ditha:Okay, congrats once more. |
ditha:Okay, but your undergraduate is still under Forestry right? Thanks for the heads up. I will check the link out and see how it goes. |
ditha:Hello, Just came across this thread and saw your advice about scholarship. I noticed that you graduated with first class? Which field? And do you think someone graduating with first puts the person at the top tier of those to receive the scholarship under Mastercard? |

jimmychang:To some extent true. I know from the documentary I watch once that Queen Nefetiti is the most beautiful Egyptian queen but with little recognition, little information about her and she dying a shameful death (probably). She is far beautiful than Cleopatra, but Cleopatra is the greatest seductress ever to come out of Egypt. |
ThreeEyedRaven:Yes, dipped him 7 times in the river as a form of dedication to the river goddess. I was only trying to let him know that, such person could not have been killed by ordinary stabbing otherwise the numerous wars he partook in would have undone him. As for Gaus, though I don't know much about him, but for him to install cleopatra as a emperor of Egypt displacing her younger brother of 8 years, nearly lost his influence and war, when cleopatra sibling teem up with another Roman General and troops to declare war on Egypt (to reclaim the throne), as well as being declared someone with absolute power (after overcoming the others) thereby unifying Rome is no mean feat. Except if the Ceaser I know of is different from the one being discussed here. |
This is the dance move you make when success smiled on you after your years of hardwork. Don't give up and keep pushing ahead even in the face of difficulty. Success must surely smile on all of us. |
chrisblack:Kopnomi? ![]() You must be an Akwa ibomite(With all due respect to the state and the people). That was from the mouth of an ibomite that I first heard of the word. |
wearsandtrends1: ![]() Have heard the story of Achelles (don't know if I got the spelling right), a decorated fighter who only died due to a single injury on his feet (an arrow which neutralised him). All I am saying is that the man is not a fluke but a decorated Roman war general. He might have not have died from those stabs. Throughout the stabbing, he never succumbed (was still standing and staggering... I don't know if you know that) till the last stab by Brutus (Even at that, before his death, he still died honourably by using his shwal to cover his face in order to maintain his honour and diginty as a Roman Emperor). All in all, there is a possibility that his death is triggered by another thing other than the physical dagger stabs. |
ElValiente:Okay bro. |
ThreeEyedRaven:Okay, I will check it out there then |
ThreeEyedRaven:Is there any website or book which happens to be a compendium of history that you know off and where I can download such? When I was still in my school, there is this book(s) that looks like a compendium of classical works of 16th to 20th centuries ( I think). it is in volumes. I don't know the name, otherwise, I would have searched for it and download it or even buy the hard copy. It has some works like dantes hell, odessy etc. |
LordeCalifornia:Yeah, I have also held that believe that Caesar would have definitely survived those dagger stabs all things being equal. He died as a result of being betrayed by someone he trusted most. I think that is why, some scholars use it as a reference point in teaching pupils (back in the days) about treachery and betrayal by people. I always held the believe that Betrayal is far greater than actual death. Death is physical but betrayal by the least person you never expected it from kills everything in a person's life including emotion. |
PoliteActivist:To stress the sacarsam bro. Let assume that we don't know the person bearing that name, (Though not his real name), that is where the sacarsam I am referring to lies in. Maybe, I should have framed the statement in another way with another name. Another example, Let say the president was forming Voltron or Thor as if he is immune to the virus... |

PoliteActivist:Not really. That comment was a sarcastic way of saying that someone is acting non chalantly and lack of concern for established protocol. It is similar to another statement made about giving to casear what belongs to casear (but literally, the meaning is not that). In summary, just see it as a statement that bears no reference to the person who answers the name (of course, who we know is a Nigerian) |
This president was initially forming Don Jazzy as if he is immune from the virus. He had never believed in wearing mask but want others to always put it on. Speedy recovery to him and the wife. |
Even by Nigerian standards, that is an expensive meal which you cooked. 1 course meal = #1500 naira is very expensive. In some families, that money can help someone prepare a delicious soup that can last a week for family of 4 (minimum). Bro, İ don't think the economy is affecting you in Nigeria. |
TheWealthiestMan:Good offer then. And, I am not on any legend mode like most of our top members. |
TheWealthiestMan:Any idea what the fees are like? |
Mugiwaraluffy:Can you paste a clearer picture of some questions to see what it is like? What is the payment structure? per hour or per question and how much? I might consider this option if it is better. This September has been so poor for me. It is as good as not working this month considering all issues I had, the lack of questions and what have you. |
Neroiam:Okay |
To be honest, this war is uncalled for. If it was to be judged by physical land boundary, the area in dispute should belong to Azerbaijan. Since the can not resolve their issue peacefully without going to war, I have done that for them ![]() The area labelled 1(inclusive of the green boundary should go to Armenia while the area labelled 2, which is the place in dispute should be given to Azerbaijan. UN should rectify it and resolve this conflict. Let the world bother itself with how to solve this pandemic issue rather being drawn into unnecessary war. That reminds me, Syrian war, is there a truce reached by all parties over there currently due to this pandemic?
|
Neroiam:When you say less than 15 minutes, does it still hold for a payment sent during the weekend? Also, there has been stories of payment sent out in the morning and it will indicate arrival time of +5hours later, thereby negating this whole less than 15 minutes arrival. |
Strange things are happening. Imagine what the guy's mother will be thinking? His son washing a girl's pant on a national TV (Something he had probably never done for his sisters). I think in some families, you will be outrightly be disowned for bringing disrepute to the family name with that singular action. |
Lind2:by calling them? To be honest, I feel for everyone. This their method is not a good one. Online booking would still be the best. |
From the emoji, you should know he is joking na. |
Uniquisite:I have been off the platform for sometime. Don't know if it is a new system introduced. Same with the number of questions reduced. |
Hello all, Is there anyone who was able to access Fast Answering in content tool? |
Shamelz420:If your sponsor can grant you access to funds, it is better you open the account in your name while he transfer the money to your account. Later, you process the credit card under your name. Anything sponsorship would take time to verify especially when the sponsor is living in another country. To me, the credit card option remains the best though I don't know if the fluctuating naira will have an effect on the credit available on the card or if it is tied to one of the stable world currency (dollar, euro, pounds). |
