what you all should know is that, kennis music label is not the core business. it is like the PR and marketing unit of the business. it made money in the past fine. its not making as much now, but it is still relevant to their business. we dont know the millions they are making organizing events for big companies, facilitating sponsorship deals, arranging artiste bookings, advertising etc. that they have gone down on the visible part does not mean it has crashed. i'll use one example. segun arrinze doesnot act any more, but it is now that he is reaping more. he is making alot from advertising. he has done countless tv, radio voiceovers. the real money is in a silent place. |
rita koko mansion. new jam. 'call the hee fcc' download here. http://www.zshare.net/audio/6320081570951321/ |

As long as decisions like this continue, nigeria will not know peace. You want your people to be managers and the niger deltans labourers. U are taking it there so you can have indegines quota for another man oil. Why did yaradua bring back that old man to cause problems for him. Ok, make we dey look. |
every body here is a spectator. so just shut up and watch developments. please someone should tell me what fashola can do. yorubas will loose greatly if there is a tribal conflict. na yorubas full oil industry in niger delta. imagine they become a targets. you'll have thousands of hungry youruba families. The problem is, the rest of nigeria doesnt know how fierce ND guys are. there are so many leavng in remote swamps that are just waitin to use their big guns. they are dead to the world. people leaving in ND know how fearless the boyz are, other nigerians just read the news papaers for half stories. |
please advice on the best cam i can hire for a low amount for a music video |
hello guys, i need training video for ITIL v3. if anyone can point me to a download link i will really appreciate it. thank all. |
hello, My friend was refused a visa to study in the uk. She deffered her admission and appealled. She was given the visa today to travel in september. The problem is, she is getting married in august. Is it possible to defer the visa? Just like one can defer admission. If u know about this, please post. Thanks |
hello all, i want to setup online payment on a site, but i want to use an international payment system instead of interswitch webpay. my question is; which internet payment platform accepts nigerian visa or mastercard. i have paid online using mastercard on 2checkout payment system before, i want to know if nigerian visa cards work too. |
i just droped in to say nigezie's andre blaze is the best, but someone beat me to it, Blaze started in rythm 93.7 port harcourt. Was a presenter there for about 5yrs. he has experience, The rest are just chasing him. |
i think somone needs to put a lil reality check here. I believe in dreams and wont want to discorage anyone. But you may want to know that in naija, only one in 15 will make reasonable money from music. alot of the artiste you know cant show you 1m even after several years in the industry. its all false shining. Drive their friends cars, live with friend or in group house, maintain an expensive life style as they need to match the fame. When will they ever afford to buy or build a house. Some people like dbanj, tuface, timaya etc. make it big, but most wont. So please, dont quit school or your job. If in the bottom of your mind, u know u are talented. Then go on and push it. ur family and friends tell you ur good? Ask people who dont know u, they'll tell u the truth. Ur real calling may just be production, marketing music, or making videos, So think tru it well. Time lost is never regained. |
please state ur source. Correction, natives are not the only artistes. He has got w4 and rocksteady i think. His album is good, but honestly, its not catchy, its targeted at the foreign market. Its too classy for the streets. Happy boy also didnt do a good job with distribution. He is more trust worhty to work wit, but the likes of tjoe and the cartel aint letting him in. lastly, all this big money una dey call. 40m on wat? Na lie abeg. |
does storm still exist? Havnt heard any 'storm in the building' lately. I think mo hits now has a rapper, cos sid and prince are weak. i dont think killz zone is even selling sef. |
mode none just wants the M.I. fame to rub him. desperate move to stay in the game. mode is lyrically sound, but he just doesnt do goo music all the time. only ones in a while. one track then the next 50 is rap, rap, rap, too much talking. |
Punch online is the most visited nigeria news website. they are on top. this idea will either make or break them. i dont think its wise anyway. they provide information to the public, the best way to make money is through adverts. the subscribers will be low and they will loose visitors and as a result, thier curent advertisers. One does not always have to make money directly. they should think of other clever ways to monetize their site. i visit the site once a day usually, but i havnt for the past week because i cant get news from them. overall, they have set the condition needed for another news site to take over. thisday, vanguard, guardian, take over fast. |
A verbal agreement is a contract. It is only more difficult to prove. Think of it. Why would one pay 100k for beat alone so he'll spend again on mixing and mastering. There is a reason why the beat was rejected. And its cuz the terms of the agreement where not met. Terry g is not being professional. Shaka shud seek the completion of the job not a refund. Court will not help, they'll only spend on lawyers. artist and producers just call their friends and say u're my manager. What they need are real business managers who will guide them professionally. In my opinion, terry g is talented but very irresponsible. I think he is less than 25. I might be wrong. But all the fame and the money at that age is messing him up. They guy smoke skunk, really. No be just weed. |
I agree. its too cheap. shud be 350 to 500 buks. the work is too much for that price. the quality of our music these days is very high. it should cost more. but if you sell it higher, the pirates will come in. they dont know cuz they can buy it from the marketer for 40 to 50 buks and resell. so why fake it. The Production cost for each cd is about 30 NGN. the artiste needs to use marketers cuz of the distribution network. they can get u playing in katsina in no time. and u might get paid for a show there. if piracy was checked, and the artiste distributed directly and at the rite price. it'll be great. they'll be multi millionares by now. i mean 50M to 100M area. like play like play, some CDs sell upto 1M copies. imagine N200 on each. dahm, now thats a reason to quit your 9 to 5. we'll get there sha. |
my review of the album. Track 4: aiye po gan ft terry g. banging hit. gets 100% from me Track 7: turn my head ft. waje. great 100% Track 11: leader ft durella. 70% durella killed him sha. Track 15: real nice. smooth. 80% Track 16: Blessing ft. pype. nice 80% wish pype flowed more. Track 19: nice beat and sample from m.i. wish it was my on it sha. 80% Good album, but my question is why make 20 tracks which are mostly skipable, when you can make 10 tracks that are addictive. In Nigeria, only one track can sell you. you need others to consolidate. its not quantity but quality that matters. If dat ibo boy sticks to the beats and style used in track 4 and 7, he'll be too hot!!!! |
