sexkillz: Pray tell, how constructive is calling him a retardeen?sexkills, This rule should then apply to all public figures and position holders in all aspects of life. Including, the Opposition, Pastors, Atheists, public speakers, boko haram spokesmen, Pdp office holders, Apc office holder, religious and non-religious office holders, Obama, Morsi and an endless list. Applying this rule to Jonathan alone negates your claim of neutrality! (Not that I accuse you of doing that) It must be applied to all other spectrum of life, as adherents to the subject matter would feel aggrieved when others insult their plulic figures or ideals. |
Marriage after 5months!!! Wake up! |
sexkillz: So because I'm against insulting public office holders on Nairaland, my knowledge of politics is limited? I can see how great your knowledge is, since all you do is insult a sitting president from the comfort of your home. There is something called constructive criticism, but I doubt that with all the knowledge in politics you have, you still do not have the knowledge of criticising constructively, so all you do is insult. What may be 'constructive criticism' to some is insult to others. Which yardstick do we use in deciding what is constructive or not? Yours? ![]() |
I reiterate; dare2think: Why then should you and your church be worried about other people's mode of dressing and threatening them with hell?? |
dare2think: Why then should you and your church be worried about other people's mode of dressing and threatening them with hell?? OLAADEGBU: Did you say "born again" is nonsense to you? I know understand why you are a fan of frosbel.Dont obfuscate, answer my question above! |
OLAADEGBU: Don't worry about the design of her dress. You concern should be how you can become born again. Why then should you and your church be worried about other people's mode of dressing and threatening them with hell?? Shouldn't your concern be being 'born again', whatever nonsense that means! |
OLAADEGBU: This evangelist who is a member of Benson Idahosa's church, (God's Mission) is recommending Deeper Life's way of dressing to make heaven. But the evangelist's way of dressing in the video is too exposed for a child of God. The design on her dress and her exposed flesh is unbeffiting. She is in no position to 'recommend' any mode of dressing as I find her dressing too worldly. |
lol @ religious vagabonds and thugs. Whats the difference btw you and the Taliban. Imposing your beliefs and doctrines unto others and threaten them with hell for resisting. |
Wahala90: Most people will always try to use their human senses or perception to judge or criticize the things of God. They may seem right or even appear like intellects in their judgement but they cannot change God or stop Him. God is God. He is the maker and owner of every life. Therefore, you cannot question Him for taking what belongs to Him, whether directly or He asks someone to do so. What we know is that He is righteous in His deeds. Moreover, He knows His Sheep and they know His voice.Just the way Boko haram listens to God and slaughters children and innocent people. Remember, they too know his voice. |
italo: I could tell if it were God...and if it werent.HOW? you can identify God's voice!! ![]() Tell us, what accent does he have?? |
Pope is still living in the past century!! Nigerian Mog are past humble cars, they need humble Private Jets |
You Need Help If you Believe the nonsense written in the OP! Blackberry kingdom!!!! Is that a Nollywood script. WTF!! |
Man Made Doctrines = Man Made Results |

Used them to trade, now they are getting all jiffy when we do the same. The British have deprived us of our cousins and relations ![]() Usain Bolt might be your cousin you know! ![]() |

God knows that Neymar is my Cousin, now I cant spend all that money with him because of the bloody british merchants. ![]() Carry on my 15 year old brother. |
mondi_cheeks: how did I become xenophobicI explained why your posts sounded xenophobic. I am not attacking your person and did not call you xenophobic.Perhaps, you are not aware of how your posts sound. Just thought I should highlight my observations to you. |
Moni Cheeks I keep noticing from your post words like 'outsider', 'leave' and 'go back home'. The xenophobic nature compounded in your posts makes your point, though salient, feels like an ulterior motive is being on show Rhetorics like these reminds one of the early days of Hitler in Power, words like yours were used everyday to persecute the jews. Just saying! |
Atleast suarez is consitent in his scoring, he might as well be the black horse that would land Arsenal the much needed trophy. If he does not get another 8 match ban though. ![]() |
Well, I feel 17 mill Egyptians know what's good for them, they live there and more importantly they seem to be happy with the outcome. The best way for this to settle well is to reach out to all political factions, including the MB. A swift election would be necessary. |
tbaba1234: I would argue that the problem seems to be the pace of implementation and the hard line stance of government.Hence the reason that I stated 'part' in my post. I believe Egyptians wanted a secular constitution, if not why would Morsi feel the need to bully his way to form a new constitution. |
Ola one: Why are you arguing like this? Even primary school kids know this.If you call that arguing, you probably should join me in primary school. I disagreed and stated my notion. Debunk it or keep mute. |
tbaba1234: ^ If you took a poll, most egyptians would support the sharia, that is why the MB won in the first place.I humbly dis-agree, it is well known that anti-Islamic constitution is part of the factor behind the protest. |
Mee234: Administratively and in term of executive functions, YES.I know that, I excused specificity intentionally. |
Ola one: She does wield enormous power. But, she is not in charge. And how many rubbished the same Thatcher. Rubbishing someone does not undermine anybody, except in a dictatorship. |
politician: according to this logiclol. I agree, it is a bad precedent. Egypt is in trouble, I reckon anyway. However, if handled well, it may turn out well in the end. I doubt it though. |
Ola one: Ceremonial, man. Come off this, man.Be that as it may, you still can not undermine the enormous power she controls unconstitutionally. Let us not digress. Legitimacy is key. |
Ola one: Yes and yes again.I bet millions of Brits disagree. David Cameron had to ask the Queen for permission to lead HER country. |
Prof Corruption: I had a good laugh. Some will argue that as long as people stand in front of a ballot box, it qualifies as a democracy. That's how some African leaders manage to stay in power for decades. Manipulation due to lack of proper definition. |
Ola one: In democracy, the elected are the most powerful. And, remember, I put "true" in inverted comma. Is David Cameron more powerful than the Queen of England? Yes or No |
Ola one: So having a supreme leader who wields even more power than elected leaders is okay and fundamental to democratic norms? That is my point with you, democratic norms vary from country to country. Iran still possess some basic elements of democracy, I.e people will vote for a candidate of their choice etc. Hence, it can still be classified, subjectively, as a democracy, regardless of the Supreme Ayatollah. America called itself a democracy in a period when black people were not allowed to vote. There is no proper, universally accepted definition of a democracy. |
Ola one: You think Iran is a 'true' democracy? Where they have a supreme leader? There is no such thing as 'true democracy', each country forge their type of democracy. If Iranians call theirs a democracy, another country can't challenge it Example: Some 18 yr olds can vote in some democracies and some can't in others. |
tbaba1234: Popularity polls change. The fact that a leader is not popular in his first year in office does not mean he will not get better.I somewhat disagree. The new leader had started showing traces of the old deposed one. He was showing traces of tyranny under the guise of democracy. The Egyptians refused to be fooled and docile. To add fire to explosion, he started leaning towards 'Islamification' of the constitution. The military had to get involved, millions on the streets already, the situation could easily transform to Syria. He lost legitimacy. In politics, under any type of leadership, be it democracy or authoritarian or Monarchy, you lose legitimacy, you lose power. He is lucky he is still alive. If this happened in the 70s or 80s, his body would have been paraded at the back of a military wagon. |
