if you know the amount of work and money that goes into making an album, you'll know 1k is cheap.
most studios now charge 20k per track. and an average album has 10 tracks. dats 200k.
that fee is sometimes different from mixing and mastering. Do you know the amount spent on promo?

Artistes don't make much due to piracy. cd should sell for about 1k in naija. then you will see professionals in the industry. piracy should be eradicated totally.

dont u think the job role is quite heavy. I think u are looking for a general manager. I know the biz like the back of my hand, and advise u split the job role into two. Let one person coordinate field ops and anything technical and the other pure customer service and production of marketing marterials and follow up. What device do u base your service on. Tramigo?

@seun, i hvae a canon hf10 and its just like the hv40. its mainly for consumer use. it does not match the dslr dslr range. besides to use an external lens you need and adapter, and the dont usually work well.

All i have to say is 'Welcome to the Niger delta'. Acid rain happens regularly over here as a result of pollution from gas flares.

Planning to buy cann 7d or 5d for video. no need to spend all that money. canon has just release digital rebel t2i (550d). i cost only 800 pounds sterling plus lens and produces the same image quality as 7d. it also has a mic input.

it is 18 mega pixels so its fantastic for still photos too. I'll get mine soon.

the root cause of the unrest in jos is a quest by the fulani settlers to take the state. which will never happen.  the locals see it as the  indigenous vs the settlers. while the fulani settlers see it as muslims vs christians.
