Cannes, renowned for its film festival, prestigious hotels, restaurants and boulevard jam packed with exclusive designer stores is one of the favourite social hubs of the jetset all over the world.

No matter how often one visits the principalities of Monaco and Monte Carlo, it's almost impossible not to be wowed by the sheer opulence and extravagance of this playground of the world's rich and restless. From the breathtaking panoramic views from it's cliffs, the charm of the old town, Oceanographic museum, its palaces and cathedrals, and of course, Chi and I were keen to tour the course used for the Formula One Grand Prix. Though Chi got to fulfill her dream of visiting the Opera House in Monte Carlo, there was No gambling for her at the famous Grand Casino.
