Mr. Seun, it is very commendable of you, as the founder, to ask users how Nairaland can be made more intuitive. That level of openness to feedback is truly admirable.

As a regular user of Nairaland, I honestly believe there isn’t much that requires improvement at the moment. While some users have suggested that the platform needs a UI overhaul, I respectfully disagree. A complete redesign could temporarily reduce visits, as many long-time users would need time to adjust to a new interface.

Nairaland is primarily an information-based platform, and its simplicity is one of its greatest strengths. The current layout is straightforward, functional, and easy to navigate. I personally know many users aged 60 and above who actively use Nairaland everyday and a major redesign could create unnecessary cognitive overload for them.

Alhamdullilah today, I am still in my recovery phase, but things are way better than then and the future looks bright for me 😎😎😎

This perfectly mirrors my late brother's story. I never imagined I would be sharing this on Nairaland. He wasn't an okada rider, but he worked tirelessly to support his wife and two children, while she didn't work. Despite my warnings that those he sacrificed for would move on if he died, he didn't listen. Then, unexpectedly, he passed away without any prior illness. I suspect hypertension played a role. It's only been a month, and I still mourn him. If only he had heeded our advice. Miss you, Big Bro.

Had a cousin live with me once. I gave him my bedroom and I slept on the sofa. He paid no rent, apparently assuming the government paid citizen's rent, and would eat everything left in my pot after I ate.

One eay I went to Peckham, bought fish and Guinness and went home to cook rice and dodo. As I was eating, he arrived and asked if I'd taken all I want so he can eat the rest as je normally would, but I told him I hadn't, and would be eating it all as I didn't cook any for him. All the Guinness was mine too, I said, which shocked him as I usually share. "Oh", I said, "and when I finish, I'd like a word please".

"Did your family (my maternal) tell you my family owes you and you should come and collect", I asked. That's when he told me he thought the government was feeding me and paying my rent.

"So, when you see me go to work l, What's that", I asked.

We decided he'd be paying rent and would contribute to electric and water and buy his own food or pay for mine if he eats it. He stayed for 5 years and sensitised the 8 other people who stayed with us in that time.

He did run up my landline with calls to America so I got a £200+ bill. I called the person, got number from itemised bill, and found out it was his friend before confronting him. He said he thought it would not count because the phone was locked and he'd found a way around it.

Can you imagine?! You mean you tolerated this for this long. Sigh
