@javadoc,i'v done all dat,i've bn able to built some oda plain front-end apps into executables though they dnt av any back-end just utilities bt this one,i av a java derby db 4d back end,i convertd it into an .exe version,when i run it,the GUI showed up bt its not communicatn with the database n dats am tryin to fix,i changd my derby.system.home property,yet itsn't communicating, i usd a jar yersion of the db in my database url statement for the Class.forName() method,yet the .exe is running bt not communicatn, that is where i stand now

@codehouse, thanks for you response. Iam using Java to develop and am also using Innoset compiler but i dont really like the unique ID being generated by Innosetup compiler but i will like to have this your unique serial ID generator and how to integrate it into my application.

CodeHouse: Using a server time stamp would work, get user hardware ID (Board serial), Current Server Date and other info you think is best(Do Not use Hard Disk serial because that changes at every format...I could even develop a small app to change Hard Disk serial without formatting the drive)and SEND to server for stamping.Each time the application is launched, it confirms with the server before use. The disadvantage however, is the fact that users will require internet to use your app. Personally I don't do web things...I am strictly a desktop app developer, but all my apps have cloud capabilities. I had to develop a keygen which will combine the username of the PC and board serial to generate a unique serial key which cannot be used on another PC.

pls how do i get the hardware board ID & username ppty and how do u integrate those values for producn a unique serialID.

Ur issue is not domain-specific,but u may try to under the Regular expressions and substrings in java they will go a long way to help and have it in mind that u nid a preloaded database, literals

Good day, dear NLs, i just finished a database-driven application, i used java derby as my back end with the offline EmbeddedDriver version of d da drivers. Now i want to create an executable .exe file so i can create an installer for it,i used exe4j but the datasource couldn't be found. Please can someone guide me through on how to go about this.
NB. I used netbean for the application but itsn't the netbeans CRUD applications, just read-only mode of the database is in use.

STORM2: Any university will take botany, zoology, microbiology, physics, chemisty through direct entry for medicine. Esp if it is bsc and 2:1. I'm not sure UI can accept a 2:2. U know many ppl with high cgpa's are applying and mbbs is competitive. Unical, uniben are the two schools I'm certain can take 2:2. I've heard rumours that UNN can too. I'd advise that u think of putting a different school in place of ibadan. I'm a fellow 2:2...I'm applying to uniben I can't shout.

danox: I agree with dafoly in toto.I had a practical experience wit UI last yr.I applied for direct entry into Medicine and Surgery with a 2.1(4:27/5.00) degree in Botany from OAU Ife and my O level is made up of 4 distinctions and 4 credits wit A1 in chem,phy and Maths but I was not admitted.There was no written nor oral test for DE applicants.The admission committee of UI sent me a mail falsely accusing me of not uploading my credentials at the recommended web page hence they could not see my application when collating the first batch list.I was then asked to send three other prefered courses which I could be considered for when they were collating the supplementary list.Having had a degree in Botany,I found the request very hilarious.I however responded telling them that it was Medicine I wanted.Of course I was eventually denied the admission for no just cause.The claim of the committee about my credentials is a very bogus one because I have my print outs from the website as evidence that I uploaded my credentials at the recommended web page.I am still contemplating on going for an MSc but the problem is that I do not like Botany at all.I have finished NYSC for quite sometime now yet i am just teaching in a private school wit a very meagre pay.I really need to upgrade.I am still passionate about Medicine but time does not seem to be on my side

Some will even tell you forex is not real. About few ago, I personally ran into minor problem due partially to the broker I used and partially due to my own little error. I observed that the level of your support and resistance is sometimes different on different platform. You can believe this? If you set up your take profit and stop loss on some dubious platform, you may be whipsawed.
Going back to your questions
1. Pivot which was developed by Henry Wheeler Chase in 1930s was popularized by Larry Williams in his book and strategy, “How I Made One Million Dollars… Last Year” part of pivot point strategy has also W. Keltner in developing Keltner band. Don Lampart also used part of it to developed Commodity Channel Index (CCI). Where many people got it wrong is that they don’t read how to use pivot point very well. Please if you want to use pivot in your trading, try to learn more on it.

2. Expert Advisor or Robots are not good for my own personal fancy. I have used many of them. Let me tell you that some are good but remember no EAs can determine the future movement of price in the market. This is one area where eas is not advisable. They works well if the trend go in line with what has been programmed on it.

3. On IV Gempo and Damiani, I gave it out based on my findings and it is very good. It is very good my brother. IV Gempo was developed by instavaals and they did their best to provide this tool. When I understand that there are always noise signals, that is why I incorporated damiani. Kindly visit www.forex.marvrid.com and register free to get more resources on this.

4. On scalping with technical indicators. Let me tell you straight that unless you have a very fast internet connection, scalping might not be good for you in this part of the country. Please I will love to hear from you again if my explanation is not clear. No bogus claim, it pure simple truth. I do advice people to learn it simple first before going to take expensive and costly positions of the gurus. No doubt, there are experts in the field but it took them many years before they attained such position and many want to be like them in a single day.

i noticed that pivot points @tyms dont work all the time especially when there's an high impact news
like NFP.

Gud morning fellow NLs. I'm planning to study medicine in either UI, OAU or UNILORIN. Though i had a BSc in Botany with a 2nd class lower grade from OOU. Am seeking anyone who can help me gain the admission. To obtain the DE form and d necessary documentations is not a problem but the connection issues is what am after. I have been longing to do this b4 i entered for undergraduate entry in 2003,right now the passion to be a medical doctor still lingers on in my heart. Pls anyone who is capable to help me pls help me in the name of God... I'll be very appreciative b4 and when I have this admission. God bless u all.

1. Damiani is not used to detect a trend. after your trend detector has given you signal to buy or sell, damiani is only used to determine whether the signal is genuine one or not.
2. any time frame but the higher the timeframe, the lower the noise.
3. I could understand your point. 0.1lot gives you 1pips. If you trade o.1 lot and you win 100pips that is 100 dollars. If you trade 0.01 lot, 100 pips is 10dollars.
Where you are having the problem is that instaforex takes 1.0 to be their own mini lot. Therefore 0.1 is 1lot on instaforex platform. They confuse a lots of people with this.

1. how does it signal a buy/sell trade
2. on what time frame is it the best to use it.
3. On a micro account where u can av the minimum lot size to be 0.01, if u make 100pips is that actually 100 or 10pips if u open a lot size of 0.01. I understand that if u had such on instaforew mt4 platform u only have just 10cents in profit bt i just nid clarifications. Thank u.
