Acidosis: In short I don't even know if this is a beauty contest or batty contest...

If beauty means big batty...then Iya Basira the food vendor in my street ought to be crown Miss Universe...
What is beauty to you is something else to others and vice versa. There aint no yardsyick for beauty.

If people vote for a contestant based on her 'batty', wwhich they find beautiful, can you tell me the crime there?

You voted for contestant based on something you like about her, others are doing the same about their contestants too.

Efforts to obfuscate this competition based on batty is a weak attempt by the opposition camp who seem to be counting their losses already.

Advice- magnify the qualities of your contestants and stop complaining about the progress of the other camps

mapet: Howhuh? If I may ask?

Ideas and Ideals are not exclusive preserve of a few, even if it originates from a single entity. Kano State government sent reps to Lagos to learn about the BRT scheme. Aregbesola himself sent his waste mgt team to Lagos to learn about waste mgt.

I think it's honorable for states to extend this scheme to their domain as well. It's lofty, it's despirately need to be extended to all school children in Nigeria
You probably did not get my drift. I was referring to some nefarious characters on Nairaland who turns a blind eye to progress and turns any sign of development into a di..ck comparing contest.

omonuan: If you look at my footprint here on Naira land, I recently started commenting on religious issues after being here for more than three years, Previously, I had just thought that religion is a personal thing and brings out the raw emotions people have.Lately, I have seen that Religious zealots are threatening to turn this world into hell.
After watching Adegboloja and his cohort butcher a human being in London in full view of others with religion as the incentive, I decided to be more proactive because as Edmund Burke said evil triumphs when good men do nothing.
You are in for one hell of a ride. I dont need to warn you of the emotions that comes along with religion as you seem well aware of that. However, I must inform you that Nairaland puts religuous zealousness unto a whole new level of madness and I see you have been actively engaged. After a while, I assure you, you will be forced to revert to your earlier stance and leave people to their delusions.

Shooting another human to show that the 'jazz' works is not vanity??

bolaino: kk, but just for argument's sake, if you were the spirit in charge of this "jazz" would u allow your powers to be used on a goat to prove your worth? Just asking?
Yes, if it will prove doubters wrong and put them to shame. Not to mention the multitude of gathering I (the spirit) will gather.

Image123: I do not know of any part in history where murder and killings are normal, quote or unquote. i hope you did as i asked and got some perspective on your logic.
Then you need to keep shut. Throughout written and oral history, there has been evidence of some sort of killing or murder including those sanctioned by the Gods of most faiths. To this very generation, murder happens across all spectrum of humanity, regardless of creed, race or background. All manner of people kill including Christians, Muslims,Atheists, Agnostics, husbands, wives, children etc

Killing is a normal part of our humanity, it is consistent and inevitable, so stop being dishonest just to prove your point.

Why don't you follow your asinine advice and get some perspective on the logic put to you?
Christianity EtcRe: Satan by dare2think: 11:25pm On May 26, 2013
Image123: Substitute 'killing' and put 'devil' in your post and perhaps get some perspective on your logic.
I repeat, can you name a part in history where murder and killings are not 'normal'?

~Bluetooth:
They knew he was a potential terrorist yet they didn't ship him to gitmo but tried to recruit him as an agent. Was that why the police didn't arrive till 30 mins after the crime ?
I don't know the intricate details of police response, but I know they call specific unit when it relates to gun or knife incidents.

It makes sense to try to recruit him as he would be the better candidate as opposed to an outsider.

I have witnessed a violent stabbing in London and it took more than 20 min for the police to come and it took 15min for the ambulance to arrive.

Can you explain why you think a late arrival by the police connotes ulterior motives?

tintingz: The secret is unfolding... Everything was planned by the british agency...just like femi fani-kayode said about the whole crime scene
Ok. Nothing to do with Islamic fundamentalism or religious fanaticism.

When did fani become an expert in crime scene techniques? What has he contributed to Nigeria's forensic dept?

Dude, please do not waste your time, conspiracy theorists find it easier to believe in mundane reasoning so as to justify their foray into pseudo-detective delusions.

People strapping bombs on themselves so as to impress their God is acceptable, but to go into religion over-drive and kill a soldier for the same God is inconceivable!

There is an agenda for everything. The cat crossing the road every morning must be because of some world order agenda.

And you wonder how difficult it is that folks believe in the 72 virgins theory, all in the name of 'opening your mind to the secrets of the west'.

What do you expect? How else will you effectively fight terrorism without resorting in counter-intelligence tactics.

You expect them to consult a Christian or an Hindu to get information about Islamic terrorism.
