They select the kind of job they do, less-stressful jobs, no time for dirty jobs, an average white-collar job is OK, &he's Contented with that. No one has been able to explain to me how the Annangs are different from the others. At best it appears to be a dialect, it most certainly is not a different language.

I'm Annang and there are no differences between we ibibio and efik, same culture, same names and same languages, the only difference is that we're separated by large bodies of water.
Efik is a language, while Ibibio and Annang are dialects under the efik language

I did my NYSC in Edo state. Got posted to Oredo LGA, the capital, Benin City.
I stayed at the Corpers' Lodge at Ekae, a small town at the outskirts of the city, along Sapele road.

Right from the orientation camp, we were advised not to mess around with the indigenous ladies. At Ekae, We were shown a young dude who served in Benin few years ago.
