Why is it that many of you say "the Blacks" or "this [b]black [/b]girl, guy, person", when speak in regard to us AA. That doesn't make sense to me, because it's said as if you aren't black yourself. Can someone please explain this to me, without any smart ass comments, because this is an actual genuine question in which I've witnessed some other AA question.

lol, I think I can help clear things up. EDDY2222 is actually my Nigerian boyfriend. i am Diane2222 which is an African American female originally from chicago.
