PoliticsRe: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by dasa: 6:23pm On Apr 17, 2011
it is the little things like free and fair election and  fuel supply that  people used to jugde the ability of GEJ to perform. He has only been president for 10months. Can anyone comfortably say he has not done any worthy of praise?

he is on the right track, shun sentiment and support him, afterall he made it possible for your vote to count. By appointing jega, funding inec properly, and staying out of inec

PoliticsRe: I Don Surrender! Results From The North. by dasa: 1:53pm On Apr 17, 2011
@Abagworo, what do you mean pdp rigged the northern results. Do mean GEJ does not have supporters in the north?
yesterday, everybody was happy that the election was free and fair, now that some people are loosing they are claiming the election was rigged. where cant people lose with honour.

Those figures where not rigged.

Besides there are reports of massive under age voting in many areas where CPC won. But of course you wont say anything about it because it was CPC that did it. the PDP is not shouting yet because they are ahead.

PoliticsRe: Run-off 4 Sure- Not Good For 9ja (north Vs South) by dasa: 8:42pm On Apr 16, 2011
Only the southerners believe in Issues and personalities. for the north, it is north vs south.

We from the south that don't want to see that it is a Born to rule power struggle.

The north always has a clear agenda and they work towards it.

Southerners that voted for CPC do not understand what is at stake.

However, i doubt there will be a run off. Jonathan will get 25% in 2/3rds of the state and will have higher votes. even if the margin is not wide.

People of the south wake up, we are not yet one nation, fight for the right to control the center so you can influence the growth of your area.

If buhari wins, southerners go beg for projects tire, its exactly what he did with PTF. lets keep watching sha.

buhari will win the whole north don't worry

all he needs is 25% of the south and from the looks of things he is getting that
i wonder where you are getting your information from. even in the North he wont win everywhere. CPC is putting up a good fight sha. but the entire south west is for GEJ.

@poster, if you pay now, sahara reporters will write why you will win the election, and we know you are not contesting. Where did they get thier figures from? Why do they report rumours. If they were a real media house, they'll know how and what to report.

Sahara reporters is still functioning today because people like you still believe them.

They are just angry that non of the pdp campaign funds came thier way.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Broke Into Tears by dasa: 1:27pm On Apr 14, 2011
I didnt know buhari was a good actor. zebb ejiro and co, please cast him in you next movie, the part where every one cries will do.

Nice PR stunt.

Why didnt he cry as PTF chairman when he favoured only his region and neglected the rest of the country, especially the region that has the petroluem that funded the organisation.

why didnt he cry when he helped abacha stay in power.

why didnt he cry when his boss Abacha was looting us and killing democracy activists.

Now he wants to be a democratically elected president after carrying out a coup against one and returning us to military rule.

Its is not about bieng sincere, iits not about being disciplined. its about having love for the whole country and not just your area alone. and having the courage to take the right steps towards development.

A prayer for suppoters of GEJ

As you cast you vote for pdp come saturday, may any bad policies they (pdp government) pass (if they get to win) affect you, you family and generation yet unborn 100 times more than it will affect any other group of person(s)

Any curse you throw on the president and any member of the pdp party, may it bounce back to you, your family and generation yet unborn in a million folds.

May you never get to regret for a second why you voted the pdp into power for if you do (even for a second) then and only then will your suffering start to multiply.

May you be the shield to absolve/absorb ALL the bad policies passed unto the masses and the country as a whole.

AMEEN!!!

beef and others i want you all to say amen to the above prayer.
Amen thanks for the prayer. my own prayer is that you and your family will continue to have fuel scarcity while it is available to everyone else.

now to my post,

what Buhari and IBB want is to match OBJ's record of being the leader  Twice. wetin im wan do now wey im no do that time. he belongs to the generation that killed Nigeria, he even played a major role in the murder, and all this young people that cant remember anything are shouting his name.

abeg, we dont believe you, na pepe you put for eye. trying to appeal for sympathy by crying. your PR guys scripted that well sha.

fake beaf. i am not reasonable at all, thats why i am voting GEJ.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Broke Into Tears by dasa: 6:51pm On Apr 13, 2011
He can cry all he wants. we dont believe you.

