him.

I attended the church of Jehovah's Witnesses and i noticed they don't compel people to pay Tithes and Offerings like most Pentecostal churches.

All they have is a box where any willing attendee is free to drop whatever he or she desires. No POS, no long sermon, no threat on giving like most Pentecostal churches. Jesus Christ never forced people to give and Christians are meant to emulate Christ.

I don’t like their doctrines but on this i am impressed.

Please I need your advice. Is so happened that I know this lady for years now. we are good friends. But the problem is, I know that as a Christian we can't really get married because she is a Muslim. So I have been trying to keep the relationship on just us being friends, even though I love her and I know She has this little feelings for me. If I had been serious, I know we would have gotten married or close to that, but I keep avoiding her and sometimes I do it on purpose.

Now, where I get really confused is that, any time i pray for God's will in marriage, she keeps coming to my mind. This is not infatuation or something. It has been happening over and over again. I know God also talk to us through giving us this deep impression in our heart.

It was so deep on day that I told the Holy Spirit that I can't marry her. I spoke with my pastor this week concerning this issue, and he said it is not possible for God to tell us to marry a Muslim and this thing keeps coming. am really confuse. because of this, have not been praying concerning marriage.

PLEASEEEEEE, I need Christians to comment on this.

Christianity EtcRe: Did Jesus Christ Really Say We Shouldnt Judge Other People? by danyaril2yahoo: 2:18pm On Jul 15, 2018
To add to your valid assertion,1 corinthians 2 :15 give christian right to judge all things. [quote author=alBHAGDADI post=69391500]These days, every time someone does something extremely wrong, what we hear people say is that we shouldn't judge them for the wrong thing they've done. It's even bad when you see a celebrity like Tonto Dikeh who glorifies herself in sin still openly telling people not to judge
her. It was worse when I saw comments from supposed Christians on her page telling others not to judge her when a video showed her saying jibberish which she called speaking in tongues at the altar of a so-called Church, while heavily living in sin, and when the Bible said woman should not teach in Church.

People are always quick to pull the "don't judge" card to prevent good people from pointing out the wrong in others. They usually say " didn't Jesus say you shouldn't judge?"

Luke 6:37
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Such talk from them is very stupid. It's the same as saying I shouldn't spank my child for doing something wrong because of "thou shall not judge". Why not go to a court of law and tell the judge that his name alone is offensive, and that he should let you off the hook without punishment for whatever crime took you to court. Don't you know that to judge is the same as making a decision or having an opinion?

Now, did Jesus really say we shouldn't judge? Let's look at the full explanation of the teaching which people have misconstrued to think Jesus actually said we shouldn't judge.

Mathew 7:1-5

1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?
5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

I'm glad you read the above passage. You see, many people who misconstrue this passage often do because they read and stop at verse 2. Even those who who read beyond that still do not understand the rest of the passage.

Christ didn't say we shouldn't judge. He only said we shouldn't judge if we know we are partaking in the same kind of sin. It's the same as a thief judging a thief, or a rapist judging a rapist. If you are the type that loots company's money, you have no right to judge politicians who loot public funds because you are alike. If you open your mouth to state that a politician should be jailed for looting, then same will be your punishment for looting.

" 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you."

It is so because you didn't consider yourself first before judging others. You have to ensure you are not guilty of a certain sin before you speak against it. You will be an hypocrite if you judge when you commit the same sin.

"3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?"

Does all of these still say we shouldn't judge? No.
To avoid making hypocritical judgement, you have to ensure you are good and not a partaker of such sin, because that's the only way you can see clearly to point out the wrong others are doing.

"5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."

The above verse didn't say after you've removed the plank from your own eye, you should leave the one in your brother's eye. It says after you've removed the plank from your own eye, then you will see clearly to remove the speck in your brother's eye.

It doesn't say after you've made yourself good, you shouldn't point out the wrong in what others are doing.
It says that's when you can judge.

But Christians have been fooled to believe they shouldn't judge. They forget that they will be the ones to judge angels.

1 Corinthians 6-3

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Did you read the above verse? It says we are going to judge angels, how much more things that are Pertaining To THis Life. So, if you still believe Jesus said we should not judge, the

PoliticsRe: Herdsmen: IPOB Fires TY Danjuma Over ‘defend Yourselves’ Call On Nigerians by danyaril2yahoo: 3:33pm On Mar 26, 2018
Bitter truth ,All Hail Biafra
14Ebisco:
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reacted to the statement credited to elder statesman and former Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen TY Danjuma, who called for self-defense against Fulani herdsmen.

