I'm sure both you and the guy you quoted are igbos. I have observed that most people from the east don't like to hear anything education. Just money, money, money.

I live with some folks in fct and they from Delta. When I told them I wanted to do masters they were so negative about it.

The man kept going on about how I won't get someone to marry because men feel threatened by ladies with higher education. I asked him why should that be, and he said I should ask him again. I was appalled.

I don't want marry an insecure man sef in the first place.

The whole family hated the idea that I wanted to further my education, i kept wondering.

I'm from the southwest and it's unheard of for a person not to go for second degree following the first.

I just had to close my ears to what those guys were saying and follow my dream

i want a wife that keeps adding value to herself, cause i cannot be attracted to a female i dont respect.