Buhari will run Nigeria how he ran PTDF, all major projects like interstate roads go to the north while small gutters and side walks go to the south. People, pls try and see this man for who he is.
I agree he is more upright than most of his northern brothers. But on a national scale, he will only focus on the development of the north and not Nigeria as a whole.

Also remember he is part of the problem not the solution. He ended our democracy in 1983, and worked hard to keep abacha in office.
He represents what we should be running away from as a nation.

But our hate for PDP and our refusal to see the progress GEJ has made in Just 10 months is seriouly blinding many people.

Me i dey cry for Buhari right now, for thinking the people have forgoten who he is.
PoliticsRe: Why Ribadu Step Down Will Not Help Buhari by dasa(op): 2:42am On Apr 13, 2011
@Eko Ile, unnecessary english my brother. say what you want, you know i have a point. i said the same thing during the PDP primaries and i believe its the same scenario again. you are just in denial.

many people say ribadu's step down means the death of GEJ's ambition. i think its the opposite, i even think the whole thing is arranged by GEJ and PDP from behind the scenes. I repeat, RIBADU is back in Nigeria because GEJ let him return, and i have always believed he is working for PDP. i might be wrong sha.

But it is nice to see everyone interested in this elections.
PoliticsWhy Ribadu Step Down Will Not Help Buhari by dasa(op): 2:03am On Apr 13, 2011
before i start my analysis i got the info. that ribadu has stepped down here.

http://dailytimes.com.ng/article/breaking-nuhu-ribadu-stands-down

ok lets go, 2 reason's.

1.   Ribadu supporters will be split between GEJ and Buhari. Most of Ribadu's Northern supporters will go to Buhari while the souttherners will mostly go to GEJ. And i believe he has more support in the south west than in the north because he is ACN. therefore in the whole equation GEJ gets more votes. There are so many people who believe Buhari cannot be trusted but they want PDP out, so the next best thing is Ribadu.

2.   Because of the late timming, millions of Ribadu/ACN supporters especially in the rural areas will not get the info or understand it. this group will still vote for ACN and the votes cannot be transfered, so those votes will be null. With these votes no longer in the equation, it becomes easier to win a clear majority and reduces the chances of a re run.

Its the same thing that happened when ATIKU emerged consensue candidate. most of the IBB delegates went to GEJ and others voted for IBB and aliyu gussau who where no longer in the race making it easier for GEJ to win.

Just my analysis, what do you think.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Stands Down by dasa: 1:13am On Apr 13, 2011
@ndu_chuks,  so you are one of those that think GEJ is stupid. you will be shocked that this ribadu thing is his plan. What people fail to understand is that GEJ's strenght lies in the fact that he is always under estimated. He never looks like a treat but he always ends up wining.

PDP cleared Kano in the NASS elections. Kano has the largest population in the north. if they follow party loyalty, then they'll vote GEJ.

Remember when IBB and the rest stepped down for Atiku, all thier supporters moved to GEJ's side not Atiku. The same thing will happen again. Afterall GEJ cleared the way for ribadu to return. if  ribadu steps down, i believe its for GEJ even if he annouces something else.

@wadeoye, na una buy form for am? how much you contribute? Nigerians can forget too much. Buhari, truncated civilian rule and supported abacha to stay in power. Una don forget now now. na wa oh.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Stands Down by dasa: 12:49am On Apr 13, 2011
I congratulate GEJ. ACN and CPC just shot themselves in the foot. How many people in the southwest will vote for buhari sef. i doubt many. half of the traders and market women will still vote ACN there by making the vote null and void. CPC will loose badly in the southwest. Remember this election is about people not parties. the mindset of the average south westerner is jonathan for president, now you are totally taking out ACN that they are loyal to.

Come to think of it, all charges against Ribadu was dropped by GEJ. Gej brought him back. maybe to play this card.

This is the same thing that the north did and GEJ won the primaries easily. Big mistage i tell you. All these people think about is the North and not Nigeria, they want the presidency by all means even if GEJ is doing alot for the north.

