This is very condemnable project . Ogun State should be among the top 5 richest states in Nigeria due to its proximity to Lagos. So we can rule out paucity of funds. These tricycles are not even durable and are already a nightmare on our roads. Their life span is less than one third of a conventional vehicle. The tricycle can hardly reach top speed with being likely to crash. Ambulances, like police vehicles are supposed to be sturdier than regular vehicles. These tricycles have a higher rate of fatality in the case of an accident. As for the clown asking people to pay more taxes, what has been done with the taxes that were paid? Why are our politicians driving the latest models of exotic cars as official vehicles? I am not impressed by these kind of project especially in a state like Ogun. |
IPOB will start a conflict and when the army comes after them they will start complaining, if they didn't pick up arms during the EndSARS protest wike wouldn't have called in the military and nobody would have been arrested. NaijirianKing:O Lord, Please humble this brother like you did to Nebuchadnezzar |
Hello Nairalanders, I'm seeking advice on how to start a rental business in the Movie and Entertainment Industry. I intend to rent out equipment that is needed for video production. My target market is people who are starting out in this industry. I have been able to do a little research on some of the equipment that I need. They include: 1. Tripods 2. Video Cameras 3. Lighting Kits 4. Shotgun Microphones 5. Wireless Microphones 6. Portable Digital Audio Recorders 7. Lenses 8. Drones 9. Gimbals I have been able to procure the following equipment: 1. Neewer LED 660 Video Light 2. Sony A6400 Camera 3. Endurax Heavy Duty Stand 4. Rode Video Micro I am hoping that this is enough to start while assessing market demand before procuring more expensive gear. But I have some questions to ask. 1. What is the best way to get customers? Do I need to have a website, use social media or pay for classified ads? 2. I am still searching for info on the market rate for renting these equipments? For instance, I have the Neewer 2 Pack LED Lights and the Sony a6400 camera and I'm not sure what the daily or weekly rental rate should be? 3. How do I ensure that the equipment rented out is not damaged or stolen? Do I need to have someone physically present at the venue where the equipment is to be used?. Can I charge a caution fee and require renters to sign an agreement? Is it possible to get a comprehensive Insurance package that covers usage by 3rd parties, and helps to mitigate these risks? 4. What other equipment is in high demand for this kind of business? I'd appreciate any advice especially from people who are in this field. Thanks in Advance |
I was so touched by this story . thanks to everyone that has contributed. You guys just made my day. Op please take your studies seriously. |
The evil day has just been postponed. The Ivoriens are gonna tear this team silly. We need prayers o.Dem pass us. |
I must say that the Nigerian team is a terrible disappointment.Despite the fact that Group C is the easiest to qualify from,we are yet to boast of a single win. Our chances will be debated after the outcome of Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia Match.I see History repeating itself. |
Cool.I love this puzzle.Does any one know the name of this kind of images.Obviously they are not mirages, illusions or reflections. Thanks |

I believe it takes about 48 hours for someone to be declared missing.Does any1 have details of the whereabouts of donziko. Its quite strange that he has not come back to comment.Am very sure he would have made a comment if Chibuzor did not pay him.So why the silence now?Or has he been kidnapped by Chibuzor? |
Panting heavily after reading same thread for over 4hours Hope Donziko is alive. He must be from a very remote village(no network) or bush culture(ingrate).Or are you telling me that If Chibuzor had failed to pay,he would still be lying low? Thanks to surveyprof.you re the man. Conclusion To be scammed, you must be greedy.or hw do u expect to buy those items so cheap unless of course they were stolen. Pls the thread seems to be derailing. We need to focus on main issues and avoid side attractions. Chibuzor Eze is a thief and a scammer that should be exposed. If by next week he doesnt deliver the said items or refund money,I expect Survey Prof to publish pictures of all his family members because they might also be in the business. Proud to be Nigerian. |

Who is this T.A Orji.I am yet to see one person who says he has done well on this thread.Surprisingly,he is on his 2nd Term and received over 90% of votes in the last gubernatorial elections. The governor publicly acknowledged that his first term was a failure attributing his failure to his predecessor. How come he was voted in again.? Ironically, this governor seems to have good media rankings on his State.I do hope to visit Abia to see some of the good works he claims to have done.Perhaps,he may surprise me as Akpabio did. |
Whether the university was built with Church money or not should not be an issue. The fact that the Man Of God was able to invest in Nigeria is a plus.Anyone who has been to CU will attest to this.CU ranks among the top 3 universities in Nigeria today,if not the best. If the man of God is lying,we can only leave him to his God to judge him. As for the OP,i think you should focus on the greater good.So rather than take up issues that are too wonderful for your understanding,I suggest that you invest your wisdom in other productive ventures.(who knows.Perhaps your most outstanding achievement in life may never be anything close to building a university.who knows?). If all the so called rich men in Nigeria have invested their wealth in this country,we would be far more advanced that Most European Countries. This issue has received undue publicity. |

