Konjour: If you're that concerned about the abolition of homosexual relations in Nigeria, were you handicapped from protesting while the bills banning them were being deliberated upon in the National Assembly of Nigeria? Even in those countries that are 'First-World' and accept it, the majority of their peoples are still not in support of it and the governments that have legalized it didn't do it cuz of Zap all freedom of thoughts or speech or whatever, they did it purely cuz of the political implications it'd have. A lot of the states in the US have not even accepted it yet. It has been debated back and forth in Westminster Abbey for about a decade or so and its only gaining some foothold within the Lords and MPs cuz some of them are also homosexuals, and the Prime minister is concerned about how to win the votes of the homo population even if they are a minority. All votes count, otherwise in such a conservative society such as Britain's, where Wayne Rooney was banned for weeks and fined heavily from playing football for saying 'f.uc..k' on TV (and was said to be a bad role model to children cuz of that), you normally won't find such, the same Britain is now set to permit gays to kiss freely and grope about on the streets, get married in Churches/Mosques, and even adopt kids. Which kinds of kids would Gays and Lesbos raise? Who would explain to those kids that their homo parents have 'sex' and its not a civil partnership? How would the said kids feel if they happen to become religious while growing up? A devastated child isn't it? That homosexuality has been in existence since pre-historic times doesn't mean its normal. If you're pro-homosexuality based on freedom of thoughts, speech, deeds and all, go propose with a ring to your mother in front of your father in Africa and watch their reaction, or better still grab your sister or brother and make him/her see reasons as to becoming your bride or groom. Afterwards, claim you did it cuz you're naturally wired that way. Afterall, its a free world. If you're in Africa, respect the African cultures and norms. Otherwise, respectfully do one.

That said, the Funmi woman crying wolf over her banned show knew she was putting her reputation and show on the line when she called the dude up, innit? She risked a lot of things to propagate her beliefs, it back-fired and it was good that she sucked it up. If she wants to do stuff like that, let her go and apply to work at CNN. They'd happily take her in if she's qualified.
u have successful explained why gay ppl shouldn't be given freedom right? Cos the whole txt u wrote was shameless and pure wastage of space,,, leave the gays to roam bytch,,,, I bet ure even worse than them... Who knows u might even be a murderer ,,, huh? Why don't we strip u of u own rights bytch??

mrvocalprowess: U know,if we are lookin frm d moral point of view, den all nigerians are guilty.wats d main issue against gays in africa?-its sinful, its against "Gods word",against our tradition!but same tradition allowed killing of twins!same tradition alowed polygamy!same tradition alowed woman battery! But tins av changed,we need 2 realise gays hav rights too,dey are humans n av feelings like d straight pple,2 grown men dat wants 2 shag eachoda z nbdy consine cos its nt hurtin anybdy!! U may say-dnt paedophile's hav a right too?hell no!paedophilia hav huge negativ physical impact on d litle girl dats y its wrng, but homosexuality doesn't!WE NEEED TO GIVE GAY PPLE DIER BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS n stop dis shallow excuse of religion or sin!or isn't fornication a sin too?? U can imagine how nigerians will react if d govt decides 2 make sex outside marriage illegal.....

torgbe: Nigeria's GDP is expected to be better than that of GH's(fact) but I'm talking of the living condition of the average Ghanaian to the average Nigerian.

I didn't even start this, its Ur fellow Nigerian. I just came in to defend my homeland...y'all don't expect a Ghanaian to fold his arms when his Homeland is being ridiculed

we all still 3rd world..let's put our energies towards building a better Africa rather than celebrating
mediocrity

God Bless Ghana,God bless Nigeria, God bless Africa

torgbe: this is the more reason I love banku & Tilapia guy on NL..u people bring Ghana into any topic that Got nothing to do with it. You feel good comparing my country's success to yours

Never worry,Nigeria still got success stories to tell
bro.. Nigeria is by far more efficient urbanized tht yall , d GDP or Rivers alone supersedes tht of the whole of GH,,, Bro d only flaw we have is tht of corrupt leaders, and a matter of fact is every country has its portion of corrupt leaders who wanna embezzle and all... But the diffrnce is tht our leaders do it openly , unlike ur so called holy pretentious gh tht does theirs in secret....oh and news flash !! No one actually considers u ppl holy.... U are older than us yeah true,,, but we have gone sooo much further than u all, even though. U are smaller in size and should be able to cater for ever one, but there u are still lagging behind nigerians dust...wen Nigeria as a whole talks u all should STFU. Cos in top 10 of Africa Nigeria d third beside SA and Egypt... But where da Fvck are u all at d bck back back, when ur sis is in the 1st three... So now who is d lagger bro,,,, I love GH I reallly do, had a Nice time there but bro, who has beaten u has beaten u, no one can come out now and say Naija is better than SA true, becos we all know yes its more urbanized. Than here, so bro from Gh , who has beaten u has beaten u, and in this case we are d Beaters and u GH bro are the Beaten smiley One love

axum: almost 0. I don't see why somalis would go to nigeria. As most somalis who live in kenya and ethiopia have lived there historically for hundreds of years. Those who leave somalia go to the middle east or the to kenya in hopes of going to the west.

why do you ask if their are somalis in nigeria, thats very odd. I would be surprised if there were more than 10 somalis in all of nigeria. And those might be business people or government employees.
, my man , we are even planning on expeling them 4 here . They are d boko harams here,,, in d north where I stay here in Kaduna, somalis esp d winkas d ones with the long foreheads are killed anyhow here by d JTF like Dogs ,