Buhari's initial plan is that ribadu will win the SW and he will win half of the north thereby forcing a run off election where they will combine votes and force PDP out. i saw no sense in it then and now everything has crashed.

Anyway, Lets still go out and Vote GEJ.

PoliticsIn One Year, They Will Return To Pdp. Dont Celebrate Yet! by dasa(op): 8:37pm On Apr 10, 2011
Most of the victorious candidates in the NASS elections left PDP at the last minute when they could not get the ticket. as usual they will return to PDP after one year. I think the electoral act should have a clause restricting cross carpeting to four years.

That is the best way to strengthen the opposition.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Has Shown He Can Be Trusted! So He Still Gets My Vote by dasa: 8:27pm On Apr 10, 2011
Suddenly some people believe there can be an uprising in Nigeria. not any time soon.

If GEJ allowed PDP to rig, nothing for happen! una think sey na egypt be this.

Nigerians do not love Nigeria to the extent of laying down their life. is it because GEJ is not a dictator like OBJ or Abacha?

is it because he has given you the confidence to go out and vote.

when them shoot 3 people for Abuja, every body go enter house.

They will just kill, arrest, or bribe the head of the protest, and everybody will go home.

Suddenly we think we will all work together.

Stop being Naive, Just Make sure GEJ remains the president.

PoliticsRe: Free And Fair Elections, Gej Is Keeping His Promise by dasa(op): 11:09pm On Apr 09, 2011
@Bodejohn, if he interferes, nothing will happen. we are not like the arabs. we want to be alive and see the end. All i am saying is that he set the stage for this to happen.

H e is not perfect, he makes mistakes like all of us, but when he does, he tries to remedy it.

I personally dont like PDP, but if we allow our hate for PDP cost us a sincere leader, na we go still suffer am.
PoliticsRe: Free And Fair Elections, Gej Is Keeping His Promise by dasa(op): 10:00pm On Apr 09, 2011
from the begining, GEJ encouraged people to participate by promising and reminding them that there vote will count. in OBJs time, we knew it will be rigged from his statements like ''it is a do or die affair''.

Lets leave sentiments aside, GEJ cares about the people and he has shown it over and over.
Some say he is weak. what has all the strong men achieved for us so far? strong men like IBB, OBJ, BUHARI, ABACHA. nothing at all.

speaking of Buhari, It annoys me so much when people talk about buhari like he is a saint.

this is a man who staged a coup against an elected government and set the stage for people like IBB and Abacha to come in. He even played a major part in the abacha Government.

For the first time, we have a leader who listens and responds promptly.

On the issue of corruption, some say he cannot fight it. well, if i were him, i will wait till i win the election. i will use all those so called corrupt people during my campaign. these people can mobilise and are more experienced in the electoral process.
After i win, i start cutting ties  and jailing them. i believe that is his plan.

Some say Buhari, will fight corruption,  i doubt it. another new batch of thieves will come in and eat. he will start like OBJ did, then return to status quo shortly after.

Vote wisely, dont vote a strong man, vote a listening man.
PoliticsFree And Fair Elections, Gej Is Keeping His Promise by dasa(op): 8:52pm On Apr 09, 2011
GEJ, is just the man we need. As many celebrate PDP loses, lets not forget the man that made this free and fair process possible, GEJ.

He could have interfered and created a process that will make rigging possible, but he didnt.

This is another reason why he has my vote.

GEJ for president, fashola for governor.
PoliticsRe: Goodluck/ Sambo transformation package for Journalists by dasa: 7:32pm On Apr 07, 2011

I hope u guys wont hang yourselves when GEJ wins. He is more popular and has run a better campaign
PoliticsRe: Reuters----80% Lagosians Will Vote Jonathan. How True? by dasa: 9:11am On Apr 07, 2011
many of you here really dislike GEJ and pdp. The truth is, GEJ is the most popular candidate in Nigeria. Those that will actually vote are not on nairaland sharing there opinion. They are on the streets, in the market. Ask them who they know for gov, and they'll say fashola. do the same for pres, and they'll say goodluck. That day people will where acn t-shirts and vote GEJ(just because they know him).