Lanreclassic: Efforts by the two parties to work together before that election fell through following disagreement over the choice of running mate for General Muhammadu Buhari. An alliance between the North and the West can only benefit the North. Its 2 votes against one.I suggest that they agree on a presidential candidate for 2015 elections before going into any merger. |
In the past few day,the security situation in Lagos seems to have deteriorated. As I write there's been an ongoing shootout around Ilupeju and Anthony Area.Only a few days ago, residents in Lekki Area awoke to a high profile armed robbery attack. Our streets are no longer safe.Every night,I hear the dreaded sound of gunshots for hours. Why the sudden violence?God help us. |
Based on interactions with my friends,Hausa is most certainly, the easiest to learn , followed by Yoruba(a lot of yoruba dudes speak the language fluently and are proud to show off their linguistic prowess). The most difficult by popular opinion is Igbo. This is because of its diversity. In Abia for instance, there are over 50 distinct variations or dialects of Igbo.I hear Igbo but when my cousins from enugu speak their dialect, boy,I just cant understand a thing.(Even most igbo dudes ve seen cant speak the language well) However, after spending one year of National Service in Akwa Ibom,I am convinced that Ibibio Language(though unpopular) is one of the most complicated and difficult languages.None of the copas i knew was able to master the language. Ibibio has a complex phonological structure and has a lot of nasal pronouciations. The language is highly polyphonic and almost identical to what u see in chinese movies. When spoken, you may not even be able to pick up a word coz they speak so fast and the words flow together like a song. |
These revelations are shocking. It undermines our intelligence and reduces our census to a mere mathematical juxtaposition.Where did all the billions that was voted for this exercise go into.?I mean population census figures are very critical to state/national planning and development. Our leaders have fooled us again. I always knew Lagos was more populous than Kano. From every indication,an evil scheme such as this favors the North. Our northern politicians will stop at nothing in their fight for dominance. This should be further investigated and anyone found guilty should be given capital punishment. This is National Treason! |
naijaking1: No matter what, you'll agree that if Gowon writes his own memeoir, it will be compared and judges by history alongside that of Achebe. That's how history is judges, not by a shouting match.Believe me,if Gowon was truly innocent of the charges,he would have written his memoirs a long time ago. That's the least any reasonable individual will do.Rather than apologize and create room for further integration,Gowon believes he can defend his actions during the war.If he had consulted his lawyer before making such statements,he would have known that his chances of acquittal is one in a million.HE MUST BE AN IGNORAMUS.Sir,Every Head of State that has been tried at the ICJ for war crimes has been convicted. The mere fact that Gowon failed to prevent the genocide indicts him already. The Igbo genocide was the worst in Nigeria's history.Children and women were among the primary targets of that war.Can Gowon defend his 'no victor,no vanquished' cliche when every igbo was given just 20 pounds in exchange for all their biafran money. The aim of that war was not just to regain the Nigerian empire but to silence the voice of the igbos. If the Ohaneze or any igbo group were to take up this matter,it may lead to disintegration. As for the man AWO,of blessed memory. He was the Financial Minister at the time and he knew the implications of returning 20 pounds to every Igbo for all their millions. It was actually his idea. This was a region that was ravaged by intense poverty and hunger. This act was one that would slow down development in the area and set the Igbo's back by over 30 years.Shortly after this period,Nigeria embarked on privatization that was under Awo. The Igbo's had no money, the hausa's were not enlightened and the Yoruba's acquired over 80% of Industries in Nigeria.Truth be said,Awo's actions made him the most tribalized leader Nigeria ever had.Though nothing can take away the fact that he was a great leader for his people. As a country,I believe we all can work together, hausa yoruba, igbo, urhobo, efik, ibibio, itsekiri etc(aside from the folks conducting the regular bombings in the North). Our strength lies in our number. No African country can boast of half of our population. However in the interest of National Integration,Gowon should apologize to the Igbos. He is in the best position to clear the mess. |