Danjuma, while speaking on Saturday at the maiden convocation ceremony of Taraba sSate University in Jalingo, called on Nigerians to defend themselves against ethnic cleansing.

According to him, it was regrettable that the Nigeria Army was no more neural in the fight against terrorism in the country, stressing that “the Army collude, aide and provide shield to terrorist activities.”

Reacting to his observation, IPOB in a statement by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, faulted the former military boss for refusing to speak when the problem started.

IPOB said the killings allegedly orchestrated by herdsmen escalated because people like Danjuma refused to speak, but were rather busy vilifying its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The statement noted that Danjuma only re-echoed what its leader, Kanu had been saying over the atrocities being meted on its members by the Nigerian Army.

He said, “What Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said in 2014 is being re-echoed across the political landscape of Nigeria by no other than the very influential Lt. Gen. TY Danjuma, who can be rightly classified as part of the northern ruling elite.

“Every categorical statement, prediction and utterance of our leader has come to pass. What is happening before our eyes today was foretold by our leader many years back and had those in power in Abuja listened to him rather than lock him up without trial, thousands of innocent lives could have been saved across Nigeria.

“We state without any equivocation that all those killed by marauding Fulani herdsmen and the Nigerian military that provides them covert support died in vain because people like TY Danjuma initially supported the oppressors and vilified Mazi Nnamdi Kanu instead of paying careful attention to what he was saying.

“The same way the likes of TY Danjuma from the Middle Belt have woken up to the reality of the failed state that Nigeria has become, hopefully, so will South East governors, Ohaneze Ndigbo and PANDEF do in the coming months. Assuming they will take a leaf from Danjuma and have the courage to speak the truth as boldly as Danjuma has done. Going by their previous slavish antecedents, it remains doubtful they will ever do so because of their lowly status in the affairs of Nigeria.

“The question we are asking is why didn’t Danjuma use places like Yemen Libya, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, etc to cite as an example? He mentioned the same country as Kanu did because he can now see clearly where Nigeria is heading to. This implies that these same people who publicly condemned the style of agitation of IPOB were secretly listening to our leader all the time but stubbornly refused to do something about the injustices he was preaching against.

“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said that Fulanis will kill, rape, burn, maim, abduct innocent citizens and nothing will happen to them. Today are Fulani herdsmen not killing with impunity with nothing being done to stop them.

“People should swallow their pride and come out to acknowledge that Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB were right all along. They should not be ashamed to apologise for their shortsighted and lack of vision. Till date, no single religious prophet or seer in Nigeria and beyond has come close to matching the accuracy of Kanu’s predictions about events that are now unfolding in Nigeria.

“We are glad the world can testify that our leader and the movement he leads means well for ordinary people in Nigeria because an independent Biafra means freedom for all.”

PoliticsRe: "Take Danjuma's Warning Serious" - APC Chairman In Scandinavia Advises FG by danyaril2yahoo: 9:36pm On Mar 25, 2018
Maybe we should blame GEJ Govt for TY Danjuma asertion

@POLITICSNGR

Mr Lawal Ayoola, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Scandinavia, has urged the Federal Government to take comments made by former Defence Minister, retired Gen. Theophilus Danjuma, on the nation’s security as a wake-up call.

Danjuma had on Saturday at the convocation of Taraba State University called on Nigerians to use whatever means at their disposal to defend themselves against killers.

Ayoola told newsmen in Lagos on Sunday that for a retired general and former minister of defence to have made such an assertion, there was need for government to live up to its billing.

“For such a statement from a retired general, a former minister for defence and a war veteran, obviously, Nigeria is outrightly in an uncharted water,” he said.

According to him, the former defence chief’s statement is a clarion call on the leadership of Nigeria to wake to its responsibility and save the country from sliding to a failed state.

He said globally, the responsibility of any government was to protect and promote the welfare of its citizens, adding “anything short of that is leadership failure.”

“The incessant killings which could be likened to ethnic cleansing if not completely checked and it may definitely spell doom for Nigeria as a country.

“The implications of such reality are damaging to our country both locally and internationally. It is no-brainer that an anarchy environment is never attractive to daily investors, expect only ammunition entrepreneurs,” he said.

Ayoola said genuine international investors might not come to a country without a secure environment.

“Nigeria is currently in need of foreign direct investments and international partnerships for growth and development.”
